I just want to comment on how kind the workers here are. On Monday, I came and one worker (long curly hair, older with glasses) recognized I was a teacher and she told me to download the app to get 20% off my purchase. She went out of her way to tell me! She didn't have to, but this clearly shows her kindness. When I got to my classroom, I realized that a wall calendar I purchased was missing. I checked everywhere but it was no where to be found. There's no way it fell out and it wasn't in my car. I got charged for it but I was thinking maybe it didn't get bagged. I figured I'd go back to the store with my receipt, tell them and see what happens. I was banking on probably having to buy a new one which bummed me out because I'd already spent so much money on my classroom. I explained the situation and the cashier said, "Let's go check it out." We went to the calendars, he told me to point out the one I bought, and he handed it to me. He said, "You have an honest face, I don't even need to see your receipt. Have a wonderful day." I couldn't get a receipt for my last return because she didn't know how to use the printer and the clerk wouldn't give me her name so I could make a note in case there was an issue. This is our second time at this specific location in yucaipa , my honey and I have just started our food truck business and wanted to make flyers and menus Braden was our associate and he is so knowledgeable and very helpful and knows what he's talking about ! He went the extra mile in doing what he needed to do and in less than 2 weeks we received exactly what we envisioned . I just wanted all to know I had a really good experience yesterday. It isn't often I need staples services. Two employees helped me: a young lady with a bit of green tinted hair & a tall young man. So sorry I forgot to pick up their names. I am not computer nor cell phone savvy & the first thing I did was explain what I needed & how I had no idea what I was doing. I pointed out the link sent to me on my phone, & the young lady was so sweet & helpful. I was able to have my pages printed on the customer-use printer. I realize this isn't a big deal to most of you, but it is a big deal when u don't know how to go from link on my phone to watching the pages needed being printed. I signed them....Then I needed them faxed. The young man helped me & he was very kind too. They both were terrific n helped me to not feel bad about not knowing. So...I walked into Staples thinking 'how in the world am I gonna get this done' and walked out smiling, knowing my task was completed. THANK YOU STAPLES. Walked in to have two copies of a 4" x 4 " card stock paper copied on Wednesday afternoon ...NOPE, print person said she would put an order in now and it would be ready Friday late afternoon! This has happened before but I just walked away, however this time this type of Customer Service is ridiculous! No print machines were running, no one else was at the print counter! Yucaipa isn't a hugely populated town, yet this Staples can't process a simple walk-in order! What a sorry excuse for a 'Print & Copy Center'! I'm done trying to support this business! read more

Several issues with this location, but the biggest complaint is with their on-line sales/service/pricing.....A single roll of 12"'x175'x 3/16" bubblewrap is $19.99 in store (it used to be buy 2 rolls and get one FREE for many, many months)....But, I just checked on line and the same roll there is $29.76......33% more. What a rip off. I wonder how many people know how much more they are paying for that free shipping? Staples was having a cool promo: Spend $75 in-store and get 2 FREE movie tickets. But when I asked for my free tickets, I was told their software system was not working correctly and they would have to be mailed to me. It is now 2+ months later and I still have no tickets and no one bothered to contact me from the store and let me know how to get the tickets. And, just recently, I ordered some printing that had to be outsourced and that was supposed to be shipped directly to my home address. But, for some unknown reason they shipped it back to the store...which is 15 miles away from my home.....Grrr. read more

