A-FREAKING AMAZING... this is my favorite UPS store in the surrounding area. It's well-staffed, clean, and convenient. I walked in today to drop-off a package and was in-and-out! I've been to other UPS stores recently and have had to wait almost a full hour to be seen, not here! I like that I can drop my items off at the register without shenanigans and can confidently trust this store. The gentleman who helped me was super friendly and gave me a receipt without me asking! He was warm and professional. The other staff also greeted me, such a nice touch! I'm definitely going to come here more often as I never get this customer service at other locations. I also liked that they treated each customer like adults and human beings! I highly recommend The UPS Store for shipping items, it's a fairly simple process with good value. It's always recommended to print out your label before coming, however they can assist you with that here if you need it. Oh and apparently they do live scans now? Rude employees, print jobs are never available on time so we started using an earlier date than we need to incorporate their lateness into our schedule. The tipping point was last Saturday. On Thursday I attempted to start an online print job, but it seems the link is no longer on their site. I clicked on the email address link in the site and emailed the file requesting 2 color prints. When my husband went to pick up the job on Saturday he was told very rudely that IF I had sent it, I sent it to the wrong address and don't know how to use email, you know br aide we're old. I went to return a package. The lady helping me was so rude it was embarrassing. She said I couldn't return it in the original box that it was shipped to me in. This is my go to UPS store and usually services is good. I had a Amazon return recently and I was returning it in the box that it was delivered in the lady helping me tried to sell me a box saying it could not be shipped in the box it was shipped to me. I told her it could be shipped in the box Amazon delivered it in. She had to ask her manager who came out and looked at me and then said it was ok. Then I asked her to put another piece of tape over the shipping label because it wasn't secure. She told me they only use 3 pieces but that she would add a extra piece and then she told me there was no guarantee that the package would arrive because of the shipping box mind you Amazon said it was ok. Long lines. 3 people working, only 2 can do transactions. I've come here twice already. The line is by the door. Prices are high for simple transactions even though lots of advertising around the store about discounts for AAA and AARP. One of the worst locations yet. I am a loyal customer to the UPS Store in Beaumont. I am loyal because they make me feel like family. They are always greet you when you come in and are courteous and knowledgeable. I believe that the main reason why this store is so awesome is because of the management leadership they have and the amazing staff. I could speak of every employee there but I will point out just a few. Jyaire, who I remember from the Yucaipa location (the few times I went there), was a great addition to the Beaumont location. I personally feel any person that can add to a business in a positive away is a person of asset to the business. And Jyaire is that person. He fit right in with such an amazing staff and him being amazing also. Lisa and Susie are also ones I could shine a light on. If it wasn't for their leadership and training their staff wouldn't be as awesome as they are! Beware when using UPS store in Beaumont, CA for your printing needs. I went in looking to order a name stamp. Because I didn't know the size stamp I needed. I asked them and they assisted me in picking a size and I ordered a pre-inked name stamp. A week later I received a email from them with a print order proof for me to approve. The font type and size on the email was what I wanted it to look like, so I approved the email for them to move forward with making the stamp. Picked up the stamp today and I was very disappointed. The font size is so small I can barely see it. Called them to let them know that was not the same size on the email I approved. In speaking with Lisa, she said she would follow up and get back to me. She called me backed and informed me that because I approved it and the size of the stamp, unfortunately all they could do is give me 15% off another stamp. I explained to her that you guys helped me pick the size and said it would work for what I needed. In addition, I approved what I thought I was getting, not this small font. She apologized and said she would put in a suggestion that a disclaimer be added stating this may appear larger than the actual size. How is that helping me today. I am very disappointed and will never use them again for printing. read more

I have tried to be OK with this UPS Store since it changed management. No I finally see why some of the employees from the previous management didn't come with this new group. However, lately it's just too much. I went in to do some Amazon returns and then the young man at the counter asked if I needed stamps. So I asked to see if they had some Christmas stamps. They did. I loved them and since I hadn't bought any in quite a while I had no idea what they cost but I assume they'd gone up quite a bit. The charge was $23.00 for 20 and I left. When I got to my car I kept thinking that seemed pretty high so I went back in and said that stamps are 78 cents and 20 stamps would be $15.60, why do they cost $23.00. I don't want them for the added cost. A woman to the side, guess the manager, said we charge a small convenience fee. I said that almost $8 that isn't a small convenience fee