I was able to walk in without an appointment to get a few signatures notarized. She was very friendly and the process was easy. My only issue is your using the table in the center of the room next to the customer service desk it can get a lil crowded and everyone can see your business if they really want to. So no privacy basically. It would be nice if there was a desk off to the side to be able to be out of the way of people trying to send off packages. Still a convenient place to get things notarized. I've also used them for sending packages as well. They have always been really good about that. $15 per notary signature so not bad. read more

{sigh} Since I work at a satellite office of our company and don't have access to all resources and staff at our main office, I would love to be able to depend on this shop. Unfortunately, it has proven to be inconsistent. UPS stores offer a variety of services, including having mailboxes, being a drop off site, and this one is two doors down from my office. Just about every employee I have encountered in the past three years has been friendly and helpful. Except the owner. I've had them handle mailing of large prints across the country and when I've had to track down details for a mailing, they've been great. But when I needed letters sent certified return receipt, the owner (I think), didn't know how to do it and said she'd have an employee help her when they returned for lunch. When I stopped by the next day for something else, my envelopes were still on the back counter. So now I just know in a similar situation, I have to follow up. Also, a few times I haven't been able to print in color, which is really annoying. The other disappointing thing about this store is they have only the bare minimum of supplies. So overall, I'll continue to come here because of convenience and the employees. Except the owner. read more

Then they call trying to take more money from me for a mailbox I cannot even use. I told the man on the phone about the situation and he quickly cut me off with "okay". Definitely love coming here everytime I have to drop off a package. The workers here are so friendly and polite always eager to help and provide excellent customer service. I have no complaints! Everytime I come I never wait long the longest I've waited would probably be less than 3mins which is super fast. The only con I would have to say is location even though it's close to my house I always still have to put it on GPS because of the confusing downtown one way roads. And also parking is metered. But I would definitely recommend this place. Nice friendly staff, and fast customer service. I definitely feel well taken care of when I drop my packages off there. And would NEVER treat a customer from the bat as rude as Liz Murray (the owner) treated me. I was already a bit irritable due to the fact that my return label was sent to a different address having the RIGHT address printed on the label. how? I don't know. lol mistakes happen, i understand especially during these busy times so close to the holidays but for it to happen twice? Well I decided to call the store to see what was going on because I just wanted my money back for a product I can't use because it wasn't my size. The UPS Store - Shipping Centers Near Me - Fresno, California

I went into this store on a Wednesday and sent a package what I thought was "overnight". I was charged $43 for this service which I thought was a lot of money. However, the important package that had a deadline of 24 hours took almost 48 hours to be delivered causing me a serious financial hardship. I went into the store expecting to be reimbursed since the 24 hour deadline promised was not met. The guy i spoke with was the same guy who assured me on Wednesday that my package would be delivered within the 24 hours. He argued that it was my fault not his that I didn't understand him clearly when i sent the package. I told him it was not my fault because i never would have paid $43 to send a package unless i had been assured it would be delivered within the 24 hours. I realized it would do no good to talk to him since he was so argumentative and refused to accept responsibility for the fact they clearly did not deliver what i pad for. He said his manager would be in Monday and that i could take it up with her. I will do this and give an update on how everything turns out. If I'm not reimbursed as I should e i will be taking furact I received a call from Ashley, the manager. Nicest person in the world. After investigation she determined I was entitled to a refund. She assured me the employees would be better trained so this problem wouldn't happen again. Absolute garbage customer service, i called after two weeks of waiting for my car computer to come back , come to find out it never moved from where it was dropped off. i was polite in my approach to gain some insight as to where the package is and described the day i brought two packages in for shipping . " the guy" that WAS helping me scanned both packages and gave me a receipt . when i called the lady said there was no guy that worked there on that date and that she couldn't help me with a hint of attitude because i actually came to the store to pursue the issue. now my 700$ car computer is just gone with no answers and no accountability. read more

