The store is situated in an old plaza with massive visibility by a congested intersection of Sunrise Blvd and US1. First time at this UPS Store to drop off an Amazon package return. The clerk quickly scanned my package and provided a tracking receipt. The store offers packing materials and mini mailboxes for a monthly fee. Very frustrating experience today at this UPS store. First of all, it's been my experience that they don't put the mail out some days into very late in the day. Today after nearly 6 months of going to this place, I checked to see if I needed to pay any rent. To my surprise what I thought was a six month rental with a three month free bonus turns out to have been, according to Brian Michaelson, the stone cold person doing something that can't possibly be called helping me, was a year. They had no paperwork with my signature or initial on it that said anything about a year, but showed me a computer screen that suggested a year and printed a receipt ostensibly from last October that also said that but this after 10 to 15 minutes of standing there talking to Brian so any teenager with an iPad could've produced those "records" in less time. I used this while I was in between the sale of one house and the purchase of the condo. At the time I didn't know how long it was going to be, and I imagined it would be 2 to 4 months. Turned out to be five, but there was no way in hell it was going to be a year and I would've never agreed to it. Furthermore, I later purchased an access fob, apparently for $30 fee that I assumed was a deposit. Stone cold Brian play dumb and at first wasn't sure how much the charge was for those and then said he wasn't sure he could do anything about refunding me for canceling the mailbox after six months or even giving me my $30 back for a fob, but I think I used twice and never intend to use again. Writing this is worth more than a $30 to me. I don't know if this is an actual scam that they're running, but it sure feels like that as a consumer, but they wouldn't refund anything, not even as a courtesy to offer me the $30 back for the fob is outrageous. I would not recommend this business to anyone. They're nowhere near as helpful as the FedEx Kinko's store. They have limited hours of access if you don't pay for a fob. And I'm telling you that they adopted friendly personalities when you're looking to rent and act either ignorant or just utterly unhelpful when you're looking to close out. They don't seem to be interested in any Goodwill and I don't think they deserve any. read more

I came into the store to drop off a package, but realized while there that I could also get a photo printed and laminated that I had been procrastinating about. Jeremy was incredibly helpful with how to send the photo, and how to get the best results. I had to leave for an appointment, but he had the job done when I got back, and recognized me even though they were remarkably busy. I really appreciate the help, and the service. A signature was required for my package which I am working and won't be able to sign for. I had it sent to the ups store on 1007 N Federal Hwy Ft Lauderdale. My tracking said ready for pick up. I took time off work to go get it. I was told although it's here they haven't scanned their large pile of boxes yet and I started losing hope of getting my box. Nani stepped up to the plate and dug through the large pile until she found my box. Thank you Nani ! I didnt have to lose more time and come back. I've been going here for years but noticed recently that they're employing just about anyone from the street. A few weeks ago one employee (a younger female) was talking really nasty behind a customer's back who left the store. Today I have this 20 year old kid (a male) give me an attitude. This location and the one I used to go to in Delray are night and day. I'll gladly spend the extra time to go to the other ft lauderdale location. This place has turned ghetto. read more

So disappointed. Had an appointment to have passport pictures taken. Got there. Stood in line .... A long time. And when we got to the front - oppsie. Camera is down - no we don't notify you even though we require appointment. Go somewhere more reliable. read more

Terrible! I went to return something that I had purchased from Amazon. Amazon listed UPS store as a return location. I went with my package and Amazon return receipt with QR code. I was informed that I had to pay almost $4.00 to return the item because they had to print the code. I was advised that if I had a printer at home that I can print the QR code and come back. I left and will never go back to that store. They are thieves!!! read more

hate to sound like a karen here but i cannot believe an employee was allowed to say these things about women out loud without one other employee commenting. I walked in at 6:56 on 4/5 (4 min before closing) & the man standing at the door waiting to lock it barely moved for me to go in, as i was making my returns at the amazon SELF-service machine at 7:03, he said loud enough for everyone to hear "i'm so sick of these b*tches forreal this sh*t is ridiculous". the other woman & i both making returns ignored him, and 2 minutes later he said again "b*tches, this sh*t is so selfish". i'm a bartender so i understand it's annoying when people come in close to closing, but i was serving myself and out by 7:10. is 10 minutes really worth calling us b*tches over? this employee was not wearing a name tag (i looked) but he was the slim-built black man with two braids. read more

I specifically asked her if it's a different notary than Sean in, will the price be the same and she said yes. The only reason this gets 2 starts is because the people who work here are nice. I paid more for my box here than any other UPS store in the country. They never had mail sorted the same day, lines were always extremely long waits and when I closed my box 3 days ago b/c I was fed up with them I had a package arrive the following day that they lost. They told me all packages would be held for 10 days. This is par for the course here . They need more staff and every body who waited in line with me every time I had to wait, agrees- Do NOT get a mailbox here. Use another location. How do you lose a package with tracking at a UPS store? Isn't that your job? read more
