Imagine walking up the store and being 15 feet from the door as the clerk watch's your approach and slowly locks the door as you reach for the handle. I am a certain there is some comical relief and relying that to your friends later - but as a customer I find it overwhelming disrespectful. The UPS Website says open until 7pm. For some reason 630pm is the NEW closing time. So a 10 mile drive, find a place to park, get all the stuff ready to ship and watch the door locked in front of you. Let's not ignoring you as you stare through the glass and eventually yelled at "new COVID hours" and "weopen tomorrow at 9" and then they go back to pretending you don't exist. Literally all I needed to was hand them a pre paid package. Would have taken 30 seconds. UPS - hire some decent folks. Garbage at this location. Update: so I revisited the store during the regular store hours. I wanted to go to another store but it was far away. When I arrived there was a very long line and I thought "great, another reason why I was right to be so hard on them the day before". I really didn't want to have to use this location again. However, the staff was working without issues and being attentive to customers. One clerk saw my lengthy returns and walked me inside to what I assume is an amazon express lane - it took about 5 mins to return it all as I had the forms on hand. I retract my experience from the day before and raise it to a 3. I needed a mailer package and it took about 15 mins to pay for a $1.50 item. Too long but I don't think they staff was intentionally moving slow - just accommodating customers. Not bad . read more

This business has always been top notch, but I have to say that since they changed ownership a couple months ago, things have gone downhill quickly. All the employees that have been there for years are no longer there. The new people are totally inexperienced and seem like they have no desire to serve you or seem not to care if they are employed at all. Mail is never in the boxes and the excuses have been "the person responsible to put it in the box is off today", "we've just been too busy to get to it", "it's already been put in the boxes; you must not have gotten any." How hard can it be to look at an address and match that address with the number on the box? Do you have to take a special test or get a degree in Mailbox Management? Get it together new owners! if I could give them a zero, I would! Terrible encounter with rude customer service agent Mark. He's unprofessional, but I would soon learn that is a requirement for that location UPS employees. After providing all necessary information to mail my package to include spelling and numbers, the information was either incorrect or not there at all. Mark became frustrated and even more shirt with his interaction with me. I asked to finish the transaction then finish my last 2 with someone else. I then asked to speak with a manager, and the reply was that there was not one there I asked to speak to someone more senior, and I was instructed no one was available.I hen asked to speak to the older white woman who'd serviced me before, I can only speculate that she refused to come out because two other employees came out, asking to leave my name and phone number. Their demeanors were very defensive to include the little girl with all the piercings in her face and the age white man with the shaggy bob hairstyle. I asked for clarification on certain procedures in which I was never provided an answer but was told that they were refusing to service me and asked me to leave. I felt the integrity of my package may become an issue and asked for my package to be returned to me and postage refunded. The aged shaggy bob hairstyled guy informed me that I could not get a refund and I would have to wait until the manager returned in a couple hours or whenever. I have to say, not one time did I raise my voice for the disrespectful to any of the staff I was nearly there to mail my packages and after the negative interaction with Mark I wanted to inform the manager of my interaction from a customer's perspective. I completely understand that people have that days, but just no need to take it out on the customer. I am paying for service. It is not being provided free to me and that's all I simply wanted to convey to management. The fact that the owner which is the older white lady was hiding behind the wall and refused to come out to speak to me, demonstrated that she is fully aware of how her staff conduct themselves in a professional manner. I needed to contact enforcement to have them come out and ask for the return of my package in which the same shaggy bob hairstyle guy who had informed me that I was not able to get a refund...conducted my refund and returned my package without any further incident. Have attended this store several occasions and witness the same behavior Mark provided me today with other customers so I know that this was not a rare occurrence. I always come to this location, considering it's the closest location to me. This is the first time I have a very unpleasant experience. I came in with an Amazon return and placed the item I was returning back in its original amazon packaging which I've always done and she asked me to take it out because she says she didn't need the box, so I'm struggling to get the box opened because the tape was very strong so I asked to borrow her scissors and even with the scissors it was extremely hard to get the box to open so she tells me to put the scissors back because she has a box opener. I just don't understand why she couldn't just use the boxer opener from the start. And as I'm proceeding to leave she goes ma'm take your box like she couldn't just throw it out. Just had the absolute worse experience in this UPS. I went in with a