I have had a mailbox with these guys for 3 years. Today I arrive at exactly the time they open and the employee with a key arrives 45 minutes late. When I ask for a credit or something for wasting my time he responds with a snarky comment "you want something for free" then goes to tell another customer "some people just want nothing for something" when I call him out on the rude unprofessional comment he tells me he will have someone "physically remove me". Posted a document there asking for next day delivery or following day. My receipt has a next estimated delivery date on it paid extra for the shipping. 3 days later it's still not there, go to UPS store to find out what happened, the guy at the store said it was shipped UPS ground and wouldn't be delivered till the following Tuesday. Effing idiots!! If I wanted it to take a week or more I could have used the effing post office and let them screw it up instead of paying extra to have UPS eff it up. Bunch of morons.. read more

I ordered some candles online. Upon checkout, the website gave me the option to deliver my package to the nearest UPS Store so that it would be delivered to a temperature controlled location instead of my home, which would have the candles potentially sitting in my mailbox in the Texas heat. The shipping charge was exactly the same, so I figured, "why not"? Sounded like a pretty good idea at the time. Upon picking up my online candle order from this Bastrop UPS Store, the associate informs me there is a $10 fee. FOR WHAT?!?! She said since I didn't have a mailbox here, I need to pay the $10 fee! I told her it didn't make sense and if I knew I was going to be charged an extra $10, then I wouldn't have had it delivered here! She said it's up to each UPS Franchise on whether or not they charge this fee. COMPLETE BULLS#!T if you ask me!!! I wanted to refuse my shipment but my purchase also helped a fundraiser, so dumba$$ me paid the freakin $10 fee. Uugh, $10 doesn't sound like much but it is when you're on a fixed income! I'll never use UPS again. Many reasons: 1. A man races ahead of me cutting me off when entering the store. He had numerous boxes as opposed to my one. 2. Male said customer says "I've got more" and leaves after dropping off his 4 boxes. The UPS lady starts to ring up his many boxes as I wait with my one small one. I felt insignificant 3. I make the comment out loud to the UPS lady out loud "Well, that was rude." She ignores me and continues to ring his items up w/o him in the store. 4. When he returns he asks where her colleague is by name and they joke. I realize that bc I'm not a reoccurring customer, I must wait. 5. The ups lady calls up her other colleaguing after calling her lazy out loud in a passive aggressive joking manner. 6. Original UPS lady (Tabrina) walks off. 7. The "lazy" UPS lady rings me up and politely says thank you. 8. There's not many locations of UPS drop off sites anyways. I had to drive to this one but I'll just go to USPS. 9. I'd rather go w/Fed Ex as there's one in my town. 10. This was my first time trying UPS for my sales online but won't use again. read more

I do all of my Amazon returns here and every one of the employees couldn't be more accommodating, friendly & engaging. It makes the Return Process a whole lot easier. They never forget to ask me if I need a receipt. If I didn't have that proof of return and Amazon possibly didn't get it due to it getting lost, the return receipt would remove any liability for me. First off, I have nothing negative to say about the service. It has been spectacular for the few visits I have made. My complaint is that they are not authorized to ship any parts or components related to firearms. I simply wanted to return a broken optic back to its manufacturer and they were not allowed to. It is not a UPS policy but this particular franchise location that has a policy that restricts them from sending anything related to firearms. I was very disappointed that their only option was to refer me to the UPS store in Austin. 38 minutes away if traffic is decent. My major takeaway is that the franchise owner does not support the 2nd Amendment. Going forward I will use our local USPS location instead. read more

Not truly a full service UPS Store. I brought two items to be shipped and use my company UPS account. They do not accept or have the capability to bill corporate UPS accounts. In fact they told me the closest one that would accept corporate accounts is in Austin. This happened on Friday, January 16, 2018. Not sure why they are calling this a UPS Store, if they cannot accept existing UPS Corporate Account Customers. read more

Sent an overnight package, they got the address wrong, it was delivered a day late (to the wrong place) and they said I had to deal with USPS to get a refund - even though they charged my card for the shipping fees.
