I have been coming to this location for years and never had a problem returning returning items from Amazon. There used to be two friendly/ helpful employees working there who knew what they were doing and never had a problem helping me. Now, it seems like the owner of this particular store is the only employee there. He always has a huge line of customers waiting while he is helping a customer with some kind of detailed problem or whom requires elaborate time from the only employee working, he himself, the owner. Additionally, once he's able to help me he's extremely rude, unhelpful and abrasive! He never wants help anyone with an Amazon return. For some reason, he doesn't like doing the Amazon returns. They seem to annoy him so he makes it nearly impossible to complete a return. One time he said his scanner was broken, another time he told me I had to have everything packed taped and sealed when I approach the counter. This is funny to me because Amazon states you can do returns with the box or package unsealed and the UPS store will seal the package. The last straw was today when my husband and I were waiting in his extremely long line, as always, and we started chatting with the customer in front of us when he shouted at us to be quiet while he was helping the customer at the register. This was shockingly rude! I have never experienced such rudeness from a store owner in my life. I was very angered as was my husband, but we just turned around and walked out. The customer in front of us did the same. I don't know what planet this arrogant jerk is from but he has zero business class, let alone, class at all! He must be miserable in his life and takes his anger and frustrations out on his customers. I can see by the reviews that several others have experienced the same subpar customer service from him as well. I suggest, if you need to mail something via UPS do a scheduled pick up from your house with UPS directly or go to another UPS store location instead of being bullied by this guy. read more

Sean the manager/owner was so helpful and patient with me and my partner. We went there to use their Notary service and also fax. Sean was so kind and really took his time to explain the process. Everyone there too was so nice and very helpful. You can tell they have a good working environment because they seem very happy to be there and that reflects of their exceptional customer service. This UPS store is totally inconsiderate of the neighboring businesses....They insist on having cones to say "UPS Customer Only" and then allow the trucks to double park behind other spots with cars of those customers of the neighboring businesses....When asked to move, the UPS drivers cop an attitude saying we can park in the parking lot!.....After double parking behind me!....I'm a customer! Last Wednesday, I visited this location for a drop-off. I was told by Scott to purchase two UPS poly bag. I, of course, did not question and said yes to the purchase. He charged me total $9.67 (after tax) of two poly bag in order to put these two items for the return. I came back today to drop off an item for the return. As usual, Scott was working behind the counter with another man. Due to my experience from last Wednesday. I asked to purchase a poly bag for this drop off returning item. Scott worked on the computer for a minute and asked me to make a payment. I looked at the card reader and saw the total amount was over $14. I asked him why? He said this shoe box needed to be packed in a different box for return. I said to him that I was here last Wednesday and he never told me that but sold me two poly bag for the shipping return (one shoe box & a dress). He argued that it should be shipped with a box when purchased at his store. I said no, he was wrong and outraged for this kind of return shipping service. I walked out and went to UPS located in Irvine. I asked to purchase a poly bag and the person there said "your total is $.95". Why such a difference in service between two locations? Have you ever thought this Foothill location overcharged you? I will never come back to this store. read more

I have gone to this location several times in the last year and after this last visit I will not go back! I'm not sure what his position is in the store but his name is Scott (got it off the receipt). He has been the one who has waited on me the last three times and each time he was so unfriendly and rude. The last two times he said the same thing to me after I asked him what shipping method would cost the least amount. Quote "Go to the post office!" Wow! He never said thank you and he acted like I was bothering him by being there. I'm sure the owner would love to know that their employee is telling people to go to the post office. I walked in with my QR code ready to return a shoebox. The box the shoebox was going in was slightly bigger than the actual shoebox... Very small. The box wasn't sealed and he wanted to charge three dollars just for a piece of tape to close the box. At all of the other shipping centers I go to they have tape out for people to use to seal their boxes. I don't know if UPS can set their own charges at each store but this one definitely is greedy. read more

UPDATE: after discussing and sharing the reviews with neighbors and communities associations , a very concerning point was raised that this person is obviously emotionally disturbed and unstable ( aggressive behavior towards staff and customers, yelling and using abusive language) this business and staff CANNOT and SHOULD NOT be trusted with peoples sensitive informations such as addresses, names and contact information. Will be posting an update soon. The man behind the counter is definitely a huge liability to UPS brand and Foothill Ranch community. I walked in at 6:20pm to drop off 2 amazon returns and He told me he is not accepting any amazon packages because he will be late closing the store. There was no signs saying when the cut off for dropping packages is. I let him know your store hours says closed at 6:30pm and he replied ok... you are late. I asked him so are you refusing service and he said some nonsense. I filed an immediate complaint with UPS. I will also be following up with Better Business Bureau, the city and will do everything g in my power to let this man know this is not the way to operate a business and definitely not a proper way of treating customers and taking advantage of the people of the community. There are so many other reviews for the same issue and refusal of service within business hours and this can possibly lead to a class action. To the guy behind the store: How about you take your business elsewhere and let someone who deserve the spot move-in and you find something that doesn't make you feel miserable. If UPS doesn't want Amazon's business they should just say so. The owner of this business lectured me on how I needed to provide my Amazon return. He wouldn't accept my package and then yelled at me on the way out of the store and he obviously took pleasure in being rude and unhelpful. When is UPS going to get on board with customer service? I tried this store twice. Each time was a bad experience for me. The store has a highly controlled atmosphere. First time, I was told not to set down my package where I had placed it. Second time, an employee, who was doing a good job talking to us, was interrupted by the owner, who took over. Nonetheless, I am raising my rating of the store from a 1 to a 3. I am doing this because I am sure this store will get the job done for you, and maybe atmosphere is not the biggest issue for some people. But, I am also hoping the owner will see that he could have higher scores by being a little less controlling. read more

This UPS Store gets 2 stars instead of 1 because the will take my Amazon returns, and they are usually polite. But, they are particular, to the verge of discourtesy. They won't take Amazon returns with a mobile code after a certain time, at one point they charged $25 for packages not sealed with tape (it's supposed to be package-free) and today, they need the items separated because I have more than one return code. I came in with an Amazon package and a barcode. According to Amazon's instructions, ups was supposed to pack and label my package but that was not the case. I brought my package in the box that it came in but the employee tried to charge me for tape. When I told him it was an Amazon package that was supposed to be packaged by them, another gentleman who I presume to be the owner stepped in and started speaking to me in a patronizing tone, implying that I don't understand what his employee was saying because I don't understand English. English is my first language. Perhaps he said that because I am Asian-American, or possibly because I am a woman? Either way, I will not be coming to this location again. read more

I came in for notary services and to ship a small package with tracking. The manager Sean was very helpful and friendly, and made the process easy. I will be happy to return. My only complaint is that the pricing for shipping seems high at UPS compared to competing services, but that issue is UPS-wide and not specific to the service I received at this location. read more