amazon echo show that I needed to return. I didn't have a box or the UPS printed label (reason why I even went into a UPS). I went in and asked for them to box it and print my label for me. They boxed it for $5 something and refused to print the label for me. I asked the individual who was helping me if I could send them the label via email so they could print it. The sassy attitude I got for this individual was ridiculous. I was even prepared to pay for the 1 copy of the label I needed. Anyways, they boxed it and I will not be returning to this UPS due to their poor customer service. UPDATE: right after this I went to another UPS store and the employees not only printed the label I needed, BUT also did it for FREE and with a SMILE on their face AND they even offered me a military discount without me asking for one. I did not wait in the long line bc my package already had a label on it and the lady told me to leave it there. Today, at 11:59 CST I called the Westwood Shopping Center Store about having an Army soldier's dress uniform mailed to their store and that this soldier did not rent a mail box from said store. I was informed by the worker, a polite young man whose name I did not catch, that yes, shipping a package for a soldier to their store was permitted and that there would be a convenience fee of $20 when the soldier came to pick up the package. The nice young man went on to tell me that there was a UPS store on Post and I could also send it there. This option would be very convenient for the soldier not to have to leave Post to pick up the package. The employee did not have the specific address but gave me the name of the road where the UPS store was located on Post. A quick look up on the UPS website gave me all of the information. I took my package to my local shipping store here in TX and when the associate input the on Post UPS address, the system was not recognizing it. So, I made a call to the number listed for the on Post UPS store. That number routes over to the Westwood Shopping Center store. I spoke with another employee there who informed me that I could NOT send the Army soldier's dress uniform (24lb package and insured for the cost of the uniform) to their store if he did not have a rented mail box and if a package arrived in a name without a rented box, they would return to sender. I mentioned that their employee earlier told me it was allowed. He then talked to another person in the store and came back to t ell me that no, it was not allowed and had just confirmed with the manager. When I mentioned it again that the prior young man obviously had incorrect information about shipping to the store and charging the convenience fee, the employee said that they did that as a deterrent so people wouldn't ship their packages there. So which is it? I am SO glad I made the call to the on Post number. If I had not chosen to call, since the address wasn't working, my next plan was going to be to ship the Army dress uniform to the Westwood Shopping Center store as the first employee had told me was ok to do. What a very, very expensive and colossal failure that would have been for the soldier to get his dress pinks & greens in time. There is zero confidence in this store that you will get the right or truthful information. They should do better. But they won't. Everything that goes to the on Post UPS store is filtered through the Westwood store and its the same owner for both. I wonder why the employee or his manager didn't recommend shipping UPS to the barracks and that way, it would end up at the UPS store on Post or delivered to the soldier (thought of that after I got home and having it shipped to a different UPS store). Unhelpful employee and manager. Thanks, guys. I get that it is about the $ and only wanting packages of contracted customers, when other UPS stores care about customers and our Army men and women. We have been traveling and using UPS boxes to receive our mail and have it forwarded to us. The Westwood Shopping Ctr in Fayetteville has been the most difficult. The clerk gave my truck driver a receipt with a totally different tracking number for a box delivered in Philadelphia, PA and when I called to get some help trying to find the correct box, the manager, who was extremely rude and unhelpful. However, the last time was what determined that I will not be returning to this location. It was a bit after 6pm and the line was to the door. Let me state this outright, I was all kinds of pissed off at this place. I had a package shipped to me by an ebay seller and it arrived damaged. The store wouldn't talk to me, UPS wouldn't talk to me, and the damage process took FOREVER (I write this at the end of August and this all started in April). Let me state this outright: the store owner did me a major solid as this goes. Story short as possible: I bought a pair of taillights, and one of them was damaged in transit. After MONTHS of submitting paperwork, proof of purchase etc etc and so on, UPS finally decides that since only one light was damaged, they'd only agree to pay for the one light. Because, you know, that does me a lot of good for an item that is only sold in friggin pairs. So now my 600 dollar purchase has cost me 300 dollars (not that they've given back the damaged lights either of course) - which means I've only gotten back half the price: so I can't even purchase a replacement. The UPS Store Owner, who I admit I had railed on quite a bit, took it upon himself to refund me the other half of my purchase price personally, because it was the right thing to do. He didn't have to do it, he could have blown the whole thing off altogether....but he didn't, and for that I am grateful. Owner is a stand up dude. UPS Corporate hung him out to dry, and he STILL went the extra mile to make sure the "right" thing happened. I am very grateful for this, especially when UPS corporate gave me nothing but the run around. After this experience I will NEVER use UPS again, but if I'm in the area i'll certainly stop by this non corporate owned store to give Stephen a hearty handshake and buy him a beer. Do not ever use UPS!! They do not honor their delivery timeline! 