I went to the store today to make a "Happy" return. I told the manager what I wanted to do and he replied Ok. I said I didn't know what to do and he answered Neither do I and he just sat there. I then asked if he needed to see anything from me, and he said he needed to scan a QR code in my email. He was very surly, unfriendly, and unhelpful, as other staff looked on. Surprising for someone who is a manager. More customer service training is needed. read more

Frey provided me with stellar assistance and kind, attentive, and excellent level of professionalism where I was given beyond the line of duty guidance in that she provided me with the correct address for a location that was abroad and she also told me a wonderful and helpful way to save no less than $250 in sending this important wedding card and gift to a dear friend abroad. And to boot, she even followed me and ran out to me when I was about to get into my car in the parking lot to give me the piece of paper I needed to mail the gift that had the address written on it. Wow, perhaps it is unique to the employee I tried to work with. As I walked in, a women was walking out, very sad and disturbed. After she left, he yelled "well she shouldn't shop at amazon if she doesn't know how to make returns". I noted that I was the only person in the store with 2 employees and I had 7 amazon returns (shopping for my 90 year old mother). The crabby guy approached me. Wish it would have been the nice guy. The crabby guy made it clear he wanted me to use the kioz, although I had never seen one, I said I would try. I immediately got confused, he copped an attitude and was very impatient with me. I tried to explain something about the Amazon app and he said "I have not seen the app and know nothing about it". I told him I would need a minute to think to figure it out (still the only customer in the store) but he kept repeating the same instruction, getting louder and louder as I tried to explain to him why it wasn't working. Finally more customers came into the store and he yelled. "Anyone who as Amazon returns, please use the keoz!!" At that point I told him I was going to step aside so the other customers could get help. This seemed to trigger him even more. I left in tears and went to my usual UPS store, they were patient, listened to my app issue and solved it immediately. They were amazing as usual. I have been shopping and returning items from amazon since 2013, I have remained a loyal customer because returns are so easy and convenient. I suspect the customer before me had a lot of shopping/return experience with Amazon also. Perhaps the employee that has no experience with the app and has no interest in learning was the person in the store that was out of place. This was a unique and unpleasant experience, it would have worked out if he would have a little patience and listened. I was the only customer in the store. read more

This UPS store was a little hard to find. It's tucked away in the strip mall. The people that worked there were friendly, but not very efficient at getting people in and out the door, they seemed to take there time. I ran in to drop two packages off that were already paid for, but it still took about 6 minutes to get through a line of two people. They had two people working, so I'm not sure why it took so long. read more

I dropped my completed Covid-19 test at this UPS store and it never made it to the lab. The owner repeatedly lied to me about her ability to help track the package (she blamed the driver whom she identified as "David") to determine whether the test was even picked-up or determine why it wasn't delivered to the lab for processing. She repeatedly stated it wasn't her store's fault and that they are just a drop-off site, but if you can't trust the drop-off site, why even bother? UPDATE: It turns out the store never bothered to scan the shipping label that came with the test, but still insisted they "knew" the test had been picked-up by a driver. read more

Ugh! Had an extremely important document that needed to be guaranteed arrival of the following morning. It didn't get there in time, nor did it get there six hours after guarantee time. After spending 30 minutes on hold with UPS, finally called the store. No apology, no empathy, was told this was a busy season and couldn't guarantee when driver would get there. Mark was extremely condescending. I tried to be very clear and polite seeing I was interacting with this type of personality. Refused to tell me how the packaging costs work when I asked. Took a few attempts for him to articulate the insurance pricing in a way anyone could understand. Each question I asked was treated with contempt. I have shipped with this UPS location for years. My daughters live in FL., and i like to ship them things from time to time. they're decorating and I'm downsizing. On approximately the first part of December 2016, I was getting packages from this ups store. I had a suitcase attached to my wheelchair. Steve, the owner of this ups store attempted to grab and detach my suitcase from my wheelchair. I immediately ordered him away from my wheelchair. I told him never to handle anything attached to my wheelchair. He appeared angry and stormed off. On 12/13/2016, i returned to this store to get my packages. Upon entering this store, I rolled in my wheelchair to my rented mailbox. Steve stood off to the side, telling me he has my mail. I told him never to remove my mail from my mailbox. He started yelling at me and arguing with me. He said he sorts my mail and that gave him the right to remove mail from my mailbox. I told him he only gets paid to put mail in my mailbox. He displayed anger towards me and stated multiple times he was going to close my box. I did nothing to deserve that. He violated my rights as a customet on many different levels. For starters there was no reason for him to have my mail in his possession apart from placing my mail in my mailbox. Another strange agenda is cancelling my box all due to I disagreed with him possessing my mail in such a manor. Shortly after exiting yhis store on 12/13/2016, I spoke with ups store franchise toll free number and lodged a complaint against him for his actions in the store. Now, today, 12/15/2016, I received an email from him and I guess his wife. In the email they were cancelling my box. Be forewarned, this ups store location owner Steve Grodahl does not treat handicapped people, such as myself, refuses to treat handicapped people in wheelchairs with dignity. In fact, it seems to me, based off his actions that he is deliberately trying to incite disagreements with handicapped people in order to make it seem like the handicapped person is breaking the contractual agreement that is signed by all ups store customers when opening a box. If he has problems with handicapped people, he needs to put a sign at this store's entrance that states handicapped prople are not wanted in the store. Because based off his actions over yhe past couple of days, that is what it seems like to me, a handicapped person. If a nonhandicapped person with two legs disagrees with him on anything, has he or will he tell the paying nonhandicapped person he is going to close their box. He took his poor actions too far. He apparently treats customers like the customers work for him, not the other way around. I have paid for a box. I was not the one that initiated the disagreement, he is. It seems really strange that he knows how I feel about having my belongins handled by someone else, yet on 12/13/2016, he was in possession of my mail. He did the same angry storming off like he did a couple of weeks ago. read more
