1 Star - Completely unacceptable and misleading pricing I had a terrible experience at the UPS Store in Eden Prairie. I was quoted $78 to ship a package to the UK, agreed to it, and later discovered I was charged $500 instead. This was never clearly explained, approved, or authorized by me. This feels extremely misleading and unprofessional. Customers should be able to trust the price they are given at the counter--especially for international shipping, where costs matter. A difference like this is not a "small mistake," it's unacceptable. I would strongly caution others to double-check everything in writing before shipping here. Transparency and honesty were completely lacking in my experience. read more

The Eden Prairie store is my least favorite to visit. I only go here if it's convenient to my list of errands I'm running because it's open the latest most days. The individual that is often working when I go in is rude, gets very upset and aggressive if you have questions regarding a return shipment or mistakenly bring a package that needed an at home label printed. Customer service at this location needs a massive overhaul. read more

The UPS Store - Shipping Centers Near Me - Eden Prairie, Minnesota

They receive packages early in the morning from Eagan and sit on them for couple days instead of delivering right away and making the customers happy. Also, at times I have urgent next day deliveries that they are supposed to bring up my house before 9am but they change the delivery time to whatever is convenient for them. And finally, a lot of times the packages come damaged. USPS and FedEx provide much better service. read more

If i could give negative reviews I would. I walked into this store with a return slip that the UPS store dropped off on my door for missing the time frame when they were coming to pick up an Amazon return package and asked the man at desk if this was okay to return here with the slip in hand as these were dining chairs and were heavy that I did not want to carry in unless i needed to. The guy said it was totally fine and so I proceeded to go to my car and grab both of my boxes of dining chairs. After I brought them in he then told me i could not return them here without another return slip. So I went on Amazon returns and email the store my return slip. He said that specific return slip was not acceptable although it was from my Amazon site and from my order. He stated I needed to call Amazon although UPS is the one who dropped off my return slip at the door. He continued to yell at me in front of other customers and the customers were trying to explain to him the situation which he clearly could care less to help out about. What an awful location. Kinda hysterical - the adult employee in charge came to the front of counter to service customers without wearing a mask and he stands in front of a sign that says they are wearing masks to protect their customers. Hey, it's up to them whether or not to require masks for employees, but don't have a huge sign saying they are wearing masks to protect their customers and then have no masks. Stay away, if only for hypocrisy and stupidity. read more

I called to see if the notary was available and was told yes. I was driving from Richfield so asked them what time they left. They stated they would wait until I arrived. I told them 30 minutes but I arrived in 20 minute. When I arrived they said the notary had just left. Not sure why they said they would wait if they knew they were leaving. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE service. First I want to say, the lady in front of me walked out on them because she was trying to ship a very small package overnight and they wanted to charge her $93. She was like, "there's no way this costs $93 to ship." She was right, that's ridiculous. Went to return an Amazon package (which I've done a million times) and they claim that they need the shipping label which cost $2 to print. UPS has an agreement/system with Amazon that all they need to do is SCAN a barcode while you drop off the item and you're good. Again, I do this almost weekly. I agreed to try it their way and then they said "You must have sent the email the wrong way, b/c I can't open the attachment." Literally all I did was forward the email WITH the attachment. Then the guy was like "well don't open anything before you send it to us", and I said I didn't. He argues, "yes you did" - until I CLOSED the entire email on my phone and reopened it showing him that I DID NOT touch anything. "Oh ok, I guess you didn't", he says. THEN, when I ask why they can't scan the barcode like EVERY other UPS store, he says, "You're supposed to provide the shipping label with it." I respond, "I do this all the time." He says back, "You may have once or twice, but we do this every day." Um, how would you know how often I do this? It's one thing to be incompetent (which they were and clearly are, hence the 2.5 stars they have on Yelp and 3 on Google) but to be incompetent with a bad attitude? They have no place being in business. I'm so glad the lady in front of me did not give them the $93 business and just walked out. I should add, I went to another UPS store just a few minutes away right after and they had no problem just scanning and returning like all of the others. I had a package that I had to send to Australia on a rush. I went online to try to print a label and made a mistake. Frustrated I went to the store and I wasn't the most pleasant but I appreciate their patience with me. On top of that they helped me make sure that the package would be shipped and arrive to it's destination on time. They also went out of their way to help me save money by helping me repackage my item into a smaller box. I definitely like this location and would recommend stopping by here. read more

I mailed an Amazon package through this store and unfortunately didn't ask for a receipt. Usually, I'd ask for a receipt but didn't bother this particular day because I trusted that the package would reach Amazon. When I left the store, I had a feeling that I should have waited for the receipt. Well sure enough, Amazon did NOT receive this ONE package and wanted to charge me for the items. I explained to Amazon that I did return the package but had no proof. Amazon thankfully gave me the refund anyway. I'd advise everyone to get your receipt even if you're in a rush. Don't make the mistake I did because I surely won't do it again. read more

Bypass and go down the street to Office Depot for print and copy needs. The UPS store associate couldn't operate the copier for a simple request to insert the custom paper I provided. The other project was a color copy, 4 copies. While doing my color copies, complained that this was too much work and his real job was packaging. I'm writing this from Office Depot. They did the project on the spot. 5 minutes. read more