and a customer should be told what they are paying extra for so I wanted my money back. She said sales for stamps are final. I told her this was ridiculous and unfair. No one told me about the convenience fee, she said, "He told you the price $23.00," and I said, yes he told me the price $23.00 but DID NOT EXPLAIN that you were adding almost $8.00 as a CONVENIENCE fee. What person in their right mind would pay that extra for stamps when they can go to the post office. She kept saying "He told you the price." WOW, and she wouldn't refund. I told them I was never coming back. I will go to Kohl's. I have had other issues but have let them slide, but this one put it over the top. Is it even legal to charge that much extra on U S postage stamps? Won't be going back and I recommend if you shop there make sure you ask the prices of EVERYTHING. I called on a busy Saturday to make an appt for a notary they squeezed me in at noon, my errands ran later than I thought and was not able to make the noon appt I called them immediately thinking I wouldn't be able to come in same day since I missed my appt but no Danielle was able to squeeze me in again at 3pm. I arrived on time and immediately the notary Cynthia came out and looked over my paperwork and asked for my ID, she stamped and signed within ten minutes I was done she even attached a document usually required in CA which my paperwork didn't have so she attached it "just in case" which I thought was very thoughtful because she was looking out for my best interest. After she walked me up to pay and again was surprised by the prices I was thinking I was doing to pay $50 or more but no it's about $15 a signature. I called other notaries in the area and was quoted a lot more so I was so happy to have saved a little more than expected. They also take care of sending your paperwork via email or fax which is a win win. If I would have went with any other notary I would have had to worry about faxing as well which most likely would have prolonged me sending in my very important documents but not at the UPS store they will take care of it all. Of course they charge a small fee for both faxing or email but it is a reasonable amount. I was so happy with the service and prices that I know that's where I'll go for any future services I might need. If you dare to ask for a piece of Tape or a customer discarded box for Free, they go on a Rant about Their policies & even threatened to "refuse service" to anyone who asks for anything free. One of the worse UPS location. I just have to deal with going here because it's my local store. There's one particular employee, I believe she is a manager, I think her name is Danielle. She's very rude. It makes it drop off a hostile environment. She has no idea of what customer service means. When she scans in packages she throws the packages and keep in mind some packages are fragile. She has a I don't give a f**k attitude like she doesn't like her job. I am always shipping care packages for family members and the employees in this location are so genuinely nice, it always makes for very pleasant visits! The same girl helped me this time as the last and since it had been over a month I was surprised that she remembered me. I really appreciated that. She is very efficient and personable. While I was waiting for her to get everything together for my package, I overheard the lady next to me while she spoke with the store manager. I needed to drop off a package from my job so I took my package with a label on it into the store just like I had many times before. I walked into the empty store and put my package on the counter. I tell the clerk that I didn't need a receipt and say thank you. The clerk asks if I am sure. I tell her I am sure and continue toward the door. At that point the clerk says 'I'm sorry we can't accept this package.' I ask her why and her reply was 'Because the box shows a picture of what is inside the box.' I tell her that I drop off like this all time. She says 'I'm sorry I can't accept it.' I have never heard of such a thing. That makes absolutely no sense. I had no desire to debate anything with this person so I pick up my package and I leave. I get back to my car and I still need to get this package shipped. I start to drive off and I see a UPS van parked in the parking lot. I drive over and the driver is sitting in his van taking a break. I pull up ask him if I can give the package to him and he replies 'Absolutely, no problem.' Thank you Mr. UPS driver for accepting my package (even though there was a picture on the box) and doing it with a smile. As for the UPS store - never again. read more

I've never had an issue with customer service at this location but that fact that it costs $4 for them to RECEIVE an email for doesn't make any sense to me. Not to print, just to receive it. Please tell me what that covers besides part of your internet bill. That's literally highway robbery. I called prior to doing this and asked if it could be done and I would have my husband pick up the document and this was not mentioned. Not that you have to mention the costs of all services over the phone but let's be real...UPS, you know, that's a rip off and people should be told prior. You have to do better. I went there for a small thing and got charged a big cost $$$ I emailed a document to them for them (inside the store) so that they would print a hard copy for me rom the email. I got charged $4.oo the emailing service fee....correction: 3.99. I believe I should have been made aware of this fee prior to the transmission. Never would I have proceeded due to this overblown amount to send an email. My mouth fell open when I was surprised by the overcharge cost. I called around and no one does this. read more
