Terrible customer service and awful store policies. I was visiting Cocoa Beach as a military member and needed to return an Amazon order via UPS. I was able to get a digital return label but since I was traveling, I had no way to print it. I also didn't have a roll of tape to seal up a very small box. The rep quoted me over $3 to print my label and $2 for a 6" piece of tape. The item I was returning cost me $8. Despite my plea to him that I had no other choice, there was no compromise. He was unapologetic and told me I could pay $8 and UPS will pick it up at my hotel or go to the library to print the label and buy a roll of tape from them for $10. What a terrible thing to say. You all need to reconsider your policy especially if someone comes in with a single small package. I was so upset by this experience that I decided to close my mailbox with UPS Store in Cocoa Beach. They won't get another dollar of my business and I will be sharing with my coworkers and friends this story to advise them to stay away. This is how you treat service members?!? I shipped an auto part that I had already packaged and printed label affixed. When I arrived at the shop there were two people in line in front of me. The person behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. She provided excellent service to each of us in line. She even provided advise on how to save money on shipping packages to each of the people in line. The person who was working the counter was very courteous and helpful. I am very impressed with Misty whenever I go into this store. She is extremely knowledgeable and most helpful. She straightens out the mess I make with my return labels for Amazon!! Dark haired woman on duty Thursday, August 19 is extremely rude. When I didn't at first hear her offer to help (she didn't look up when she said something), she widened her eyes and proceeded to be rude asking if I needed help. I had to wait for the service I was there for, and in the meantime she helped an adult male. With him, she was extremely over the top polite, flirtatious, and helpful. Then when my service was complete, I was over charged. When I questioned the cost, she got snappy and as I walked out the door she says really loud for everybody else in the shop to hear, "just take two dollars out of the drawer and give it to her." I was out the door by that time. I was very embarrassed. I live in the area and in the future, I will go to the UPS store at the port or find services at the local USPS or office supply store. read more

Two things about this store you need to know about: 1) The service is marginal at best. While I have always been helped when asked and pretty much had my needs met, you do get the feeling that you're a nuisance to the workers. They're just not friendly. No smiles, not happy. I know being in business for yourself is tough, but if you can't put on a happy face and welcome the people that keep you in business, then perhaps you shouldn't BE in business. 2) They often close early and do not adhere to their store hours. Now this drives me absolutely mad. Today (3rd of July) at 5:15pm I go to drop off an overnight package with very important papers in it and they're closed, forcing me to drive 15 mins to the Merritt Island UPS store. If the hours on your website, door, telephone and UPS website tell me that you're open till 6pm, by god stay open until 6pm! We need another UPS store to open in Cocoa Beach - these guys have no competition so are totally complacent. read more

This place is a total rip off!!! They charge $10 per notarized signature, the library charges $3. They wanted to charge $50 to send a package and then told me the Post Office would charge $100. Well...the Post Office cost was $20 to send the very same package. So they also are liars!!! read more

5:30 pm for last pickup means when you arrive at 4:45 pm or 5 pm or 5:15 pm - the last pick up has already happened. They won't offer you any assistance or suggestions and will laugh at you when you ask where you can catch a pick up. UPS should be ashamed to franchise to these people. read more

I needed to print out two documents. It was easy to do. I was able to pay quickly because the staff rang me up as soon as my printing finished, working me in while waiting on other people. I really appreciate her consideration. read more

I'll be using the FedEx on Merritt Island across from the Merritt Square Mall!! My wife went in there with a merchandise return and just in case there was additional paperwork required for the return she did not seal the package. The USP store employee charged my wife $2 for approximately 10 inches of clear wrapping tape to seal the package...... Really? What ever happened to customer service?? Avoid at all costs.... literally. I looked, and Office Depot® Brand Heavy-Duty Shipping Tape With Dispenser, 2" x 22.2 Yd., Clear Item # 568769 = $3.19 a roll. Very rude guy with long gray hair and tattoos. Wont be going here again and ill surely prefer USPS service now as the staff is almost always very nice and helpful. I had a prepaid package and he wouldn't even touch it or look at it after I asked him to verify if it was ready to send. He pointed to a pile of packages and told me "put it there!". Didn't say good bye, have a nice day, or anything at all, just stood there with his hands crossed. Everyone was nice but Worst UPS store I have used. I am a UPS MyChoice Premium member and have deliveries rerouted to this "access point" and the store wanted to charge me an additional $10 per box to pick up. After 2 days, several hours on phone calls with UPS Customer Service, UPS Tech Support, UPS Billing, Local UPS hub coordinator, and The UPS Store Corporate Office I finally got my money refunded and all agreed that my boxes were rerouted properly and this store should not be charging me to pick up my boxes.....all based on the store manager Misty saying a "Shop Assist" sticker was missing. The store employees are unable to properly identify and verify my deliveries, could not enter them properly for validation. A sticker is not the only defining evidence. I still have deliveries showing "late" and "undelivered" because they don't know how to process them properly. Completely unacceptable. UPS lost a customer and I will never use this "The UPS Store" ever again. Employees need better training from the owner and from Corporate. Does the owner even know this is happening? If you have problems with this store call The UPS Corporate Office and keep reporting them 800-789-4623. read more

Worst service of any UPS store in the area. This place will try take advantage of you in every way they can. The workers have ZERO concern about customer service or earning repeat business. They want to gouge you as much as possible, and are incredibly lazy when it comes to service. You will save yourself time, money, and sanity avoiding this location. I am not only going through a rough divorce, a rough move to Florida, but I suffered a traumatic brain injury, as well. The owner, who is Bob, and his wife, have gone above and beyond to assist me. They are friendly, extremely knowledgable, and genuinely caring about the fact that I am a disabled person who needs help. I'm alone, with no one to help me, and they know it. I have my mail service with them, and it is always a nice part of my day to visit the store to get my mail. They always take the time to talk to me and ask how I'm doing. I highly recommend this store, especially to those with a disability, such as myself. Life is very hard for those with traumatic brain injuries, but this store, Bob and his wife, have made life a little bit easier and nicer. Thank you so much for helping me. read more

Well, I have went into this store twice and customer service is not the high point- actually it is the lowest point. Each time I have gone in you are made to feel like your shipping is a disturbance or unimportant to those who work there. Unfriendly is the best words I can say. I asked for a piece of tape today and that was too much to ask because " it cost " to much for them to provide. I believe you build business by going that extra step. Next time I will head over to USPS or over to the mainland- I am sure they will value me a bit more. read more

Horrible customer service. Went in to pick up a print order that was submitted online and was met by an expression that made me think they didn't know what print orders are. I showed the gentleman assisting me my order # and after a few minutes of looking was informed they never received the order. When I asked regarding a refund I was told I had to call their corporate number. No offer that they could call and check what happened. I left and called the customer help desk. They were able to locate my order (a miracle since I was told it didn't exist at the store!) and informed me they would call the store to show them how to look it up. I was told I would receive a phone call to let me know how long it would be to prepare my order. Next thing I know, I receive an email saying my order was cancelled. Why offer a print service if you do not want to do the work?! Take any printing you have anywhere but here! read more