The owners and staff at this store are very help ful and courteous. Going to the UPS store can be a hassle; the staff makes up for that. This store is kind of small and at some times the waits can be long and the store crowded. The staff almost always make it pleasant. read more

Let me start off by saying that UPS is my least favorite shipping method but unfortunately you don't really get a choice in what shipping company places use. It is what it is. My apartment does not allow packages to be delivered so I have to have them delivered to the store to pick up. I recently had a package sent to this store and was told I had to pay $5. Which has never happened before and it's supposed to be free. Sure enough, call UPS and they said I shouldn't have been charged but since stores are franchised they can't do anything. It's only $5, not the end of the world. But still disappointed that they were adamant that I was wrong and owed them. Will definitely not ever use this store again. Update-- so one of my packages was to be delivered the day I was leaving for vacation. I told them they would need to return to sender as I bought it for vacation and would be out of the country when it arrived. A month and a half later, it's still sitting at the stupid store. So I've now had to pay interest on those items because they for some reason did not send back after 72 hours like UPS states. Ugh, seriously. read more

Thank you, @ups, for the "stellar" delivery of my son's custom made cake for our party this weekend. After going to YOUR store and speaking to YOUR STAFF on how to properly package and ship, it was delivered carelessly and the cake is damaged and unusable. While I can understand the mistake and the need for photos to prove the damage, it is the interrogation, aka interview, you've had us endure the past 4 days which has been a nightmare. When you attempted to retrieve the cake, it was odd, but okay. Similar to receiving the wrong pizza and the restaurant requiring to see it first in order to get the correct order. The lack of communication and accountability is astounding. On the other hand, you've done a wonderful job of wasting our time when we need to be focused on other things. We truly know "what Brown can do for you" means. read more

I went to the store to do an amazon return with my dog. I have been in that particular store with my dog dozens of times but was told today I couldn't bring her in anymore. She was no trouble walked nicely on her leash and didn't bark. Also the lady didn't bother to ask if she was a pet or some kind of service dog. By law they have to allow service dogs. read more

I am here to report (much like others) that the quality of service, packaging, and customer service by this UPS store is HORRIBLE! I cannot recommend this store to my worst enemy. I had a vintage stereo amplifier packaged and shipped (by the store owner!) and it arrived in pieces. (the various UPS employees that threw the package around during it's journey did not help I'm sure) I don't know who thought two layers of bubble wrap would suffice, but they clearly need to go back to UPS college. (I'm betting it has very similar courses to Clown College) It has been a month and their "7-10 business day claims process" is clearly broken, as is my item. When I call they say they will call me back, they NEVER have. tl;dr - Don't waste your time/money/etc on this store, or any UPS location for that matter as I am sure most of them operate this way. It's not friendly and they have no concern about address spelling accuracy and literally said, "it doesn't matter." To who? It matters to me if my package goes missing. But not to them. Hmm. Did training not convey that they are in the business of actually getting items from point A to B? Yes, spelling matters. So after two clearly spoken corrections, I gave up and wrote on the label myself. Not good. It's silly to continue doing business with people who operate at C- level and think it's the standard. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I paid for package to be shipped to KS, yet it came back to me. I pointed out to the associate that there was label on other side, he said he would black it out. He did not. I explained what had happen to the manager, she said well he was new. I sent my daughter to box up items that would not fit in my suitcase. For an 18 x 18 box the total was $73.50. This includes them packing it. The box alone cost over $9! Way overpriced. If I could give NO STARS - I would! This Eden Prairie UPS store (in Tower Square shopping center) is the absolute worst!! I had a birthday present to ship last week. Each time I've been to this location, they don't greet you when you arrive, just walk up from the back like you're bothering them. The worker was texting on the cell phone when I arrived, didn't acknowledge me and didn't stop texting which left me waiting, so I walked out. Terrible customer service, went to Office Depot by Best Buy for prompt and exact shipping services. I won't spend my hard-earned money anywhere that doesn't value my business and at this UPS Store they don't care about customers and growing their business - sad, I hope they sell-out to someone that wants the opportunity to serve the EP community. Horrible service. Didn't have the correct size box I needed, and offered me the next size up, however wouldn't comp me the $2 price difference. I still bought the box anyways, but then they wouldn't let me use any of their packing tape to finish my order and pointed to the wall of packing tape for me to purchase. Seriously? I have not visited this store personally however, someone was shipping me a package (from MN to CA) and used this location. I received an email confirmation that the shipping process had started but the address on the package was an extremely old address of mine (10+ years old) so in a panic, I called this location (I am in California) to see if it was by chance still in the building. The woman who answered the phone was so helpful! I wish I had her name (it was Tuesday, January 26th around 3pm PST, 5pm CT). She went searching for the package to see if it was already on a truck or if she could find it at their location. She tracked it down still in the facility and was able to update the shipping address and put on a new shipping label to be sent to my correct address. I really appreciated her willingness to help resolve this situation before it resulted in a missing package! Thank you, UPS! Excellent customer service! read more