This is one of the friendly ups stores and they're really close to work so I use them a lot. parking meters, but if you're going to be there for 5 minutes or less you can usually get away without paying. just park in the very front in case the guy drives up on you. I want whoever reads this to know that I have never been more displeased and disappointed with a business in my adult life, and that says a lot because I'm not looking for the places I patronize to necessarily please me. I realize I'm not the only customer and it's not their job to make me happy. I needed something notarized, it took a ton of orchestrating to arrange for that to happen. I had to have the deed prepared ($200) arrange for the current deed holder to meet with me and that's not to mention the work that went into explaining what I was doing to the other party. I called UPS twice on 12/31 and asked "is the notary available?" "What time does she leave?". Yes and 3:30 I got both times, the second time I called right before I left my house. Within that 10 minute drive from my house to The UPS store she decided to leave, even though she said she would be there. I relied on what she told me, I also depended on the UPS brand to be reliable. When I arrived the guy who was there told me that "it was slow so she left early" (I had been out there twice earlier that morning and both times there was a line at least 4 deep) but whatever, she has the right to leave early. But I think this is worth repeating, she told me she would be there, 10 minutes earlier. I get that there was really nothing he could do about her leaving, but when I shrugged my shoulders and said to him "well... what am I gonna do?" He ACTUALLY SAID "I don't know what you're going to do but you're not going to do it here". Oh no s**t, thanks, I'm guessing this is your first job because your customer service skills suck. And you just turned this into something else and you just made me remember that I wasted $200, wasted my time, but more importantly I risked my health to get this done, because it was that important. The document I needed to notarize had a sunset date of that day 12/31, and I'm not complaining about not getting my document notarized, its my bad for waiting till the last minute. But really that info is irrelevant because what my bi**h is about is the fact that UPS gave me bad information, that I relied on, that I put my faith in because you know, brand trust. UPS needs to do so much better. Wait THIS STORE and its sh**ty employees need to do better. read more

I went in to make copies of a 13 page black and white PDF. the copies ended up costing $21 and the quality was poor. I told the young lady that was too much, she informed me printing was $2 a page. Long story short I went to Office Depot made the same request, quality was phenomenal, I paid $2.39 for 13 black and white pages. .12 a sheet. I think this store needs to rethink how much they're charging to make prints. I went back to inform UPS STORE their printing prices were ridiculous I hope they figure it out. read more

I have a private mailbox at this location & believe it or not I live by Clovis East HS & I haven't changed my PMB to the UPS store that about 4-6 blocks away from my house cause I'd rather do the crosstown drive to downtown Fresno to stay at this store cause of how friendly & well organized the staff is here.... Yes back around a yr ago they had a lot of incompetent staffing/workers there I will admit & yes they were slow & needed to be able to pull their head outta their a$$ & actually do their job & do their job right the 1st time!!! But now all the new employees there have EXCELLENT customer service & try to help me out &/or do whatever I need done for my shipping, printing, &/or deliveries for my packages all for my personal business.. I've even had it before where I was running late due to traffic cause of an accident on the FWY & I was headed there cause I had important mail in my private mailbox & had multiple packages that were delivered there for me & when I called to let the gentleman who works the counter at the store and always works the swing/afternoon/early evening shift & normally closes up the shop told me DON'T worry about it & don't hurt yourself or others on the road trying to hall a$$ to make it here before we close cause I'll just wait around for you to get here so that way u can get not just your important mail that was delivered that u need for your Biz but be able to pickup the multiple packages that were delivered here for you.... Not to mention I know a couple packages you were actually looking forward to them arriving here (see he actually remembered me talking to him a couple days earlier about some items that I had ordered and bought through Amazon & was looking forward to these items getting delivered to the shop) & I even asked him again on the phone are you sure your gonna wait around for me even though I'm gonna b late and I won't get there till after closing?!?! He told me "No Worries Boss!!! Just take it easy & drive safe & I'll be here waiting for you and I'll have your packages up front at the counter ready to go so when you get here you won't have to wait for me to look em up & go into the back of the shop and find em for you I'll do all that now the min I get off the phone with u & I'll have everything ready to go once you get here so it'll be a quick boom-boom transaction & you'll be right back in your vehicle headed home before you know it"!!!! Sure enough when I got there I was about 5-10 mins after closing but he was still there like he promised & sure enough he had all my packages w/ him at the front counter & on top of that he got all my mail outta my private mailbox for me so that was 1 less thing I had to worry about &/or to do while I was there at the store & I wasn't even there for 2 mins before I was already back into my vehicle ready to take off & drive back to my house for the evening..... ALL I CAN SAY ABOUT THE STAFF THERE NOW IS "WAY TO GO UPS EMPLOYEES AT THE VAN NESS AVE (DOWNTOWN FRESNO) LOCATION/STORE.... Had the opportunity to ship some samples for work out of this facility. Unfortunately, Dan did not seem pleased with me requesting if he could tape/secure the packages so my samples did not leak. I received a call from UPS stating they found the samples spilled everywhere and had to be thrown away. I'm not sure if Dan put forth the effort to help me out with my shipment.
