I always have a great experience at this store. They are a well oiled machine. I never wait long and the staff is always friendly.

Apparently any complaint is a disruption. I complained about the doors not working and allowing after hours service and you focus on issues that you have not seen. I paid for a service that you fail to provide and you accuse me of treating your staff inappropriately. Nothing could be further from the truth. Your attitude towards your customer was undignified and curt. You acted smug and uncaring about an issue of great importance to a customer. You lied about multiple instances of disruption. Customers have every right to file a complaint. It was being brushed off by management. I am glad you were finally there for me to speak to. Now you know that no one likes to be lied to about services and pay for something that is not provided. You tried to intimidate me. I hope my mail isn't affected by your conduct. read more

Three strikes and your out ! Its a shame how big business has gotten so out of control that they do not care about small business anymore. It's all about the large corporations and lack of customer service. UPS has forgotten what made them successful. You cannot get any help anywhere with them other then AI phone lip service and form responses online. So it seems to now filter down to individual franchise owners as well and who they hire. I actually have never had any problems with any other store locations other then the Timber Drive Garner Store. I have actually become friends with two other UPS store owners who understand what customer service means. I have 3 separate instances where this location just seems to make up rules as they go out of their way to not provide common sense service. I am 66 years old and been running my own successful business's now since 2004. Before that over 25 years in sales and distribution working for large corporations. I have been trained and have trained numerous people in sales and distribution for over 40 years now. So I know a little about shipping and packaging items correctly to UPS standards sine 1984. So when I walk into a facility with a package that I have been shipping the same way since 2004 from numerous UPS locations, including but not limited to UPS store and customer counter in Wilmington, NC, Chapel Hill , NC and even the main UPS counter location in Raleigh off of Atlantic Avenue. I became a bit perplexed when I was told by a young lady ( I use that term loosely ) that they will not take my package because it was taped together. The funny thing is that in the past three weeks they have taken the exact same package two other time at this location alone. They never batted an eye or said anything previously and took the packages and gave me the receipt ticket to show when I dropped it off. The young person decides to tell me that UPS never takes packages like mine. I said I beg to differ as I have shipped this exact same package at this location before with no problems and have shipped this exact set up through UPS in the last 20 years over 100 + times with no problems in any way . I said lets check with someone else. So she goes to get someone and as I try to explain my history with this they kept telling me your wrong we are not taking your package. I said show me the written regulations or lets call someone at UPS corporate or get your store manger to address this. I explained this is urgent I need to get it out today for my customer as I promised them and it was about 3:58 pm and I had other appointments to attend and could not be late. I am self employed and my time means money I cannot be running around Raleigh when I had my scheduled planned out and I would have to go to Raleigh customer counter which now started closing at 3:15 so no way for me to get it out anywhere else. They refused to do anything and insinuated that I lied about shipping the same package from their location. The young lady started to laugh at me thinking how funny I was for being upset obviously. I told them I have all the paper work to back up everything I said but not with me of course. I was told I can wait until the manager came in which would be in an hour. Well of course with such disdain for me as a senior citizen and a customer I lost my cool. I told them off and they proceeded to tell me to leave or they will call the police and told me do not come back. I normally can keep my composure but honestly I lost it. I told them off, so now I'm the bad guy. As I was leaving I was cursing to myself very loudly outside of the store heading back to my car trying to figure what is happening to this world why no one cares anymore. The young lady was lucky if she was 18 years old making minimum wage and decides I am not worthy of any respect . This is the third time I have experienced them refusing a package, last time was the value of the package even though I had already paid for the shipping and insurance through my UPS account. So in my opinion find another shipping company where you will be taken seriously and respected not laughed at and accused of lying. Of course they will say its my fault. I politely disputed the policy until I was laughed at and disrespected. Anyone coming in behind me hearing my anger would think I was the problem not understanding the frustration that I have had to deal with when it comes to lack of customer service and total disrespect. I was wrong for getting upset but how can you not when the world is full of people who just do not care. I now can never go there ( they banned me from coming back ). I will tell everyone I know to never support this UPS store location. I know a lot of people and i will make it my business to direct everyone I know elsewhere. I had to drive to Raleigh the next day to get my package out with no problem. UPS told me my packaging was fine ( as it has been for the last 20 years) . read more

I would give no stars if I could. After driving 40 minutes and getting there with 2 minutes to spare the employee closed the door in my face and said we are closed while taking something from another customer. read more

No stars for this store, I shipped some plans there only to be told I had to open up a mailbox to receive packages there. I will never use this UPS store again, and will further avoid using UPS shipping services. Just plain awful!!! read more

