When I called I got a honest quote that didn't change when I got there. Thankfully they had availability so I got in quick(lucked out with same day). The folks at Cutting Edge Tint are phenomenal. My fellow Yelpers were spot on with this one. I came in for a window tint estimate for my older model car. The lady at the front was very pleasant and explained all the options. I am not a car savant, but I do know that 3M tints are among the industry's leaders. That is the main brand they carry. After showing me the options with test pieces on my car I was able to design and price out my look. The prices was well within my $250-$300 budget. Only problem was that when my factory tint was considered with the shade I wanted it would have made my tints darker than the legal limit. Since I am not a scofflaw, I decided against tints. However, I did see CET's work on one of my good Yelp friend's car and it was high quality with no bubbles or unnecessary cuts. When my current ride gives up the ghost, I will be taking my next car here for a full tint job. Fair prices, sanitary interior with all the proper COVID precautions, nice and informative people. FYI, You can only make appointments during the week as Saturdays are first come first serve. After checking in, I was walked through the different options of film and the associated benefits of each Unsure of what I wanted, TJ was kind enough to take the existing tint off, measure it and let me know what it was so I could make an informed decision on how to proceed. I appreciated that because he did not have to offer to do such in the first place. Plus, knowing I wanted it darker than what was already on there, it gave me the perfect starting point. Needless to say I was in and out in about an hour. Talk about efficient service, I think this is the shortest tint appointment I've had. like ever! The customer service was impeccable, the waiting room is spacious and clean so you are not sitting on top of each other while you wait. I know nothing about getting tints, so I greatly appreciate their customer service and willingness to answer all my questions. She went through all the pricing, and pros and cons of each tint option. She also provided me with a heads up of all the factors taken into consideration based on what car you have and what the final price would look like. Overall, the experience was great. It took them 30-45 mins to complete my car. They have a couch area where you can sit and wait and also watch your car getting done, but instead I decided to leave the shop to kill time and they called me as soon as my car was complete. It took no time at all. Once I arrived back to see my car, that's when I paid and then my car was all set. Flawless tint, the first time! Wow, my last tint experience was so bad (at another shop) that I was afraid they were all like that. You are able to sit in a comfortable waiting room with a big couch, laz-z-boy, wifi, and TV while you wait. There is a huge window so you can watch your car being worked on. Came to Cutting Edge Tint because of extreme photosensitivity and chronic migraines. Customer service at this place is dreamworthy, for example they placed swatches of a few different %tints on the windshield and side doors so that I could do plenty of day- and nighttime driving BEFORE making my decision. They also accurately told me when my car would be ready. They gave me a ton of options and importantly did NOT pressure me in any way. Customer service, unbothered by my questions, educated me on how the different tint types are used to reduce heat as well as light. And no surprises on the final cost either. It's been over a month and the window tint quality/application is still the same. Best decision I have made for my car in an effort to take back driving. I would get my windows (for any car) tinted again at Cutting Edge Tint. PLEASE NOTE-- Search for "Maryland Window Tint Laws" to know the "legal" limit for tinting of windshield vs all other doors, as well as sedan vs SUV. If you require tint beyond the "legal" limit, go and get a doctor's certification to keep in your glove in case you are stopped and asked for justification for that much window tint. Naturally occurring bright lights and glare are unavoidable, but please turn off your high beams (while leaving regular beams on) when unneeded. Repeated exposure to bright light can lead to a full migraine - on the road. Even if you don't have a medical condition like me, high beams on the road reduce visual contrast, making it difficult to see pedestrians and signs. read more

Was recommended this place by a guy who sells nice cars, so I called them for info/price quote and to make an appointment. Guy on the phone was very polite and patient. I called twice and probably asked silly questions and he didn't get annoyed. (Sometimes this happens with car shops). The woman helping me was the best. She was very informative and very good at reading client cues at what I was likely interested in getting. She was just all around so pleasant to work with that I'd get tinting even if I didn't need it! She was also very patient with explaining the types of tinting, legal vs not legal etc. I'll wait a bit to comment on the tint itself since I just got it done but so far so good. I got the Oberian (2nd tire style). There's a lifetime warranty on certain factors. The guys doing the tint were fast too. I have a 4 door sedan. They got it done under an hour. Don't have time to tint on the weekends? Do it during your lunch hour!
