I don't like this location. I was nearby and it was convenient but the service here is consistently rude. I came last week to return some packages. I see they now have a self-checkout option. Great! I proceed to scan the items via the mobile code on my phone. A rude older woman yelled and told me to come to the register. I told her I already scanned the items and she told me it doesn't matter. I have to take them to her. What is the point of self service? I really don't like this store. I'll avoid at all costs! read more

Went in today to drop off a package in the morning extremely rude associate he told me to put the packages on the scale. I asked if I should put both or just one but I got no response back. I put both packages and he grabs both of them and proceeds to tell me that I need to put one first and the other one after then I told him that I had asked him that but he gave me no answer. Then he asked me that why I was being so rude If I was just so unhappy. I just simply just asked something in a nice way and he was just being rude and also when he asked me that his coworker started laughing. Not place you want to go. Bad experience. read more

This UPS store is located in a strip plaza, right off of Baltimore. The staff here are pretty friendly and, if you're just dropping off packages to mail off, they're pretty fast in scanning it and giving you a confirmation/receipt. Parking can be a little tight, as the plaza itself does get a lot of traffic. +tight parking read more

Worst spot to come to, the manager needs to be fired!! How can you loose someone's package ? And not want to help solve the issues? I even payed to get it signed at delivery. I called and spoke to her she claimed that if a package is not delivered ups just abandons your stuff, what an unprofessional place this is specially when in the package i had my personal information and finger prints .. My husband and I went to the UPS store to return a 4 boxes. The associate at the desk scan the QR code and asked us to place the boxes at the front of the store. He gave me a receipt for the items. A few days later the same boxes were returned to my address. I returned one more time to the UPS/ Beltsville and told an associate that the items came back to me. The associate called the store manager and she gave me a number and asked me to schedule a pickup at my home. The manager at the Beltsville store told me that the driver probably scanned the wrong label. When and I called to schedule the pickup the manager on the phone asked me for the tracking number which I then provided. After looking at the number she said that those numbers that was provided to me was wrong. I went back another time to the UPS store and the young lady printed labels. The ladies here are very professional and friendly..great customer service....however... I got yelled at by the older gentlemen here all because I brought in the originals of some documents. He basically said he cant notarize the originals... I had to actually teach him that he can make copies of the originals and notarize them..and that i will pay for it. I mean it almost became an argument... Also one of my documents had my previous name on it. The man yelled so loudly how he cant stamp those...and I had to tell him that he can simply state that he cant notarize those. This man was so telling and screaming at me..wow...Just for myself am never going here again though it's closer to me....I will go to the one in college park MD. I came here one time to drop off 2 of my amazon boxes at this Beltsville location. I was not sure if the old lady who was working there at that time was the manager or a clerk(she was wearing casual clothes). And she was the only one working alone on that day, January 17, 2019, Thursday at 4:00pm. I asked for receipts which i normally do every time i drop off my boxes at any UPS Store locations. But she insisted and did not want to give me receipts for those 2 boxes because she said it was just a drop off?!!!! She was very very rude and very very condescending old woman!!! I will never forget her face!!! When i got home, I was told that this UPS STORE was owned by husband and wife. I guess she must be one of the owners! Every single time I have a delivery coming through this company and location I get multiple notifications for days that the delivery is delayed due to "operational" reasons. I literally have to wait 3-4 days past the promised delivery date before I finally get my delivery. And most of the time there's considerable damage to the packaging that appears to be from mishandling. If there was any way to block a carrier I would certainly block this company. I was on a time rush and they helped calm down and attended to the many things I had to send, print, and as well notarize all the documents I had. Their shop is really well kept and their system of helping one person at a time as fast and best they can allowed me to stay calm during these uncertain times. The kind lady and man taught me how to operate the computer and as well inform me the process of delivers, notarizing papers, and how much my experience matters to them. Horrible horrible horrible customer service. I had a package sent to this location for pick up. I received a notification that my package arrived at approximately 3:00 pm. I arrive at 5:32. I approach the desk and show the notification to pick up my package. The guy at the desk. I think his name is Eze was so rude and dismissive. He asked my name. I spell it for him T-r-u-.... he says it's not here. I spell my whole name once again. He says it not there call customer service or talk to the delivery guy. He insisted on raising his voice and taking other customers while I'm left to figure out where my package was. Luckily there was another worker there who took the time to read the email. Check the tracking number. And verified that my package was in fact at the location. Instead of apologizing the rude guy tells me i should have given him my "name". I'm like i would have given you the spelling of my last name if you asked. You did not. So as anyone would have done, i gave you my first name. I'm like guy, just admit you made a mistake. Apologize and move on. He said no. He did not make a mistake. He was completely unprofessional and not a good representative for the brand. He through my package on the counter and dismissed me as if I were not a patron. He's completely siaguHis bedside manners are awful. Please look into this... he's bad for business. Unfortunately, I have had a less then desirable experience with the service here. First of all I have been here more then once, because of it's location. Each time the service has been subpar. However, this time I sent a package through them, and my packages are missing. I've tried to get some feedback from the branch and I was put on hold for several minutes and told that customers were there. I'm a customer too, and my problem has not been resolved. They don't seem to take an interest in resolving the problem. I'm very disappointed with the way they handled things. I would avoid this store. read more

I explained other UPS stores tape boxes that are being returned and he absolutely refused. He did not even offer the option for me to pay for the taping job. Then, he printed my label and charged me without informing me of the charge even though I never actually used to computer. He then just walked away and handed me over to another employee. I was just trying to educate the clerk, a white girl, who helped a white man ahead of me not to repeat such a mistake. This is a below standard franchise. AVOID I specifically told them to put the AC cable and software in the same box as a computer I shipped through them. They messed that up. When they forgot to send the disks and cable, they put it in another box and shipped it out UPS ground. THEY DID NOT CONTACT ME. They charged me $77 shipping to send a 50lbs Computer from Maryland to Wisconsin, and an additional $109 for "fragile packaging" that turned out to be bubble wrap, two pieces of styra-foam, and a box, shipped at UPS ground pace. When I calmly asked why I was not contacted, and why the misplaced items were not rush shipped, the franchise owner/manager tried to blame it on his employees, and then raised his voice at me when I asked where I inquired about registering a complaint. A customer should not have to tell a business owner to calm down. He did not offer to give me any kind of refund. Avoid this business. Their customer service, accountability, and communications need too much improvement. read more

I feel compelled to write a review of this place after seeing the others. I got great quick service. I was shipping a prepaid package and she offered me a receipt. In the past at other stores I was told I couldn't get one. I also stopped at another "authorized UPS merchant" and the wanted to charge me a drop off fee. Poor customer service. I believe this location is ran by a husband and wife. The husband didn't not greet me or acknowledge that I was waiting,but continued to talk with a family friend. I think it's a bit unfair to give a poor rating to the local store for the policies of the home corporation. I got really great service from the local store. The staff was courteous and helpful. She pointed out I could save some money by shipping the two packages as a set since they were going to the same destination. She also pointed out that the destination I was sending my product returns to was coming up as a residence. I called up the vendor and it turned out they were running out of their home so it was all right but it was good that she warned me in case it was a wrong address. So anyway, what one thinks about the home corporation is something else. USPS is definitely cheaper but the last time I used them, they couldn't track one of the packages and it nearly got lost so I wasn't so happy. Fed Ex is good but not necessarily any cheaper. You'll have to comparison shop for a given package. But if you decide to go UPS, this is a great location to use. read more