So I popped in earlier this week to drop off a package. Simple enough, sure. What I experienced, though, made an impression. The store was well staffed, the employees were super pleasant, and service was very prompt. This experience earns 5-stars! I can't help but comment on other reviews in the context of my other experiences and expectations. End-of-day is always a challenge in a service/retail environment. The day has already been long, and chances are there is frequently a last-minute rush of customers trying to get one last thing checked off their list. I get that. Keep in mind, though, that UPS staff cannot turn back time and put packages on a truck that has already left. This UPS Store closes at 7:00 as a convenience to their customers. The last UPS truck leaves at 6:00 as required by the shipping processes. Yeah, I learned this the hard way myself. I understand. It is the customer's responsibility to be properly informed and to have an expectation consistent with what can reasonably and realistically be delivered. It is the staff's responsibility to hear the customer's situation and look for ways to say, "Yes" within the boundaries of what is possible and permitted. Arrived at 6:45 PM at the store frantically to send my son's insulin in the mail!!! Guy was counting money and told me he'd be right with me. Then a young lady came from the back and asked me if i needed help. I told her I needed to send cold stuff and I needed a Styrofoam box. She then tells me she doesn't have one and the guy proceeds to check and tells me they must have sold it. As he is telling me that the last pick up already came. I told him that's fine I'm already here and I need it to go out in the morning. Then he tells me it won't get there til Thursday, not sure why he told me that. Anyway, this is the 2nd time I was in that store and no one could help me. I'm over it. I will be going to the Clayton store from now on. -Annoyed customer read more

Ms. Earlene is a great asset to the UPS STORE . She is a great supervisor and an excellent worker. Her attitude is serious but you know that you are going to be treated in an excellent manner. There is always has a smile and is very kind. Ms. Earlene is constantly multitasking and the other employees are learning what they are being taught. I have been a constant fixture the end of 2019 and 2020 needing the UPS STORE for copying, faxing, and notary issues. I have watched other customers in the store and sometimes the customers talk to one another because the store is so pleasant. read more

I am located on this side of town now, and finding this store was awesome. I needed to fax, yes fax documents to a client and this store offered everything from faxing to shredding documents. I even dropped off a package to return from ordering the wrong thing. They are the most personable and polite group of people I have met in a long time. Genuine smiles and the awesomeness to assist was on point. I will continue to use them for a variety of services. read more

I love this UPS store. I used to go to the one in Cameron Village and it was always understaffed and hard to park. This store ALWAYS has enough employees (even after 5pm I've only had to wait a couple minutes) and everyone is super nice. Bonus that they're open for a few hours on Sunday too! read more

Had a package sent for delivery, when it went through their New Jersey sorting facility someone there helped themselves to the package and used the gift cards that were enclosed and UPS will not investigate one of their own. They even stated they won't cover the theft and stated we shouldn't have sent gift cards with their service. Frustrating as it is UPS sucks. read more

I shipped a gift I had brought all the way from Vegas and mailed to my sister in Houston. It was an umbrella you can only purchase at the Beatles Love shop in Vegas, unfortunately when it arrived in Houston it was completely bent. I filed a claim and wasn't sure anything would happen or that they would reimburse me. The owner of this store called me and not only did they reimburse me for the item and shipping costs, they went above and beyond and had someone in Vegas ship a replacement item. I was shocked that they would take such care to make things right, it's been a long time since I've seen that kind of customer service. I've been going to this store for a while and never had an issue, but I'm so glad that when there is one, they step up and fix it. I'm definitely going to recommend everyone go here! read more

The staff here has always been friendly and helpful. They have a lot of services; Notaries, Shipping, Printing, Shredding, Packing, they sell packing materials such as moving boxes and other items like greeting cards. Nice Shop! read more

These guys are wonderful! I ran in at the end of a day with only minutes before closing, they were kind and patient with my large package and took their time to get my package out properly. 5 minutes after I left I got a call on my cell. It was the UPS store. I had left my wallet and they were calling to tell me they would wait for me to come back to pick it up. If they had not called me I would not have been able to fly home the next day as you can't get through the airport without a license. My daughter went in this store to send a pair of glasses her that mother had left at her house. They charged her over $42 for this 1 lb shipment when they said she needed one service to get it from Garner, NC to Winterville, NC the next day. UPS has one day service within the state of NC. They took advanced of a sitution of a person not knowing any better. I would stay away from this store and their manager Earlene Pleasant. Crooks!!! read more

I'm not normally one to write a review, but the service Dave and his staff delivered were so over-the-top excellent and efficient I wanted to share my experience. I live out of state and was able to coordinate with UPS store a pick-up of equipment, professional packaging and shipping in what turned out to be a more complex project than expected (due to the equipment location and pick-up requirements). Throughout the process UPS store went above and beyond to safely get the equipment and complete the project. This was all done via phone and email! Amazing! In a day and age where customer service is hardly even expected this was a very refreshing experience. read more