The store at Yucaipa CA is probably one of the WORST Staples stores I've ever visited. The employees don't seem to care about the customer. I intended to buy a mailing box and ship 2 Christmas packages to Sacramento. The two employees at the shipping counter never came to assist me and in fact, the lady walked from the area. I went to get in line and the sales clerk told the customer ahead to fill out the survey. When i got there, I told him that I was going to mail items here, but no one would assist. He looked over, took my money and never said a word about completing a survey.... This store needs new management and training. I also shop at the lake havasu AZ store and the employees have it together. Yucaipa Staples, you need training!!! Was so disappointed with the printing services. I needed 10 copies of my sisters obituary Copied and laminated. For this service a pick up would have been 8 pm (mid day right now). So, they recommended I use the automated photo machine with my credit card. I did. Copies came out on yellow photo paper, not white, and the picture was so blurry I could not use them. I am told by Felicia that "a copy of a copy never reproduces well". Maybe I could have been told that prior to spending my money? Btw, I did show her project prior to her sending me to self copy machine. This was a bad experience for me and could have all been avoided...careless. I won't be back. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Don't typically write reviews but went into the store moments ago asking for assistance with printing and laminating - very basic and easy. But Nicole (apparently the GM, guess finding good people is tough nowadays) made me feel to be an inconvenience and said she was unable to assist. I understand that there are jobs/projects and priorities but the way she approached me was extremely rude and condescending. It's unfortunate because I live right by this store but now will hesitate to go there because of this interaction. Guess I can say most of staff is great. One guy wasnt great, tried relentlessly to get me to buy a warranty I didnt want. But no one else ever has. The young lady who waited on me was very nice, more than just professional and courteous. I don't come in very often but it's always a pleasant experience. The girls who work here make it that way. Bought headphones and they talked me into getting warranty... first of all they had to call out the manager to check my $100 bill which would have been fine but he acted completely annoyed. He gave me my change and walked away.. I took my item. Realized he did not give me a receipt I turned around and he was back in his office. The checker said she didn't have access to get the receipt.. it was connected to my phone number. No one asked me that! That email has been inactive for years. Customer service has been HORRIBLE EVERYWHERE I go since COVID, but I'm happy to say Staples was an exception tonight. Mike took a situation that appeared initially like it would be unnecessarily difficult and found a quick and convenient solution. With the help of some curt strawberry blonde haired youngster of an employee who I THINK was named Evan, I was able to have a conflict resolution within a matter of 5 minutes. I called in advance and by the time I arrived Mike had the chair I needed up front already, whether that was him or Curly, I don't know, but the effort it displayed was very much appreciated in a society where quality customer service has seemingly gone out the window. Deplorable customer service. My mom bought a case for her GPS from this store, unsure if it would fit. She asked a sales rep if she could return it if it was too small, and he said yes after 30 days. It didn't fit so she took it back and was told by another sales rep that it classifies as "electronic equipment" and therefore they wouldn't take it back because it had been more than 10 days. Really jackass? Where do you plug the case in? My mom left with something new she had just bought, that she can't use. I will get her money back for her though. She is visiting me in San Diego and I will return it myself to a store out here where stupid hicks aren't running a store out in the boondocks. Staples is a rip off. Anyone who is considering to shop there shouldn't. If you go a little further into Redlands to Office Depot you get better products, better customer service, and better prices. Trust me. read more

I've been to the office depot 5 times recently because they are closer to where I live in san diego but I was visiting relatives and had some business cards printed here recently and couldn't believe how helpful and patient the associate was and how quickly my request was handled. As someone out of the area I was not at all familiar with this particular store. I was working at a camp in the mountains and in need of a printer right now. My other one finally died. I was looking at printers when Stephanie approached and asked if I needed help. Well, yes I did! I selected what appeared to be a decent low cost HP printer that would fit my needs. Nowhere on the box did it tell if an installation disk was included or if you had to go online to download the printer drivers. My rustic mountain location did not have internet access so I would need an installation disk. Stephanie did not know but immediately set out to find the answer. In about 45 seconds she returned and gave me an affirmative answer. This happened in early July 2014 and I am just now getting around to writing my review. Staples YUCAIPA service is HORRENDOUS! DO NOT GO THERE! My experience, on many occasions! Try Office Depot in Redlands, next to Trader Joe's. Office Depot has a lot of knowledgeable employees, who help you immediately! Staples seems to have only 1 or 2 employees. The managers obviously hang out behind the 2-way mirror and have never emerged, even when the clueless employees were paging them begging them for help. NEVER GO HERE. read more

Walked around the store looking for an external CD/DVD drive and had several workers notice me but no one came up to offer any assistance with my search. The place wasn't busy and there were several employees there. I guess now days you have to wait in line along with customers ready to pay just to ask for help. There was a time not too long ago when all you had to do was stand around and workers would approach you asking if you need help (I must be getting old).
