If I could give this location no rating, I would. I signed up for a one-year mailbox service with three months free for business use. I have not been able to use the service at all because I never received a working key. Initially, I was told the keys would take two weeks. When I followed up, I was given multiple different timelines: first 3 to 4 days, then I was told the keys were "lost in the mail" and needed to be reordered again. After several follow-ups, I was told the keys would be ready on Monday at 9am. When I arrived, the key provided did not work. I was then given additional explanations and delays, including that the correct key was unavailable due to another renter. Despite repeated assurances, the issue was never resolved in a timely manner. I paid approximately $640 for a service I was unable to use due to ongoing delays and lack of proper communication. I have filed a complaint with corporate and requested a refund. At this point, I do not feel confident in the reliability or professionalism of this location to handle mail services appropriately. I hope this issue is resolved, but based on my experience, I would recommend considering other locations. read more

I went to this store today to return an item to Amazon. They informed me that it has to be in an additional box to return it to Amazon. I purchased a box from them for around $13 and they said I have to pack it myself or I can pay them $34 to pack it for me. I declined and said I would pack it myself, they then told me that I have to buy a roll of tape. This irritated me to have to buy an entire roll to package one box. Anyway I bought it and packaged it, but wouldn't it make more sense to offer me some tape rather than run the chance of having an angry customer write a bad review?! They clearly don't care about customers, they care about selling that one extra item! I will never go here again, learn some customer service and common sense. read more

It's unfortunate you cannot give them business negative stories because if you could give them negative stories I would give this place -5 stars. I shipped an important envelope using this store and my envelope instead of arriving within the projected 3 to 5 days arrived in a months time. This was a time sensitive envelope and I was assured that this would be received in the appropriate time frame. I have tried to recoup my money for the shipping which was $11.60 and I also had to stop payment on a check to the tune of $30. The store will refund me nothing!!!!! The packages I get I have to keep track of them or they will never give them. I have to send my fiancé two sometimes three times just to get the packages. Worst UPS store I have ever been to. 1. Made passport pictures here and the passport agency just wrote to me that the picture is not being accepted. I need to travel soon and may not have a passport now. 2. Went another day to ship something where the vendor clearly said I could go to a UPS store without packing the item to ship it back. The UPS employees said that they do not offer that service (it seemed to me they just didn't want to be bothered). Went to another UPS store on Bell and they gladly shipped the item for me. This store is a nightmare!!!!!!! Drive 10 miles out of your way to go to another UPS store. My husband paid $44 to overnight an envelope. The employee Raja told him it it would be there by 5pm the next day. (Bayside to Yonkers). As the envelope did not arrive in 24 hours. The employee now is telling him he didn't promise 24 hr arrival. I mean who would pay $44 with the notion it would not arrive in 24 hrs? I could bicycle there in 45 min. The customer service thereafter was unacceptable. Calling my husband a liar. Sent my husband to pick-up a small UPS box, since I work from home. We were both under the impression that the flat rate boxes were free, and the larger brown boxes and packing supplies were for sale. When my husband asked if the flat rate boxes were free, he was told by an employee there "of course they're not free, maybe in your country you can get things for free - you should go back there if you want something for free." The problem here isn't the misunderstanding about the charge for the box - I can wait until I'm at work to ship the item, and we get free boxes because we have an account with UPS. The issue is treatment of others. In this day and age, when everyone is showing their ugliness due to political tension - is it really necessary to bring race into every situation to make other people feel bad? More so, when it's a business dealing with a potential customer. The most ironic part is that the employee wasn't even American himself - not that it would have made it okay. I have been a customer of this store for over three years. Every time I am there they are friendly and fast. I have returned boxes from Amazon and shipped large boxes to my daughter in California. They are a bit more expensive but worth not having to go to the UPS center in Maspeth. The employees are good and honest. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE! LOUSY SERVICE AND RUDE STAFF! I have used this location many times since it opened since it's more convenient than the post office for mailing packages. No more! Staff turnover is frequent, it takes forever to have packages processed b-c the staff is new, and the tipping point is the awful, awful service I experienced this week. I sent a package containing home baked cookies to LA on Mon, Mar 1. I received two alerts during the week about delays and was told to keep checking online. Finally I called UPS customer service on Mar 6 (today) and was told the package was delayed because the originating store's end of day upload didn't include the delivery address for my package. They were waiting for the store to get back to them and I should go to the store myself to speed up resolution. I arrived at 4:45 and after waiting for the clerk (Harry) to research the problem, he phoned his manager (Raja) and told me the problem had to wait until Monday since the store was closing. I insisted on having him call back the manager only to be told again by the manager the problem had to wait. Even though Harry spoke English, both communications with his manager took place in another language so I couldn't tell what was being said. I paid $33 and spent hours baking in a wasted effort. I'm contacting UPS's CEO directly to comp since my request for the owner's information was turned down. read more

Came in on Tuesday to drop off packages and they said they didnt have room even for a small package however they were taking everyone elses packages, some which were larger than mine. I had a horrible experience at the bay bridge shopping center ups store. I was waiting half an hour for the guy to pul out the receipt to ship out something and after that he said he couldn't do it. He called the representative from the company I was sending out the package and they were telling him that they created new label and still he wasn't able. At the end the representative told me to go to another ups location to try to do it. I did go to 39 ave and they did it in a second. Of course is very difficult to park there but the people are friendlier and they doing their job instead of being lazy. read more

The man assisting me was not helpful at all. My Amazon package was suppose to be picked up from my home, but I missed the delivery driver so I went to the store to drop it off with my bar code. I was told it was not the right bar code because the package was supposed to be picked up. I was told that they could not help me and to reschedule another pick-up from my home. I left the store with my package and was standing outside when another customer exited the store. She overheard my conversation and told me to login to my Amazon account from my phone and cancel the return. Then request a new return with a drop-off at the store. I did that and got a new bar code. When I went inside to drop the package off with my new bar code, I asked the man why he didn't tell me to do that. He got very defensive and told me that they have nothing to do with Amazon, which is completely ridiculous because Amazon is UPS's biggest customer. The guy was so unhelpful and rude.
