This is probably one of the friendliest stores I've been in. Everyone is extremely nice and welcoming! I only had big bills on me and made a tiny purchase of 11 cents and they allowed me to come back with more appropriate bills to pay. They also gave me free tape to attach my labels to the boxes!! I use this place frequently. I use them to return Amazon packages with no problems. However, when I used their mailing services, they did not know how to process my request, going so far as to tell me this is the only option. When I went in today to track, they told I did it wrong and there was no tracking. So, I have $20,000 worth of checks floating around out there somewhere. Thanks for your professional attitude. If I could give this UPS establishment 1 Million negative stars then I would. Where is the real management or store owners at this business? From my recent experience over the weekend, I felt like there was none! The notary service here was very much an unpleasant experience and just very unhinged. The website quotes notary services to be $5 per document. We were quoted several different prices to sign one document. One of them being $10, but in the end we paid $20 for one document and was provided no receipt for signing, which was very crooked and odd behavior. The older lady with curly short hair, which I am assuming is Mrs. D from other reviewers, that does notary service in this store acts very loud, obnoxious, senile, and condescending. She thinks that she is a comedian, but her "jokes" are just outright abusive and disgusting. Even though the UPS center is small, the whole store should not have to be in my personal transaction business. Where is the real CUSTOMER SERVICE support in this place? I am sure if she were to be served at another establishment she would not want to be treated that way. I will never return or deal with this store ever again for my serious shipping or notary needs because I want real PROFESIONALISM. If she is the one that owns or manages this store then don't even bother asking me to call or email more about this experience because I know for sure nothing will be done about it. read more

They don't need your business, they're too busy on their phones. I was the only person in the store today and both workers at the counter were on their phones the whole time. I asked if a notary was available and was told yes. I was directed to a counter space and got all my papers and ID out. I stood at the counter waiting and waiting. After several minutes the counter help walked into the back as if he was going to get someone. He returned a few seconds later and without saying a word, he resumed playing on his cell. Still no one came to help me. I waited several more minutes and then started to pack up my papers and ID. The counter worker looked up at me as I started to walk away and mother was said, so I walked out. ⁩ ⁩ I IThe absolute worst experience ever in my entire 50 years of life!!! Ms. Devora (sp) was asked to notarize ent for me as she is the only notary on site. She grabbed my papers aggressively so I looked at her hoping she will catch the hint as that was unacceptable. She says in a very nasty tone "well I have to know what I'm signing!" Ok cool. Next, she asked and I heard her clearly say I need an ID for all the names you have here. Mind you it was just my married name and my maiden name. Take into account that I kept my maiden name and just added my married name...smh. She then says we'll who are all theses people? Again, it was two names!!!! I show her my ID and thank God I have my maiden name on it. She checks it and places it on the counter (that's something else that burns my nerves. If I handed you something, you hand it back). Throws the pen down...no I'll just get another pen dear. She notarized it and I brought it to her attention that it says commission number as well. Instead of speaking to me in the tone I spoke to her in she yells "I DONT HAVE TO GIVE YOU MY COMMISSION NUMBER!!" By then I'm burning up inside and I say "Ma'am, what am I going to do with your commission number because I have my own?". Yes I'm a notary as well. She just continues to yell across the store like she's crazy!!! I finished mailing my item with a nice gentleman named David. I don't give a dang if I have to drive 100 miles to do business with another UPS store, I'll never ever set foot back in this one!!! I have to say, that this store was not the first one I intended to ship a package to from Texas. I originally called a store that has Westwood in the name. It was closer for my Army soldier to get to from Post and I was shipping him his Army dress uniform. I called the other place this morning and was informed by an employee that they accepted packages shipped their to soldier's who did not have a rented mail box. The employee then informed me that I could send it directly to the UPS store on Post at Fort Bragg. I packaged up the Pinks & Greens and with a heavy box (24lbs), was going to ship the Army dress uniform to Ft. Bragg on Post UPS store. However, the associate at my local store could not get the physical address to pop up as written on the website. I almost said, never mind, just send it to the next closest one, which is the one with Westwood in their name, as I had just spoken with them earlier. Then, on a hunch, I elected to call the on Post UPS store number, which routed me to the Westwood store. Thank God for that call. The employee that I spoke with the second time said that I could not send the package of the dress uniform to an Army soldier at their store. I stated that earlier an employee told me I could for a fee of $20 that the soldier would pay at pick up. He told me that they charged that fee in order to dissuade people from mailing packages there. So you do or don't allow packages? Obviously if you are charging fees, as your employee stated, you do allow it. But, he confirmed with the manager that they would just return to sender. If I had not had the hunch to call the on Post store, I would have spent 3 figures and my Army soldier's uniform would have been returned, despite an employee telling me I could send it. Standing there in my local store, I then googled for another location and The Northgate store on Ramsey St popped up and I called. Ava took my call and was SO very helpful. Absolutely I could send my soldier's dress uniform to that UPS location. In fact, she took his name and number and will be looking for its arrival when it gets there on the day I told her. Normally, I just ship things to his barracks but due to the very high cost of the complete dress uniform and the time frame it needed to arrive in, I felt more comfortable being able to insure it and have a tracking number. This store does charge a convenience fee for those without a rented mail box and it is totally worth it for the peace of mind that my soldier will get his dress uniform in the time that he needs to have it and it arrives safely/can be tracked. Slowest services I have ever experience. Save time and ship from a different store !!

