It's UPS store. It's easy when it's not crowded and there's parking. Couple of the guys there are really chill, one not so much.

Worst Ups store. System is always down. When you try to get staff to open door to ask question they refuse to come. Try calling and they say sign on door and hang up. Don't even let you ask the question. Call to ask question and all they do is hang up on you once they see your number without answering. Management has a serious problem with staff if they are not there. Recommend going to another location. Ups comments were changed from what corporate put. Call corporate as well. I knocked on the door. Multiple staff refused to come to door. I called and was constantly interrupted and not listened to. Manager said "go ahead and write bad review". So now that I have based on their input she will try to turn this around that it was customer? Take responsibility for your comments and interactions with your customer. You did not act in the way most managers would. 1 they would have come to door and spoke with customer 2 they would have said I'm on the phone with IT can I call you back? 3 they would not have continued interrupting customer when asking questions. It was hard to believe today when I went to this store with a little less than 4lbs of paper for shredding The cost $7.47 so needless to say I will never go back to this store when their websites say $.95 a lb. My advice to others is call around and make a better choice for your shredding. read more

I have been using the UPS store at 5438 Lockwood Ridge Rd. Bradenton for several years now and have always had the best costumer service and help but today Greg went way above and beyond the call in helping me. I had a package to return and the label provided just wouldn't print or take after several attempts and fails on my part. Greg remained diligent and patient and eventually used his personal phone to get my label to print. I have tried other drop off services places for returns but I'll always go to this location knowing that I'll be promptly helped and greeted with a friendly face! When has it become a thing that now UPS is charging people to make sure that the box is securely closed the label holders are free, but the tape is not, because the female associate that was there that I just encountered with inform me that any person that is bringing in a box is paying for the tape, but the label holders are OK even though this is the first that I've ever seen that at any UPS store This was the worst experience I've ever had at any UPS and I've been to UPS for years. Never have. I had the worst experience from this female associate that was behind the counter who has red hair that's almost blondish. Never recommend it if she is working, she was just seeing others about her and I'm seeing UPS has not done anything to fix the problem Again when I go to this location, I would rather go to every location in the city because we are at the cusp of two different cities. She saw me physically in the store after Amazon return area after I had scanned everything in and she still insisted as though she was going to be doing it for me when she did nothing and I saw another Sophia walk up to defend her because I'm looking at them both like are you serious because that was beyond biased and beyond racist because I am black. And I am questioning it because that was the first that I've ever had that experience at any UPS and I handled deliveries from my job all the time and I've asked drivers what they could do and they said just bring it to the store they'll make sure it's securely closed. read more

I have used this location several times for returns to Amazon in the last 4 months with no problems. This is why I brought my packaged to be shipped out of state. I wrapped the box in shipping paper with the address written clearly on it. I was told that the box needed to be unwrapped because the shipping equipment could possibly damage it. The employee told me he would unwrap it & place a label on it for me. As hesitant as I was, I agreed telling him the box might not be taped. He assured me that he would take care of it, then showed me the label he would use for shipping. After paying for the shipping I left. I did not hear from them after a month, knowing the delivery had not been made. So I went over to find out what had happened. After researched by the same employee that took my package originally, I was told that my box was damaged in Philadelphia & discarded. And the contents were missing. Ok now what ? Karen took a report & put in a claim for me. After another couple of weeks I was told that UPS denied my claim. I wasn't even offered my shipping charge as a refund. I would have been happy with that even though my personal items were gone. As a previous business owner, that should have been the least they could have done. read more

I am very disappointed with this store. Every customer who came in the door was wearing a mask. But one of the employees was not. Given the circumstances we are all living there is no excuse for her lack of compliance. I will no longer utilize this store read more

I have had two opportunities to use this store's service. Both times I left smiling. They do a good job at whatever "ing" we need.

