I go to this location quite often mostly for Amazon returns. While they are busy more than not , it's never a super long wait. The employees are always super friendly and attentive, especially if you need help at the kiosks I would recommend this location :) read more

I had a return and there were 2 people waiting for the kiosk, no one was at the counter so I approached the counter and the clerk said all returns have to be made at the kiosk. I pointed out there were now 4 people in line and no one at the counter. She said sorry all returns have to go to the kiosk and I had to get back in that line. As soon as I made it to the kiosk because only one was working, the clerk said to the people behind me "I can take you up here!" Everyone was there with a return and most of the people behind me were gone by the time I was done with my 3 returns. NEVER AGAIN!!!!! And very rude on top of it!!! read more

Needed a package shipped ASAP that arrived on Tuesday and the folks here could not have been more helpful and accommodating! Since I've been moving around a lot, I've needed some medical supplies shipped directly to me and UPS has been terrific. While I was there, I met the loveliest woman on line. (Hi Claire!) She's not on Yelp, but we exchanged emails so we could keep in touch. She reminded me of someone I knew a long time ago. As you can tell, my sailor's heart is taking me south, instead of north to Potsdam. But when the feeling strikes, you must throw away your plans! My older brother Paul would always say that. I wonder if he was quoting that, or if he came up with it all by himself. Dad and Paul never got along--Paul was the oldest son, so when he didn't enlist, Dad refused to speak with him for a whole year! I was the next oldest son, but for some reason he never expected me to join the army. Well, it was for the best, I suppose. I can barely watch mystery shows on TV, let alone actually fire a gun at somebody. Can you imagine? Paul and Sonya (who lives in Potsdam) never got along either. When Dad passed she became born-again, which was the last straw for Paul. We all called her Sonny, but after she recommitted herself to Jesus, she insisted on Sonya. It's funny how people change. Her husband answered the phone once when I called years back. He seemed nice. They're lucky to have each other. I promised Claire I'd let her know when I got to Hudson, so that's all for me for now. Oh, and I wanted to add that the UPS Store was very well lit. Sometimes you go into one of these places and a bulb or two is out in the overhead lights. But when they're all working together, boy does it enhance the experience! It helps you see everything (and everyone) so much more clearly. ;) read more

UPS delivered 3 packages for me yesterday. Unfortunately, I didn't know they were coming. Of course, they didn't leave them, but left a notice on my door. It said to pick up the boxes (3) the next day at the UPS Store. I went over to the store and they couldn't have been nicer. I asked them if they would please deliver them the next day. The driver of the truck did NOT check the box tha he would deliver them the next day, SOOOOOO I had to pick them up. I explained to the lady that I live alone and have.M.S. and no one to carry them in. She suggested that I find a relative or a neighbor. The bottom line is, they would not reschedule the delivery. I will question ever using them because of this. It is a hardship. I will use Fed ex next time. I have never had a problem with them. read more

I just got a mailbox here because the NEW mailman on my route will not deliver my Amazon packages. I've complained and done everything, but after having the same post office box for 25 years while getting Amazon packages delivered to my doorstep, the USPS is all messed up. So I got a box at this UPS store that is closer to my house anyway. The employees at this story are ALWAYS busy, but they are efficient and friendly. Couldn't ask for anything better. Zero STARS. Paid more than $68.00 to have package shipped from near Miami, Florida, USA last week. Store had my phone number, address, and e-Mail, but neither alleged owner Steve nor cashier Marina felt it necessary to let me know that package arrived at 10am when I arrived at 3pm to inquire - thankfully I received Tracking Number just an hour ago and found where it was. Then I was charged a FIVE Dollar "pick-up fee". I asked to speak to the manager after saying, "No, this is absolutely ridiculous!". Alleged owner Steve proceeded to get in my face and told me that it was HIS store's policy ... I shook my head in disgust. While handing a $10 bill to Marina, I got a nice huff in my face, as if she was put out, when it was not her that I had the confrontation with. She returned my change of $5.40 very rudely by huffing again & all but slamming it in my hand. If it was the owner, or a male cashier, the end of this encounter would have ended very, very differently. I unpacked my item, and left the box and packing materials next to the "Recycling" area, and walked out. By God and sunny Jesus, I will never use UPS again, ... I actually did not want to to begin with, but it was Veterans Day, so shipper had one choice. USPS or FedEx from here on out, even if I have to wait for service, or extra days. read more