This is the worst UPS store I have ever done business with. Not only did the store somehow manage to lose my package by not scanning it, their investigation will take 8 days before they decide whether they messed up. Also, the woman I spoke with on the phone was rather rude when I asked who I can speak with regarding a refund for shipping costs . So they managed to charge my husband for shipping , lost the package, and now make us wait for them to find it and we " might" get our money back for shipping . Funny this is...this was going from one UPS facility to another and somehow they managed to " forget " to scan the package . I'm usually pretty patient with postal services but DONT GO TO THIS ONE . Take your business elsewhere if possible. And I see that that just as another reviewer stated, this FRANCHISE is pointing the finger at someone else. I called the store meant to receive the package and customer service and everything point to this store. You can say you're a franchise and this isn't on you but the company and other stores points directly back to you. Instead of saying I'm very mistaken, maybe be a little nicer to distraught young women who lost their marriage license shipped out of YOUR store. read more

Military discount on certain services and UPS Ground shipping. Also AAA discount (one or other, not both). I recommend sending international items through a different shipping service, especially for APO. I have been intermittently, incorrectly overcharged for APO shipments. For example, an APO package going to New York is charged an international rate instead Domestic rate. This is wrong and at least one employee at this location will not charge correctly and will not understand the problem. Friendly, small-town feel to service here. Plan to be remembered and appreciated as a customer, but know when you need to go somewhere else for certain shipments. read more

I mail a lot of packages and cannot stand going to the post offices in Fayetteville. If I can't go to the post office on Fort Bragg...I'll just wait until I can go on Fort Bragg. Unexpectedly, I found this UPS Store which is close to my house. I am not sure how long or if every UPS Store does this, but you can also ship packages via USPS at the UPS. There is a surcharge, but it is minimal. The place is clean and ran like a business unlike the USPS. :) The second time I stopped in, the clerk was very s-l-o-w. I would cut him a little more slack, but he was just chatting with the other customer. He can chat all he wants as long as he is working to quickly get me out of the store. The cleanliness and convenience far exceed any minimal extra fee. All in all, A-OK. read more

I am a frequent customer at the Fayetteville location (#2842) and I've noticed some changes in personnel and customer service since the end of October 2022. Prior to October I noticed that the staff appeared to be overworked and a bit frustrated. The only constant was (Manager/Asst Manager) Lenora. I saw that she was doing her best to accommodate the customers while assisting the staff in the various questions that arose. I have always found her to be patient and helpful but I could tell she was overwhelmed. I visited the store at the end of October and I saw some new and friendly faces, the store appeared less cluttered and more professional. I can't help but think there has been a change initiated by the corporate office or a change in ownership; whatever occurred it has been a noticeable and welcomed improvement. Again, the only staple has been Lenora and I can't help but think that she played a factor in stabilizing and improving the store as her knowledge and service has always been impeccable. As a former auditor/investigator I am keenly aware of the changes in the stores I frequent and this location has improved in various areas and I'd like to commend Lenora and whatever "behind the scenes" efforts were done at the end of 2022 because the store has shown significant improvement. read more

Went to the store and had an amazing experience. The employs there were courteous, fast, and efficient. They boxed up a package I needed to ship and did it with great speed and care. Later I needed to call them back to get the tracking number because I had misplaced the receipt and within a matter of seconds the employee had tracked the package for me. Great place! read more

Terrible customer service. Asked for a box and the cashier totally dismissed my request and walked off. Very rude and I will not be back.

I am not a big fan of UPS or its services. They always over promise and under deliver. I have a business contract account with them for pick up and delivery. Yet I still wind up coming here for package drop off. It has now happened three times that I have dropped off a overnight envelope going to California and it was not picked up from this location. I have heard the excuse that the driver came early for pick up. They forgot to scan the envelope. It was lost at station. Really!!! I know that UPS stores are franchise stores but I never had this problem at my other locations. In contacting UPS they say it's the store. The store said it's the station. It is not worth the hassle. Now I just put it in a drop box and magic...it gets picked up. Guess it was the store after all! read more

The UPS in Hope Mills is a nightmare, constantly losing and delivery packages to the wrong address. Their drivers do not care, the supervisors have no diligence in locating lost packages. I have tracked several packages on different occasions on line, with updates stating package was DELIVERED, HOWEVER THEY WERE NOT !! The odds of getting your package is like flipping a. If a NO STAR OPTION was available that is what this location would get. With reading all of the decent reviews they do have, I guess those customers caught these owners at a good time or on a good day. When you go into a business, you expect to be waited on and not feel like you are inconveniencing the owners/employees. I had to get something printed, the file came out pixelated and when I asked for advice... the OWNER began saying "I DON'T KNOW, I DON'T KNOW!" over and over. Look, I get that working with customers day in and day out can be frustrating and necessarily not put you in a good mood.... BUT just because one customer upset you, don't take it out on one who has been utilizing your business for years. OR God forbid you have to work up to 6:30 pm and I walked in at 6:05 pm for service.. AND this is not the first time that we have received poor service here. Fortunately for you, your shop is close and beats a trip across town to Morganton Road. Now I am going to make that glorious trip to Fedex Kinko's to do business. If it is the public you can not deal with, Let me give you some advice today since you couldn't help me out.....get a job behind a computer screen because face to face interaction is not your strong suite.
