drove all the way to the UPS store in Denham Springs Louisiana only to find that it was closed for today. Really not a good idea.

I had 6 things to return and I observed all 3 desk staff being pleasant, professional, and proficient. The line moved very quickly and they were giving genuine smiles to every customer. I heard "I can help you" and "I hope you have a wonderful day!" Very impressed with them! Keep up the good work!! read more

I would have given this store 4 stars until today. I was willing to overlook the fact that the manager would never call me regarding my auto-renewal on my mailbox, after several notes from her employees. And after a specific request to have her call me, regarding an issue I was experiencing regarding one of her employees was ignored... I decided I would just no longer deal with that employee. Well guess what...that is when the manager decides to call me!! I have NEVER in my life had a conversation like this!!! After explaining that the employee has been extremely unhelpful (drops packages without caring, responds to missing packages inquiries with "well I don't know what to do about that", and shrugging off questions about your mailbox), I was told "that's just not their observation of the employee". Then I get accused of turning and telling a lobby full of customers that I don't trust said employee, and "that's just now how we handle things here"!! I'm then essential asked to close my mailbox at that location. I have had nothing but great service from the rest of the staff the store, and if the manager would have called me back any one of the times I had requested, this would have never happened!! Regardless, to be accused of being such an ugly person is beyond unbelievable...especially to the point of refusing my business!! read more

I'm not sure why this store has such low ratings. I've never been to a better UPS store in my life. They're responsive, helpful, and QUICK. I've been here plenty of times now, and I've never had a problem here! Always a great, mind blowing fast trip! read more

I've used the mailbox services for 6 months, which is handy. BUT you can't have your mail forwarded from a UPS store mail box. Long Before you stop using them you have to contact each party you receive mail from to change your address. The UPS store with simple write Not at Address and return the mail. The shipping services are great, never had an issue and convenient... The staff is friendly and helpful. read more

I hate to totally come down hard on this place, but I stopped in here to print up programs for my aunt's funeral service and wasn't super jazzed with the service. I didn't realize that the pdf made one side of the two-sided doc need a 180 degree turn to make it work until I got in here. Instead of being like "hey, I'm a guy who runs a copy store and should be on top of this and know tricks of the copier," the guy just sort of told me I'd have to fix the original file. He was the only one apparently working and it got pretty busy quickly. As he was helping others, I asked if he could just manually print one side, and then manually print the other (this from my vast experience running copies at my kid's school for PTO) and he acted like that was an impossible task for such a sophisticated copier. He took a couple people before me and came over and tried it. While I appreciate him trying it (and finally getting it), he unfortunately tried so many times that it degraded the quality of the photo on the program. Insult to injury, he complimented the photo at the end, but it was on one of the first he printed before it became a pixelated mess. I paid $20 for 200 copies, and that after he complained on the phone when I called ahead about how he might now have enough paper because paper is $30 more a case at Office Depot than Wal-Mart, but Wal-Mart is out right now. I don't need your business model, just these copies. I was disappointed by the results. Tons of people came in and out while trying to get a decent finished product, and the guy seemed friendly and like he had a good rapport with his customers. I'm sure they'd rate him higher than me, but as someone on my way to a funeral and needing someone on the ball, I was disappointed. read more

Like many businesses these days, we have grown to expect great customer service from UPS. Primarily, this is a place that specializes in packing , shipping and also you can rent a post office box from them as well. I didn't even know that they made copies here,and feel sorry that Brandy C had such a horrible experience here. I recomment Kinkos on airline for copies...either that, or a good friend or relative who has a color laserjet printer. On a short notice, and possibly pressured for time, this is not good for anyone's business...and also the funeral home themselves should be set up to do this for you...or most any church could too. My condolances on the loss of your aunt. There have been a few things that have occurred using UPS, in general, which have nothing to do with the shipper...we once shipped a king cake using ups. It was going to Seattle, WA via next day air. The king cake arrived in Seattle, but was left sitting outside of an apartment...rats actually got into the box and ate into the king cake..yes, it's very funny now...but, at this time, I had this shipped from New Orleans,and didn't use " Cake Palace", as I should have....but, I never did get reimbursed from either UPS OR the bakery in New Orleans...when I told the bakery about it, the lady laughed and said " Those yankee rats have never tasted anything so good....". My daughter, being raised in Baton Rouge, was disgusted at the box that was totally ruined. We learned that it had sat overnight in a warehouse,and that is where the damage could have taken place. But, neither UPS OR the bakery would accept responsibllity. I shipped a sculpture to a friend from the Denham Springs location to a location in Richmond, VA. The receiver never got the box...we suspect that someone maybe saw the box and possibly stole it..but, can't be sure. When shipping a box, ask for " signiature required" so you can be assured the other party gets the items. We also lost an entire shipment of household goods being sent from Holland to the USA ...in a UPS warehouse fire in 1980. All of our photos of living in Holland went up in flames...once again, things like this can and do happen. It's not the fault of the shipper, in all cases,but sometimes packages receive very rough handling..even if " fragile " is written on the box. Have this shipper, or any UPS shipper actually pack your box for you...it may cost a bit more,but it is worth it..trust me. Once again, sorry that Brandy had a horrible experience. I have had good experiences with this business...and at times, they do get busy and are short handed...so, I would not choose this particular business for printing or making copies. satisfied customers are what these small business owners stake their reputation on. read more

Don't use UPS if you're looking for reliable service to pick up a package. August 3rd, they dropped off a return label on my front porch to return to Amazon, when I wasn't home, never notified me that they were bringing the label. I called to schedule a pick up before I left on vacation August 7th, returned from vacation August 18th, package still sitting on my carport. They charged my bank account $5.80 for pick up, after 5 more calls to UPS to arrange pick up, they couldn't manage to get a truck out here to pick up this one 2 pound package. Today, August 21st I will have to drive about 30 miles to drop off at a UPS facility or lose close to $100.00 in school uniforms that didn't fit my granddaughter. Five different representatives couldn't get their story straight or manage a pick up, oh, and one wanted to charge me $14.00 more dollars to get a truck out here. Total nightmare!! read more

I am extremely disappointed in this ups store. Two weeks ago I went to ship two boxes. When I walked in there were two girls at the desk playing on their phones. They did not say hello, how are you, or acknowledge me (the only customer in the store) at all. As I walked to the desk, neither called me over to ask if they could help me. I bought a box from one of the girls, put my item in the box, then set the label on top. I then handed her the other box with the label set on top of the box. The girl told me that she would seal my boxes, tape my labels and get them shipped. She told me that I could go, and sadly, I left before I could check her work. Yesterday, I got an email from one of the companies that I shipped to saying that they received the wrong item. The girl at the desk had switched the labels on my boxes! I know for sure that I set the right label on the right box, as I double checked before I left. I have nothing nice to say about this store. The staff isn't friendly, not helpful, and clearly can't label boxes. I have never had such terrible service with a ups store before and I will not be using this store again. read more

This place is so unprofessional. I went there to receive a time sensitive fax, and waited in the parking lot for over an hour for the fax. Finally when I went in to get the fax, the young girl that was working there said she just realized that there wasn't any toner in the fax machine. It seems like they would check that before they opened! I asked her when it would be fixed, and she told me she didn't know. All of that time I spent was for nothing. I will NEVER go back to that place. She couldn't care less about my situation in needing that fax ASAP. She didn't even say she was sorry. They suck!!!!! read more
