Fantastic Service! I have a UPS Box at this location and am at the store frequently. Everyone at the store has always been friendly and in my experience knowledgeable and fast as well. I think they remembered my name after my 2nd or 3rd time in! I can't recommend this store enough whether it be for your daily mailing needs or if you need a UPS Box. For those who don't know, a UPS Box is far superior to a PO Box, with a UPS Box, you can receive UPS, USPS, FedEX, DHL, etc. and I believe the price is less or at least very close. Frankly I would pay 5x the amount I pay for my UPS box, it's that convenient. This might sound like an ad, but I'm just a very satisfied customer. Keep it up guys, you're the best! read more

Not sure if I just got the bad apple of sales reps or what but I would not ship anything from here. I went in to the UPS Store in Arbor Walk to ship an item I sold on eBay, I needed the item boxed up and shipped. This was on Dec 10th. The shipping address was in North Austin, I was shipping this from South Austin. The guy measured the item and said because this is a tech item (which was still in the original box), it needed extra protection and an oversized box. So just to pack it he said was $24, then he said that UPS Ground and 3-day select was not guaranteed to deliver before Christmas and I should upgrade the shipping.. So I got him to quote me prices. His recommendation was UPS air, I said "how can air be faster than ground? When it's literally going across town". He said for sure it would be. Then he quoted me $79.60 and that was on top of the packing of the materials. I just laughed and walked out. I got in my car and drove to Postmarked in Circle C, the guy boxed the item up, quoted me UPS GROUND of all carriers WHICH HIS COMPUTER WAS SAYING A DELIVERY DATE OF THE NEXT DAY. All in for $29. The item was dropped off at around noon and was delivered the next day at 2:00pm. Other than free amazon return drop offs I would steer clear of this place as it seems they are in the business of upselling you to a bunch of crap you don't need. read more

Terrible, rude customer service, from the moment I called ahead of my arrival to the point when I left the store. The employee I interacted with was completely unhelpful and downright argumentative. Basically, I came here to mail a package and was treated like I had the plague. What should have been a 5 minute trip morphed into an hour-long endeavor that wound up being a total waste of time. My experience at this store made me wonder why I would bother paying more money to send something via UPS when USPS is less expensive, more efficient, and actually friendly. Next time, I will definitely go to the post office. read more

To no fault of gentlemen who helped me, albeit briefly, the system generated rates are absolutely ridiculous. UPS is lining their pockets thanks to the individual/occasional shipper. I asked them to package an 8 lb item (7lb + Packaging material weight) and send to Connecticut. After all information was input, $70.00+ was what he thought I would be insane enough to pay for a 4-5 day GROUND service. Surely these guys aren't serious and hopefully nobody is paying that on a frequent basis. To make sure I wasn't completely out of touch UPS.com quoted $24.36 even after I rounded the weight up (9lbs.), the box dimensions were even increased, and insurance was added too. Quite a premium cost difference for a corrugated box, shipping peanuts, and a few pieces of tape. Alternative solution after the sticker shock from the UPS Store. With a little more effort to drive a couple of minutes I will put my faith in the USPS. Used Priority Mail, Insured the item, sent with Signature required, All for $30. Convenience is not worth an additional $40 for the store and UPS to split the profit. read more

I had to send 25+ boxes from here over the course of about a month. There was only one employee one of the times who was actually kind and seemed eager to be helpful. He helped me bring in my 6 boxes with a dolly and asked if I was military or had AAA for a discount since I was spending $300+ dollars. Every other time I went I got no extra help unless I asked, I had to go out of my way to get any discount and had to go in to ask if they could bring out the dolly after I knew that was an option (the first couple times I had to walk back and forth to my car with up to 6 boxes by myself). So overall besides that one employee you get a bad attitude and no help. Also, in case you are wondering, I AM MISSING BOXES!! This could easily be in part because some of the employees did NOT put the labels on as we went. I specifically asked if he would remember to put the labels on before I left and he said yes, my mistake for not making sure. FML. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

