I was a box holder at this location for 13 years. I had a great relationship with this store and staff for most of the 13 years. In the last year, their performance has declined dramatically. The owner used to spend a lot of time there, and things were better when he was there. He has effectively turned the store over to poorly trained people and it shows. They lost 4 packages of mine in a 3 month period. They would not look for packages most of the time. One time I was allowed to look myself and found they had mis-marked my package as another box number, and they were not looking at the addresses, only their numbers. This store has had a revolving door of employees, and they don't train their people well. They have no attention to detail, and therefore there are lots of mistakes. Drive the extra distance to go to a different store, this one will lose your stuff, and pack your stuff poorly. Bad people to do business with!!!!! read more

This ups store is deplorable!!! They are thieves and liars!!! They tell one price and charge you another. Ask for your packages Back and they say "to late". This is an awful deceptive place. Incompetent and Rude! I paid $70 to get a package shipped overnight to VA. The next day they had not received it. Von, the very rude manager, claims it is not their fault and I need to go to UPS. The scan clearly shows the package did not leave the store until the next day. Von still claims it's not her fault. Meanwhile, she is rude as if I am bothering her with my gripe. "It got there, didn't it" . Do yourself a favor, use the post office, fed ex, or carrier pigeons... you'll be glad you did. read more

This place should not be allowed to call itself a "UPS" store! This place and the people who work here are about as useful as a wet paper bag. The lady who works here is in no way, shape or form cut out for customer service as she has all the finesse of a blunt axe. Want to use a free UPS box? Nope. Instead you will have to pay 7 dollars for a box the same size. Want to use their tape? Me thinks not. That is a separate "packaging" fee. Me: "But I just need a little tape since you don't have the free boxes." Lady: "Sir, this is an independently owned store. We have to pay for our supplies so we have to charge you a packaging fee." I mean, even the United States Postal Service lets you use their damn tape! So basically, since apparently this isn't actually a real UPS store, instead of getting a free box from UPS you will have to pay for the same sized box and if you want to use their tape that will be another fee and if you're really lucky you might actually leave the store not wanting to punch a wall because of the terrible customer service. It was like every time I asked a question she made me feel like an idiot for not already knowing the answer. Very condescending. I will not be back and I suggest you avoid. My best guess is that Omar H. is the owner or something because I don't think the workers here have cracked a smile in their lives. read more

DO NOT USE THEM! The employee stole my package. He saw what I put in the UPS envelope and it never made it onto a UPS truck. I opened an investigation with UPS corporate and was told that I'd receive updates from the store. I never heard from them. I called corporate again and was told that UPS doesn't reimburse the value of my package so I'm out-of-pocket $300 and was told there was nothing that could be done. Horrible people. read more

Tried calling 3 times over the course of 15 minutes to ask about a shipment. They didn't pick up, and I got a message saying their mailbox was full. Thinking they're just too busy to reply, my husband drives down there, and the woman working is using the company phone to chat with her friend! No wonder I couldn't get through. read more

Terrible customer service and attitude. And I'm very patient and understanding and have gone in a few times as I ship a lot of items . Each time I just figured it was a bad day or something but after my last visit I know for sure now that they do not value their customers. It's too bad. Avoid at all costs. Literally 10x more expensive than the UPS store in Belmar. You can do better. No reason to go here for copies or scans.

So frustrated with the staff here! Came in on Saturday and needed a letter delivered by Tuesday. All the employees were screwing around in the back and it took them 10 minutes to realize that someone was in the store. Paid $25 for 2day shipping. An hour later, an employee left me a message saying that he made a mistake and my package wouldn't be delivered until Wednesday! To add insult to injury, he waited to call me until after they closed so there was nothing I could do about it!!!! So unprofessional and I feel completely ripped off. read more

I have been going back and with Carol/ the store manger about my package that they admitted were delivered to the wrong location and she has been ignoring me. She promised she would call me back on 20 min, than it became 1 hr, and then no response or answer even when I called during their business hours. After many calls and days later I finally got an response, and that's when I found out that they changed my address on the label without checking with me and now they can't get my package back from where ever they delivered it to. They promised they will investigate what happened and notify me but days later I found out they closed my case without any solution or out come and didn't EVEN notify me. I had to contact them again! The store told me to contact corporate and corporate told me to contact the store. I was not pleased about getting the run around and on top of this I can't even contact the "Investigation Team" because apparently they don't have a phone I can call and I have to be at the mercy of them contacting me back. I'm so frustrated with their communication, and false promises. I use to think highly about UPS but now I am so disappointment at their lack of service, especially when it deals with their line of work. read more

Terrible! They tried to make me ship a oversized box for over 50 dollars when USPS charges 19 dollars. They ask for your email address and talk out loud. Really? I wasn't told how much each package was until the very end, I was shocked and took every package back. The guy was super slow and just had to make a comment about everything. Will never go back again. Would rather pay the extra price increase at USPS than go here again. read more

I have been using this office for the last 6 months since I moved from out of state. I use them a lot to ship packages for work. Everyone is very nice and always helpful! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is occasionally it gets backed up if only 1 person is working and there will be a wait. Service though, and attitude are a 5 out of 5! read more

This is the worst store i have ever used. I give it a negitive 10 stars,the help working in the store was allmost impossible to understand but what is worse i had a small package didn't waigh more thean 6oz. AND THEY CHARGED ME 10 dollars to send it. I swear I will never ever use them again or any ups store for that matter.to charge that much for such a small package is just nuts. The guy who worked here doesn't know what he's doing. Let me tell you my situation- I came in with two huge boxes when the store was empty. I had my toddler and 6 year old with me and the very first thing i said was I am sending this through an account through UPS I have the number here and he said ok we did the whole thing I go to pay with the account number and he tells me I can't do that there. Its the first thing I said when I came in. THEN the store started getting a lot of customers he told me he was going to take the other customers then get back to me well people kept coming and he kept helping them until 30 minutes later I say Im sorry I really need to get this shipped out now can u tell me where the ups hub is? (After calling my boss and her telling me it needs to be a UPS HUB) He said I dont know where that is and took the tag off my box and loaded my kids and my stuff off quietly upset. He was an older guy with glasses. I really was in a rush and I was very polite, when I have a job I do everything I can to help my customers Id never put someone aside for so long to just rip the tag off the box.. why didn't he do that in the first place? I went in today to have a piece of art boxed and shipped. The art is around 12"x16" and weighs maybe a l lb. Before bringing it in to this UPS store I put 3/4" styrofoam over the glass, I taped foam core on both sides and wrapped in brown paper. All I needed for them to do was put my package in a box with popcorn, tape up the box, address it and ship it to a west coast town a little over 1,000 miles away. Their price for this was $75!! I didn't put insurance on it. That's how much the art and framing cost!! This past fall I had a very large piece of art (approx 3'x4 1/2' and weighing 8lbs or more) sent from Northern California (and we know how expensive it is to do anything in CA) to the Denver area. The artwork was insured for $10,000. The price? $85!! Why in the heck would my 1lb package cost $75 to ship?!! Hopefully they haven't started their expensive packing process because I'm stopping it and picking up my art tomorrow and getting my money back. This is ridiculous! Oh BTW, the guy behind the counter was not friendly at all. I was able to pick up my package and get my money back. The man that waited on me was not the same as yesterday. He was very indifferent to me and didn't even ask me why I was taking my package back. Oh well. I will be using the post office. read more
