It's a shipping store, so I usually come here because it's on my way to work and I have something to send that cannot be done through a mailbox. I've had mixed experiences here, so I can't go higher then 3 stars. Today was one of the better experiences. I like that they open at 8 AM. It allows me to stop in and get stuff done that I hate doing on the weekends, because I have better things to do then ship stuff, right? Plus, it's on the way to work, so I'm really not going out of my way. Anyways, I had to return a purchase that I made this morning from Amazon that I did not want. (because the internet lies, and I hated what I thought would be an awesome purchase.) I didn't have a box to send my stuff back in, so for $2.65 they boxed it for me and gave me my tracking number. Quickest purchase and shipping experience ever! They even took my Netflix to put in the mail! I've come here before needing help, and depending on who I get, some staff members are more willing to help then others. One time I printed the wrong label, and the girl wasn't really any help. I asked if I could bring it up on my smart phone or whatnot, and she was like "no, go home and print it out yourself." THANKS. other times I've had staff members that need more pep in their step, and work at a slower pace thus adding to the time that it takes for me to send stuff out. It's not horrible, and I know it's barely after 8 am on any given day that I'm there but we are all here for some shipping fun, right? I will probably continue to come here because the staff is pretty decent aside from the occasional hiccup that I experience. read more

I was completely ripped off. I was in a hurry to mail a package next day air and was charged THREE TIMES what it would have cost with other carriers. I will never use this place for mailing. Worst service provided by Brandon - no information provided on weight of package, rate - only charged my card and gave me a tracking #. I've shipped a few things from this location but this was the first time I shipped something that was irreplaceable. I inherited two oil paintings of my great great grandparents. They are about 140 years old and pretty large at 25"x30". I needed to ship them to my home in CA. When I brought them in, I found that the staff was very helpful in determining the best -- and safest -- way to ship them. Kudos to Brian (owner) for taking an honest interest in making sure of that. Shipping them was not cheap (just under $300) but when they arrived I could see why. They were expertly packed. They were in their original cardboard box, which I provided, and encased in a million packing peanuts (I counted, no not really) and crated in wood so sturdy it weighed 80 pounds. Yes, 80 pounds! There was no way that anything was going to happen to these portraits. Breaking down the crate was challenging, thank goodness for a power screwdriver because the box was secured with 36 screws. I didn't need to hold my breath when I opened the crate, because it was obvious that the portraits couldn't possibly have sustained any damage with the great job that they did. The portraits are now hanging on my dining room wall, and they look to be very happy there, having made their cross-country trip hassle- and stress-free. read more

I usually use the UPS store at Maple and Orchard Lake but because of my schedule I went to this one. In the past they have been terrific. Today I needed to mail a letter to a Post office box quickly. I was not quoted a price before printing the label. It cost me about $10 for priority mail. The problem I had was it was 3pm. It did not leave the store for 24 hours. It has not left the state yet and its almost 2 days. I should of gone to the post office. I could of put a regular stamp on it and mailed it quicker!! read more

I came to this store location on Saturday and received the outstanding service from Brandon S. I literally came in with a "cut and paste" item to print for our school (End Gun Violence cards) and Brandon transformed my old-fashioned image and print into a professional piece. He did so with patience and understanding at my lack of tech savvy, making me feel like I was an important customer, and not embarrassing me for my original work, that was obviously very elementary looking. On top of that, he then cut the regular sized paper into cards so we could distribute them to staff and students, saving my arthritic hands a lot of painstaking cutting. I so appreciated that. When all was said and done, Brandon gave me a discount because it was for a school; a school that serves a 90% poverty population, so we don't have a lot of extra money for these types of things. I nearly cried, as I shook his hand and thanked him for all that he had done to help me personally, as well as our students. With that kind of service, I will come back and I will definitely refer others to your UPS store. Many thanks to Brandon for his diligence, patience, and hard work. I had several framed prints (mostly sentimental and not of great value), a large stone sculpture and a silk Persian rug (valuable) that had to be shipped from Michigan to California. It was a large order and the store was hopping that day. Yet, Jason and his crew took great care of me and assured me that everything would arrive intact and as scheduled. He was right! I can't tell you how wonderfully the items were packed. I would absolutely recommend these folks if you have any shipping and packing needs.
