It was an extremely busy day today and Todd was so efficient, polite and kept his cool even when an extremely rude customer couldn't get why his Amazon return code wasn't UPS. Todd politely explained the return would need to be taken to Kohl's or Whole Foods, offered to review the Amazon instructions with the gentleman but he insisted he should be able to return it there, at UPS. Honestly some people can be so impatient and rude. Todd kept it together and politely apologized to everyone in the store he would be with them as soon as he could as he was alone in the shop. Have to take a moment to thank the young men that were working over the weekend and helped me out with a Huge order ($1,800) for shipping, they went above and beyond in providing me information on shipping options, cost and delivery times. Took the order in on Monday and met Todd the owner and could not express enough how helpful the young men were, I get great service from UPS across the country, most of my time is on the road, honestly these young men provided services and details I was not aware of. Todd then makes sure each and every box, each weighing around 56 pounds was packed properly and taped securely. Pleased to say all the boxes shipped to multiple locations across the country arrived safe and securely, no damages at all, this was 14 cases! What brings one to write a review about a ups store - how about exceptional service. I went to ups today happy to see everyone wearing masks and the owner asking everyone entering to wear them to protect their employees. Even though I had to come back twice due to a computer glitch - the owner (Todd, Tad - everything is hard to hear because of masks) assured me I could leave my (iPhone to be shipped when the glitch was gone) and they would follow up. I received two follow-up calls! My phone got out that day - even when dealing with some cranky customers - all was good! Thank you for all your help! read more

I've been coming here for at least a decade and have experienced nothing short of excellent service. I've never had a problem and there have been a couple occasions where Todd and staff have gone the extra mile. This is an original Castle Rock business from before the boom, take a second to introduce yourself, be polite and I'm sure you will get the same in return. I've been present with a couple of other locals during the holidays patiently waiting our turn while a new comer Karen-ed out completely. Why would she expect the staff to bend over backwards for her for free when waiting customers that are familiar with how to Ship a package are ready to go. You get back what you put out. The owner Todd is always in a foul mood and is completely disrespectful to customers. The rest of the staff is very young unknowledgeable, they always refer you to Todd who is down right rude. Todd accuses you of lying if you have a different opinion or statement and will threaten to watch security footage to prove you wrong on his previous statements. Having a P.O. Box is a nightmare and a rip off, Todd will go back on his statements made at opening and is not helpful nor does he care about customer service. I would not recommend this office to anyone, even for simple mailing. There is a near by FexEx and post office and can guarantee the drive is well worth it. read more

Todd has the best customer service of anyone in Castle Rock. He is totally knowledgeable about everything about shipping, he's been doing it for 20 years. He also trains his staff well and treats them well. I read a few of the one star reviews and they are from people who are entitled and expect free service or who cannot follow directions when Amazon says they are supposed to return something IN A BOX which means if something is shipping IN A BOX it has a SHIPPING LABEL and obviously needs to be ready to ship. Just tape up or box or pay a few bucks for the service, people come on. Don't be so dang petty! Anyway, my point is. Todd is great and will help you if you are polite and treat him decent just as everyone should be treated. read more

Terrible customer service. I was told they charge $1 to tape a box closed. I told them that is ridiculous. I tried to say that I understood the cost of doing business but was rudely interrupted and asked what I do for free. He wouldn't even let me answer. He said it costs $50/day to tape boxes for customers. I said I didn't know how when an entire roll is only $3. I later found out the other Castle Rock location does not charge. This store is hit and miss but mostly miss. These people don't seem to know what they're doing. I simply came to return a package to amazon and was given a hard time. The guy wanted me to have my stuff boxed up but the return option I selected was not box or label required. The guy said this was required by amazon so I called amazon to see what was going on. After a brief conversation with amazon, they said to have the guy print out the labels and attach them to the items. They guy begrudgingly printed off the labels and started attaching them to the items. One label was for two items and his head nearly exploded because he could figure out what to do. I suggested taping them together or putting them in a plastic bag but he said I needed to provide the tape or bag. I thought this was interesting since he had just put one of my items in a plastic bag before labeling it. I finally gave up and said never mind and I go somewhere else. I collected my stuff and left. I reported the incident to amazon and they were very apologetic and gave me a $50 credit for the trouble. They will send someone to my house for pickup tomorrow. Then amazon encouraged me to contact UPS to make a complaint. I contacted corporate and they will be investigating this store. It's too bad people have to create such drama. It was a simple return. Never had any issues with returns in the past but since coming to this store, it's one thing after another. One day - everything needs to be boxed, the next day - no box, the next day charges for tape and labels and the list goes on. I'll not use this store a read more

I have been using this UPS store on Front st. for the past 8 years. The customer service has always been exceptional. On many occasions I have had the need to ship numerous and often heavy packages. I have been assisted many times by employee Zack and Todd (the store owner). Unsolicited they will come out to my vehicle and assist in unloading my shipment. I truly appreciate there courtesy and effort. I also have a mail box within the store. When a package arrives for me they will immediately call my cell and advise of the delivery. It is worth paying a little extra to not stand in line at the Post Office. I'm really surprised at the negative reviews for having to pay for tape. I usually frequent this UPS location for my shipping needs. To my surprise today, one of my boxes was loose and required a small strip of tape on one side. I was charged $1 to tape up roughly 12 inches. With all the shipping options but in the Castle Rock area, you would think that it would be simply good service just to provide a strip of tape. I never had this issue at the FedEx around the corner are even the post office in downtown Castle Rock. As a matter of fact, most shippers what take care of it out for you as a courtesy. He is efficient, organized, the place is clean and the service is top notch! This is the first time I used this location. This location OVERCHARGES! I had 2 packages delivered for Christmas My packages had the dimensions of each box printed right on it. (from the box manufacture) However, after paying and looking at my receipt the clerk entered LARGER sizes on BOTH of my boxes. I also purchased stamps, I was not informed that there was a extra charge of $1.20 for a book of stamps. I will not be using this location in the future. read more

I've been a customer of this UPS Store since 2003. Todd is a great business owner who runs a fine operation. I've always had outstanding customer service from Todd and all of his employees. I use this store for my business box rental, copy service, business cards, faxing, and shipping. Many times I have arrived after the store's regular business hours to find that I had received a package that would not fit in my box. Every time that an employee was still there closing for the day, the employee would offer to retrieve my package. And with a simple phone call, I can let Todd know I need some copies made. This store treated me so poorly, I will tell everyone I know to go to the much more customer service friendly store on Wilcox. Zack and Liz were there when I arrive, children in tow with a package. I needed one piece of tape for the top of my package and they told me they'd charge me a dollar for this piece of tape. I didn't have any cash on hand, and my package was prepaid, so I said.. "Are you serious?" Zack said it was a rule and they wouldn't break it for me. I asked him if it was possible to just tape it up and I'd now know for next time and he refused. Liz then popped her head out and said 'we do comp tape for 'nice' customers, but not you." Zach said because I said "Are you serious?" he didn't want to help me and told me to go to their competitor's store on Wilcox. I stood there trying to reason with the two of them for a good 10 minutes and they laughed at me and told me the owner Todd didn't care about losing my business either. Apparently, they break the rules for 'nice customers' but refused to give me the one piece of tape I needed to send my parcel out. I had to drive to wilcox, and that owner was SO GRACIOUS... he taped me up and told me he'd welcome me anytime. BOTTOM LINE: AVOID THIS STORE, save yourself the attitude from the teenage workers there and go directly to the Wilcox store instead.