I wish there was a better service then UPS, but there isn't. So many packages have to come from them and it drives me crazy! I have never had a good situation when it comes to having anything delivered from them. 1 time we had one of their drivers blatantly lie and state they left my package behind the storm door. I filed a complaint of theft because we don't even have a storm door and it was a monetary item. Plus the delivery drivers always say they rung the doorbell but that isn't true. We were home all day today and they never rang the doorbell for my package that I paid to have over nighted to me. I now have to wait until tomorrow to pick the package up from this location. When I called them and complained they said he rung the doorbell. Well guess what guys. I have the Ring camera system. I have him on camera leaving the note for the package and leaving. Not even attempting to knock or ring. Every time I have come to this store to pick up my package they always have trouble finding it as well. Not a happy camper. read more

I walked in there with a prepaid box package and they said that the box was I've had is hazardous material and try to sell me another box for $10. I went next-door to the dollar store and got a box for free and they said tried to tell me again that was a box of hazardous material it had a sticker from a previous UPS shipment. These people are just trying to get money from prepaid accounts.These people are just trying to rip you off. I'm going to report them to the UPS headquarters. Stay away! read more

They sent a text that my package was delivered. Package was nowhere to be found. After being put on hold for 45 minutes they told me they would call me back at 2:30. They called back at 2:00 and said the driver would be at my house shortly to try to figure out what happened. He never showed up. Some time between 8-10 pm he must have found the package and came and left it on my doorstep. No knock or doorbell or anything. No note explaining what happened. Keep in mind it was pouring rain out and if the contents of the package would be affected by water they would have been destroyed. I'm glad I got my package but I had a terrible experience with UPS. read more

Sign in the store says "Shipping Internationally. Let us manage the details." Don't believe it! My package is sitting in the UPS Hub after I dropped it off at this store a week ago. Apparently it it missing a Customs Invoice. I have now been to the UPS Store 3 times and the UPS Hub once trying to resolve this. The people at the UPS store didn't appear to know what a customs invoice even is! My package is now a full week late and will no doubt be later by the time it finally arrives, if it ever does. read more

My daughter is moving to Canada for school and we wanted to ship some of her personal belongings for her new apt. that she couldn't take on the plane. I went to UPS official website to get a quote to ship a 15lb box to Victoria, BC and also called customer service. I gave box dimensions, weight, address, ect, and was given a quote for around $45. I went to Cicero UPS store to ship and was told $236! I told them about the other quote and the girl said she didn't know about the website and their prices. I had also brought a 32 in flatscreen tv to box and ship to same and was told it would cost a total of $368 to ship. Official UPS quoted at $109. I had aslo brought 3 other boxes but at that point I didn't bother asking. I refused both and when I called UPS and asked for quotes again just to be sure and received same $45 and $109 quotes as before. They told me that these stores are franchises and can set their own fees. I said shouldn't their quotes be at least similar to UPS website and was told that I could file a complaint about this store with corporate which I have, for whatever it's worth.The customer service rep did say if I take it to UPS directly on Northern Blvd they would match the online quote because it is not a franchise but a direct UPS shipping/delivery center. So,all, go the extra 2 or 3 miles and go to Northern Blvd for honest pricing. They also have the odd size boxes (say for a tv) there, as well. read more

Stopped in today to mail a USPS package. I asked for a receipt /tracking number and was told he couldn't provide one. I showed him what the shipper had sent me and he said he didn't know what it was. I asked him if he could call someone because I have mailed USPS packages there before and he said no that I should take it to the post office. I asked him if the store owner had a phone number and his comment was he does but I'm not giving it to you you'll have to find him at a store. POOR way to do business and treat customers. read more