3 day delivery is now 6 days. No one answers their customer service number, and how does this make any sense, the package originated in Illinois, got shipped to Colorado, then California, then they shipped it back to KENTUCKY!! For a package to California!!! I tried to send perishable desserts to a family party and now if it even ever gets there, it will be 6 days!!!! And all the family will have left!!! I called customer service, the first one hung up cus he didn't know the answer, the other 3 all have different reasonings, all of them said there was nothing they could do, so I wasted 140$ for the package, not including the cost to ship thru them, and no dessert for party. First off, I NEVER WRITE REVIEWS.. but I must warn you all now so you don't go through what I had to endure. Therefore, I will advise that if you're in need of any marketing materials to either promote or advertise your business, or you need any kind of print/design/or graphics material (especially business cards and/ or flyers), save yourself now. Go elsewhere, DO NOT GO HERE!! Dealing with this guy that calls himself "Dave The Print Guy" was completely unprofessional and the experience was extremely frustrating. It took every bit of constraint left inside of me not to go off on this dude. It took nearly three weeks to finally get cards and flyers out of this guy. I ended up visiting this store at least eight times within that timeframe to inquire on the status of my order and every time I went there, Dave was either out to lunch, out sick, left work early for the day, or too busy to come out to speak with me, etc. Oh and by the way, he's the only person there that knows how to design and print things.. all the others just looked at me with that "deer in the headlights look" when I tried to talk to them about my order. Dave does not respond to emails, and he's not a man of his word. He told me plenty of times to my face that he would email me what I needed, but as soon as I left the store, I suppose he just said to hell with me. So I finally got lucky one day and got him on the phone and made him email all my designs while we were actively on the call, I wouldn't allow the conversation to end until I could confirm receipt of the email because I knew I would never get my materials once we got off the phone. He got upset, and started talking about how busy he was, and how he'll just stop what he was doing in order to give me what I'm asking for (in a sarcastic tone). DONE! Oh, and shout out to Fast Signs and Williams printing by the way. The experience at those two places were extremely professional and efficient.. take your business there, they'll get you squared away quicker and without the attitude and excuses. Today I took a package to return to the sender.... first off I NEVER send packages so I had no idea what I was doing. The staff are the rudest people I have ever dealt with. I didn't have the return address and she made sure I knew that I didn't know what I was doing. The girl said (in front of me) to the other employee,"she can go next door she's annoying". Worst UPS customer service I've ever experienced. Tall African-American gentleman, was extremely rude and unwilling to help. He hung up on my in the middle for asking to speak to someone else. I've been shipping with ups for roughly 8 years now and I think this guy does not belong in this store or representing this company. They were supposed to hold my package, which is medical supplier for sick mother until the 30th(according to the notes online, on the tracking, and on the package). This man also took the liberty to resend the package back to the manufacturer. This person has no regard for UPS customers and no respect to anyone talking to him. I will be filing a formal complaint again him/this store as well with BBB. Response: the package was a direct to Retail package I do not not need to have a mailbox with you to have that package shipped to your store. The package was signed for and held at your store for 2 days before this specific employee said he sent it back to the retailer. Not only was this employee not educated on how to handle a direct to retail package, but he was also not educated that these packages are actually held at facilities for 5-7 days after the denial of the package from the store since it's not a denial from the customer. I didn't ask the same question multiple times. I asked, why he took the liberty upon himself to send back a package your other employee signed for and left notes stating the package would be at your store for 7 days. I also did take the time to reach out to you and we spoke yesterday and you clearly stated your employee was in the wrong and he was not trained properly on how to handle a direct to retail package. read more

i was helped by Dennis the Menace! i was so relieved that UPS came to the rescue for my packing and shipping needs. i previously went to a Fedex down the street to get something shipped before i PCS and they told me it would be $98. i decided not to go with Fedex and try out this place. the quoted me $31 for the exact service Fedex was going to give me! i was so stoked to hear how much cheaper they were. the clerk i dealt with was very funny and made sure my product was safe and secure to ship. the facility was clean and i was overall satisfied with the services. i would always recommend this place to anyone looking to ship their personal belongings. read more
