Terrible experience, and not the first time. I had a Happy Return to make on behalf of someone else, and I am familiar with the standard process. I had a question about how he had verified the items, because he didn't follow the usual steps. The staffer first blatantly lied to me, saying he'd looked at the items; then he refused to scan barcodes (a routine part of the process); and then he insulted me. Lastly, when I asked for my items back so I could go somewhere else to make the return, he assured me he'd given me everything, but he hadn't. (Another staffer finally stepped in to help find the missing item.) I have worked retail and healthcare, and I treat workers with respect. This staffer should not be in a public-facing role. I will not be going back to this store. read more

Brought a package for a client that needed to get to New Orleans before the 29th Dec... Brought in on the 23rd - paid for 3 day shipping that they guaranteed to get it there on Saturday for $61!!!! I paid, for a client. Turns out they already knew it wouldn't arrive - came on Monday, which was too late. They flew out for their meeting without the materials they needed. Frustrating. I will never use this location again - they are not truthful. Many other locations that are fully up front on what they can and can't do.... beware everyone!!! read more

Been to this shop a few times. I'm always impressed with their service and professionalism. You walk in the door and the manager immediately heads to the counter from her task in the back room to help you (the other staff was already helping another customer). Another time I was moving slow, with a walking stick, due to a bad back, and the manager immediately instructed her staff to carry the heavy package I was picking up out to my car for me. I get the impression this shop is run by a hard working immigrant family. If so, good on them. Come to America, work hard, pull your weight. That is how it's done. Glad to have them here. Weird that there are only 5 and 1 star reviews for this shop. Makes me wonder if the 1 star reviews were for a different shop. read more

This store is a real gem. It offers most if not all services of U S Postal Service Office without the lines and sometime interminable waits plus it offers other services such as packaging and boxes. They will for a fee actually do the packaging themselves. They also sell office supplies and have a nice selection of greeting cards. In addition to mailing packages via UPS, you can also buy stamps and send U S mail. There are copying machines available. There is a parking lot next door on 50 th and York which is very convenient. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I much prefer using the U P S store rather than a U S P S Office. I had a number of items with prepaid U P S stickers which I needed to ship during the pandemic and they were very helpful in enabling a contact free transaction. I don't think I could have done this at U S P S Office. I really appreciated this transaction. read more

UPS has really gone down hill. I get that delivery services are busy but I really needed to get a package delivered from Minneapolis to St. Louis. I brought it to the UPS store at 12:30 on a Friday and the package needed to be at a commercial address sometime on Monday. Of course UPS charged me over $120 for Next Day Air service. I really needed the package to be sent so paid the money - and, was assured that the delivery was guaranteed. And then I waited. And waited. And waited. The package wasn't delivered to its destination late the next Tuesday. Since UPS provided $20 ground service and charged me for Air service, I asked for a refund. They assured me that even though they charged me for premium service no refunds were allowed. When I questioned further, they looked up the package and showed that the package didn't leave the UPS store until Saturday so it really wasn't late at all. So I brought the package in on Friday early afternoon and they were saying that it's my responsibility that it took UPS 28 hours for them to move a 1 pound box from the front of the store to a truck in back. And they were very rude but accused me of being rude because I had the audacity to question why it should be my fault that it takes 28 hours to load their truck. STINKO service! I will never use this store again. read more

The customer service here is amazing. I was struggling to get to the door with four different packages, and the employee literally ran to the door to help me out. Everyone is always very pleasant and helpful. I forgot to print out one of the return labels, and they were super helpful and had me email it to them and they printed it out for me. I even attached it to the package. He praised me for bringing my own tape, and still help me tape up all of my packages. I wish I had gotten the name of this employee, because he really made a big difference. read more

We have a family-heirloom quality dollhouse I needed to ship from Mpls. to Ft. Collins, CO. The dollhouse is quite large and presented a real challenge to transport. The fact that it is a family heirloom made this project even more delicate and fragile. Jim, Justin and the whole staff at the UPS Store at 3109 W. 50th St. could not have been more attentive, concerned and engaged in this project! The personal care and attention to detail that was given to this project made it seem as though they were shipping their very own dollhouse. Jim talked to me at great length regarding the packing options he considered for the best possible result. He kept me posted on the progress and made sure the proper receipt and shipping acknowledgement was sent in the most timely manner. The dollhouse arrived at my son's home in Perfect Condition! My grandchildren were over-the-moon surprised and excited as they unpacked and unveiled this prize. I can't thank the staff at this UPS Store enough for the TLC packed into this very special package. So tonight was the first and last time I will go to this store. Not only was the girl extremely rude, but she was the only person in there and the store was a mess with packages all over the place. I went to mail out a money order. When I tell the girl, she rudely says "are you gonna put it in something? And proceeded to text on her phone. I explained that other UPS stores usually provide the envelope. She says "well I don't know nothing about that". She kept disappearing into the back to use her phone and there was no sense of urgency and seriously lacked customer service skills. Perhaps she was having a bad day. The customer service here is terrible. I'm only given it one star because that's my only option. I dropped off a package to the store last Thursday. I just called the UPS customer service they said the package has not been picked up from this location and to contact the store to see what happened. I just called the store, a man answered answer the phone stated sometimes packages get lost in the back of their store. As he placed me on hold he comes back in a minute or two later & said he doesn't see there the package there and that I will need to contact UPS for my lost package. I stated I needed to talk to a manager because it makes no sense, packages don't just disappear. He literally passes the phone to someone who claims they are the manager gets on the phone hostile at this time he states the package is picked up I asked him why didn't the other gentleman tell me that and why is it in the tracking service with my tracking number. To make a long story short packages don't disappear people take them or do stuff with them. I would never go to the store again I have never had a package disappear. UPS should stop their contract with them. As I'm on the phone with the manager he hangs up with me I literally call right back because I want the owners number to let him know how his workers are treating customers. When I call back the gentleman reads my name on the caller ID like I'm scared. I have done nothing wrong. They have a business there and I drop my package off to be delivered and it disappeared. WOW WHAT A JOKE! If this is how they do business trust and believe they won't be open long!! read more