My first experience with this place was a joke. I had two small packages going to the same place (they each had their own merchandise repair bar codes) and the guy at the store said I'd save a little in shipping if I put them into one larger box. Okay, make sense if I save a little money, right? Shipping was $12 and the total came to $25. Surprised, I asked why it was so much and the guy says he's got to charge for the box and packing. Oh, my mistake, I thought he was trying to save me a few bucks, not rob me for a box and some packing peanuts. So, I asked how much it would be to ship them separately - this is where it gets funny - the guy took one of the small packages, weighs and measures it, and tells me it'll be a little over $15. When I asked why it cost more to ship a smaller, lighter package than the bigger box he was trying to sell me he answered with "that's just what the computer says". I left, packages in hand, and headed to the post office. Both packages shipped for a total of $11.35. read more

Astonishment is an understatement when I review this situation. Shame on brandy Melville and UPS! As many may know, ACL is tomorrow. I ordered my clothes 3 weeks ago, assuming they would be here in time. I get an email from Brandy Melville saying all shipments will be delayed due to a change in their shipment location and that they should be here by today at the end of the day. Well, you guessed it! They're not! And UPS did not make this situation ANY easier, they would not let me track my shipment from the beginning, all I got was a fucking estimated delivery which was obviously useless because it was incorrect. The staff here is always super helpful, friendly, and patient. A line is never a long one because they move quickly without sacrificing customer service. Destroyed a couple thousand dollars worth of merchandise by mishandling, and packing it wrong. When package was delivered the lady flipped the package upside its head and it landed on the concrete even though it said it was fragile. Think twice before using this service. read more

Thanks for nothing... My father sent me a package from this location. The item was damaged so UPS approved the claim. I spoke with Gary at the UPS store on the same day. I have spoken with him 3 other times and he keeps dragging me along. Finally, today, 3 weeks later, I told him I would send my Dad down to talk to him and I was contacting UPS and UPS store headquarters. Low and behold, he filed the paperwork TODAY!!! Seriously. UPS should close this store , every time I have been in there they won't take UPS packages , with call tags or UPS account numbers . They only time they want your business is when they can over charge you for something plus rude customer service . Take the UPS sign off your door if you won't take UPS packages read more

This was not my first experience with this UPS Store, but today in particular they were unhelpful and rude! The manager wouldn't help (what appeared to be a new employee) with a cancelation only because they didn't have change so I tried to give a credit card instead and was rude telling me he has to do something with the cancellation and proceeded to help everyone that came in after me instead! What kind of place are you running? The service has always been slow, but I tried to be fair and give them another chance which happened to be today... BIG MISTAKE! All I needed was a simple package sent and for someone to walk over and change something in the computer, Nothing more! So, I won't ever return. read more

I came into this store to ship two medium boxes filled with glass vases and candles, as well as some clothing and a few pairs of shoes for extra padding. I recently moved from Austin to California and thought this would be a reliable way to reduce the number of items in my car during the long drive. We came in with the boxes and were met by a young man who seemed entirely uninterested in being there on a Saturday. He was short and unhelpful, and did not explain the documents he asked me to sign. He seemed annoyed when I wanted to look them over for longer than a glance. I let him know that there were fragile items in both boxes and also asked to add a signature to each package (I have had issues in the past with UPS delivering to the wrong residence and didn't want that to happen this time). I also paid for additional insurance and was told that since I packed the boxes myself, any damage to the items inside would not be their fault and insurance was only for lost or stolen packages. Fine, I thought - I packed the boxes well and wrapped each item in packing paper and bubble wrap and wedged them in with clothes. I left feeling uneasy about my things because of his dismissive attitude, but figured all would be well within just a few days when my boxes arrived in CA. Not the case AT ALL. Neither box had been labeled as fragile, and only one box had a signature on it when I paid for and asked for both. The box without the signature clearly had a large heavy box placed on top of it, or else was literally thrown around, as it was completely crunched and had split open in the middle and the sides and was partially taped closed, with clothing spilling out the sides. No explanation from UPS, no notification, and no indication on the box or label that the items were fragile. Luckily, I had packed my things well and none of my glass pieces were broken, but that was certainly not thanks to UPS or to the employees at this store. Would not recommend if you care about the contents of your package or if you expect to be listened to by employees. read more
