If it wasn't before, online shopping has really become a way of life now and with it comes inevitable returns. Thank goodness for The UPS store for all my Amazon returns! I usually get a prepaid return label, but in the occasions where one is not provided, the UPS store has helped me out with that. And they've also been a great help with anything else shipping and mailing. I've always found the staff to be courteous and accurate with their services here, which include the standard shipping and mailing, but also fax services, paper shredding, private mailboxes and many others. The store is a bit small, so they have a current social distancing limit of 4 customers in the store at a time. That hasn't been a big deal for me, I don't usually have to wait but when I do it hasn't been for a very long time at all. They have a great location on Gratiot, with several free parking options including out front on Gratiot, on the side streets right around the corner, and there's a parking lot in the back. read more

I had to go here to print out some court documents, and YES...and I was able to send the PDF word documents to an email they provided me So I had my computer with me I was using my phone as the hotspot, and I just emailed over the PDF to them and the guy behind the counter took care of the rest. Mind you when you do it this way it cost more. I received 3 copies of 3 pages and it cost me around $10 Compared to the normal... I think it's 7 or 8 cents at staples. But this is kinda your one stop shop I was able to get a UPS priority express certified envelope there so boom and I'm set ready to rock and roll!!! Oh and people are really friendly they are really helpful I definitely recommend this place. read more

No 800 number anywhere for tracking stuff. They want you to join and create a login so they can get information on you to sell.

I called prior to coming to the store in regard to printing a document. When I called they said it would be .16 cents per page. When I arrived they said it would be $1.50 per page. This is a big error. I would have had it printed elsewhere before arriving to have it notarized. This cost me an extra $25. I couldn't go elsewhere once I was at the store because I had my customer with me. The representative could have owned up to the mistake and honored the price referenced on the phone when I called. Great customer service experiences are hard to come by these days. I do appreciate businesses being open during this time; however, not when they are gouging consumers. Charging $1.50 to print each page is gouging, as the cost to you is substantially less. A smart business owner would admit their staff may have made a mistake and offer a refund for the difference vs. making public jabs. read more

I went in today to pick up a package. The two people who were behind the counter when I walked in, looked up then right back down after they saw me, which was extremely off putting. The older man with glasses did not acknowledge me until the Black woman/employee did (who came from behind a partition in the store) although I had been in the store for about 30 seconds. He asked me "Did I have a name?" after asking me "Can I help you" and thereafter I turned all my attention to the Black woman who properly greeted me , a customer, with a smile and asked how could she help me. The younger Black gentleman also greeted me, a customer. I then spoke aloud of how I will never come in this store again, showed my ID, signed for my package, received my package and was given parting words by the Black woman/employee. She also made mention of a coupon that was taped to my package that I'll never use if I can only redeem it at this location. There is a UPS locker right up the street that I'll use to pick up my packages from now on. read more

I have used this store in the past without any problems. Now I see a news story about packages not being sent . Wow not me ! Yah right it's my turn ! I'm be charged for an item I didn't insure. That's on me, but I won't use the stores anymore !!!!! read more

I just left the 9 Mile and Gratiot UPS Store located in Eastpointe, Michigan. I was very disappointed that the clerk was going to charge me $1 for a single strip of tape on my Amazon box. I told her that I work at the United States Postal Service and I use to be a Window Clerk and I never charged anyone for tape. I can understand if I had a few boxes to tape up, but I had one single box, probably about an 8 inch strip going across the top. I left without the clerk being helpful at all... I guess it just left me shocked that the clerks have to nickel and dime you for absolutely everything. I don't know if this is correct clerk policy at the UPS Store, but it just took me back. Like I said, I could see if I had a few boxes that needed tape, but come on, that was pretty cheap! read more

I needed to have 5 large Art Panels shipped to my home near San Diego, CA hours before I needed leave for the airpot, so without my supervision The UPS Store in Eastpoint packaged the panels with precision and shipped them. They are very very very slow. I heard a male employee on the phone trying to help a customer and it seemed like a long process for just a number to a different type location. After about 5 minutes of standing their, they charged me a dollar because they didn't like my taping job on the Comcast package. I would definitely just ship from my house or place of business next time. I would not go back to this location. Very disappointed with them. read more
