I'm concerned with the lack of intentional care and knowledge seeking at this location presented early on. I share that because I came in requesting information and assistance. There is a difference between simply not knowing and adequately trying to "follow-up" to find the answer or help in the best way possible vs. being dismissive with no sense of urgency and/or interest in being solution based. A customer actually had to intervene from another line to provide some information as she overheard the challenge. This was a random act of kindness after I was met with what I would describe as a rude demeanor from the manager. He came in upset, I tried to extend grace but after a few moments, he still didn't seem to be guest centered. There was an employee by the name of Tricey (T) that was very helpful in seeking out the answers in which she could. Her professionalism, energy and bubbly personality was engaging with every guest that came in, including a package handler. It's challenging to be met in a dismissive and not so kind way when seeking answers that may already come with a level of anxiety and/or confusion. Also, connecting to the Starbucks wi-fi isn't the strongest when trying to print and/or obtain documents. But if it's not public wi-fi in the establishment, understandable. When I asked, I was told to connect to the neighboring Starbucks. I remained patient, got the information I needed and thanked the 3 employees present. The male customer service representative working there on 12/11/24 has the worst attitude. He doesn't greet anyone. He couldn't scan the Amazon scan code on my phone and then told me that he wouldn't be able to scan it because it was too large. I thought that was ridiculous so I had him scan it again and then it scanned. Also, I hadn't taped the box that I wanted delivered, so he actually asked me to buy AN ENTIRE TAPE ROLL TO TAPE JUST THE ENDS. And, then, he was reluctant to tape the box with his own tape. This place is so convenient for me. I have a Nespresso coffee maker and the pods are recyclable. Nespresso give you free recycle bags with pre paid postage- all I have to do is pop into the UPS store and drop it off. This place could get a 5 out of 5 if it wasn't because they have a silly (not to say stupid) rule about printing documents. For example you have a document on your email and want to print it. This specific UPS store doesn't have a company email where you can send the document so they may print and you pay for the printing. What they have is a slow computer with internet which they rent at $5 pee hour (the charge the $5 regardless if you use it the whole hour or not) then you can hit print and additionally pay for the printing. So of course if I need a document to be printed I don't mind paying the fee but it is an inefficient way to conduct business. Anyway on the other hand they are awesome when it comes to returning approved Amazon items with a code, now that is a quick, cool, impressive and efficient way to conduct business! Other than that they got notary services, sell greeting cards, send packages, they got mailboxes and other services. Their staff is nice and provide caring costumer service. read more

Arrived to drop a package off to be returned to Amazon using return code. Brought the package in the box. Lady asked me if I had tape, since package was not taped up. I said no and she said she would help me this time but for future times ensure the package is taped up and secured already. From day one the customer service has been awful here, for a newer "veteran" owned business it is so disappointing, you'd think they'd put some effort into being grated for your business. I would give zero stars if it would let me. You are never greeted with a pleasant attitude, it's more like you are bothering them. I have used this location many times for Amazon drop offs. I went today to do another and apparently this return needed a box. I expressed surprise because I hadn't ever had an Amazon return that needed a box . I asked to step off for a second to double check if maybe I'd chosen the wrong return option. I came back to the counter and asked what the cheapest box they had was, the cashier walked away without speaking to me and grabbed a box. A very obviously used one. I made the comment that it was funny because last week I did a drop off and actually left the box it came in here. I then thanked them and said I really appreciated the box. She barely acknowledged me and just held out the scanner to scan my barcode. The other cashier said "Not to be rude but next time you should read it carefully because we're not getting compensated for the packaging." I was very rude and I said I'd be happy to buy a box from you. They said no it's fine but for next time. I thanked the cashier helping me again, with very irritated acknowledgment. It was embarrassing and more irritating because I asked to pay for a box, was given a box that someone else clearly left, then was shamed for it. read more

The worst customer service and shipping. The fact that there is only one employee working during Christmas season makes no sense to me. Over a hundred dollars in fees and UPS sends our packages to the wrong address. We asked for a refund only to have the manager decline to refund anything. Instead he tried to correct the shipment remotely only to find out they did it again. Almost two weeks later we retrieved our packages and decided to use FedEx. It's a shame we had to pay twice for services UPS got paid for. I will never use UPS again and FedEx acquired a new customer. read more

I had a time sensitive package that was returned to the store on 10/31/2019 and nobody had the courtesy to call me. I had to call the 1-800 number on 11/4/2019 since the tracking system was not giving me any information as to where my package was. That is when the 1-800 representative told me my package was return to the store on 10/31/2019. I called the store after hanging up with the 1-800 rep. and the guy who answered the phone could not help me because according to him he was the only one in the store. Shortly after my call I stopped by the store and there were 4 people working at that time. I don't like to be lied to. On top of the lie, they couldn't find my package. After waiting 15 minutes they finally found the package and I asked why nobody called me knowing that the envelop showed urgent. They showed no remorse, no importance, no empathy. If I pay for prompt service I expect prompt results. I know I will never use their service again. I will go FedEx or US Postal Service (they Guarantee their services) and is cheaper that UPS. I was disappointed with my visit here recently. It is a brand new store and I had high hopes for the customer service. My husband and I are moving and we dropped off our direct tv and at&t receivers to have them shipped. Ups has a contract with at and t and knows exactly what to do. The gentleman that helped me was very passive aggressive and quite rough with the equipment, in my opinion. AT&T sent me a barcode through the mail to send back my with receivers and we were almost through with our transaction and I asked him if I needed to put the barcode in the package as well, in which he rudely replied "I mean if you want you can put it in there." in a condescending tone. I was HIGHLY dissatisfied with this customer service and do not recommend this particular UPS to anyone. There are multiple around El Paso and this specific one does not deserve anyone's business. If you live in the area, I highly suggest Postal Annex right across the street from Albertsons, in the Walgreens parking lot. read more

The employee here stole my package. I had a drop off and went to drop my package off in a hurry. There was a little bit of a line so I dropped it to the side. To which the employee said a 30 second speech about how they are not liable if I don't get a receipt for the package. This in itself was a little awkward to hear and the way he said it. The other people seemed to laugh it off a bit. I should have just taken my package and left but didn't. I will not go to this location again and think whoever reads this shouldn't either. Your call. My review may be a little one-sided because I have only dropped packages off here and bought postage once or twice. There is a younger guy who seems to literally always be the lone employee working here on the random times I have dropped by. He is nice so I personally have had no issues with customer service. Transactions have always been quick and there is rarely a line. The store is in a strip mall off Dyer Street tucked in between a Media Exchange and a Little Caesar's Pizza. It smells like pizza inside the UPS store. The a/c does not ever seem to be on or at a low enough temp which makes it incredibly stuffy inside as well. It is not the nicest location. The outside and in looks a bit beaten up. There are always at least one sketchy character walking through the parking lot or nearby. Are UPS prices inflated? Yes and no. It honestly depends on the service, convenience, and reliability of delivery you are after. Again, I can only attest to easy drop-off and reasonable large package postage in which I have had no issues with either service. read more

I've been to this UPS store twice I have always gone for years. Recently when I went I was turned away because the system was down so OK the next day I went there system was not down and they said that my spectrum boxes that I was trying to return did not bring up a number but I had a feeling they were just trying to get rid of me I called spectrum and they told me that not being able to scan the numbers was strange. Anyhow I went to a UPS store on the west side(Resler) and the guy took the time to look at all the numbers and he was able to find them and was able to take in my spectrum boxes. The store was HOT! Very HOT! How can anyone stand to be inside this store for more than a minute. I was going to use the computer there today. But no way am I going to be in such a HOT place.