If there was a way to select zero as a rating that would be my selection. I had a finger printing appointment at 9 am and got zero assistance. Abigail the employee just glanced at my identification to allow me to process doing my prints and never came back to help me when I sat there for over thirty minutes trying to get my prints to take on the pad. On top of that another employee came in and they started complaining about working at this store and customers they have helped that they didn't like. Very unprofessional and would never recommend this location to anyone. In the past when I have been finger printed the employee is there to assist you in the process. read more

If I could give a 0 I would. I went to return something to Amazon for mom. I don't typically print the label until I get there.... I walk in, no one wearing a mask and the female behind the counter is stuffing her fingers in her mouth eating something from a bag. Continues to do so as she is "helping me". She then tells me I don't have a label...I show her my barcode and she said I have the same problem as the other customer and she can't scan or print it. I explained Fb is store had many times before printed my labels. She proceeds to tell me I'm wrong. They've never been able to do that. I said "someone figured it out because they printed them before". She told me I was wrong, threw away her bag and walked away to the other customer. The customer that has the same problem as me. She helped her get her labels. She then goes to the back of the store and tells the man that's talking loudly on the phone something and he said "I have to go, I'll call later" He comes out and he tells me they can't scan it. I can email it to them and they can print it, but it will cost $3. This "fee" is not posted anywhere. I explained again that I've been doing this enough and I'm telling him this store has printed my labels before....with bo fee charged. For future- A little kindness goes a long way, save eating for when the customers are not present and wash your hands! Had good customer service been used this review would have been totally different. Customer service is what keeps customers coming back and paying your wages. read more

I have been using this UPS store to receive my mail and to send/receive packages for almost 1 year. I have always found the staff friendly and responsive. The regular staff know me by name and provide prompt service. The store is very conveniently located and they provide an array of services and supplies. I have never had an issue. I want to especially thank Keren who was there when I came and opened my mailbox and she is still there with a warm smile and a helpful attitude. Keep up the great work! read more

I am new to the area and was fortunate to go to the UPS store on Lockwood Ridge Road. Michelle Londke works at this branch and has been so helpful in my communications, mailings and Notary needs. She is very knowledgeable, professional, pleasant and always greets people with a smile. She is a definite asset to your organization. I will always use this store. I have been using the services of this establishment of late due to it being a local return resource for Amazon. On my first visit, I was disenchanted by a staff member discussing her complete disdain for her manager and that she was leaving her position as a result. My subsequent visits made it abundantly clear of the who, what and why to which the former employee was referring. Nearly each visit since, I have entered the business observing an open computer in the lobby entrance on some random, non-work related, social site with a plate of half eaten food nearby. The "manager" as I have observed and experienced is always extremely irritated, rude and off-putting. Since my shipments are always Amazon returns, I must provide a code that is emailed to me. Yesterday, to my misfortune, the so called manager was the first available associate and as per her usual was quite impatient when I did not immediately display the code. I apologized as I searched my email for the code. She flitted about without comment. Another customer arrived and she immediately stated that "I will take you right here" and deliberately tossed my package aside and took the patron who had just walked in with two large unlabeled packages and then argued with me when I told her I had the code that I was not prepared and now I must wait again. When I asked a question regarding the shipment while she typed in information for the customer that arrived after me, her response was a short, venomous retort. Luckily for me as I was just about to withdraw my packages and leave the premises, the other employee became available. I asked her if she was the owner and she quipped proudly "No, I am the manager." I am a retail manager myself and would never approach nor treat any customer in this manner. She is definitely in the wrong profession however I do not believe anyone pays for her suitability. When I asked for her name the staff member (Terrell) refused to provide me the information as "he did not want to get involved" and she made no attempt to provide me with the information. I did grab a card with the owner's name and left a message prior to this entry but am certain the message will not be delivered or that the employee's may feel pressured to lie on her behalf. This was not an isolated incident and have had many occasion been on the other end of her wrath. In fact, with the exception of today I avoid her and work with her associate Karen who is very pleasant, accommodating and informative. It is amazing that this person can be so rude, obnoxious and slovenly and be labeled a MANAGER as such in a business where professional conduct, respect and customer satisfaction are paramount to success. Unless the owner is absent, unaware or just doesn't care. It truly explains why they are so slow and why the post office is jam packed during this peak season. I also intend to report her misconduct to Amazon as I presume they would not want their successful reputation associated with this type of representation. SHAMEFUL! read more
