The woman with the Middle-eastern accent at the UPS Leithsville, PA location is without question the worst employee I've ever seen, anywhere! I was the fourth person in line, and watched in amazement as she dealt with the people in front of me with rudeness, arrogance, and an attitude dripping with condescension. She actually refused to give one customer her receipts so that she could track her returns! I decided to do my return at the UPS Quakertown location. I have had positive interactions with UPS employees for over 50 years, and have never encountered an individual with such a disgraceful attitude. This woman doesn't appreciate the company she represents, and should not be on the payroll. I'm going to put this review in our local newspaper so that none of my fellow shoppers fall victim to this horrible person. read more

They never have a manager on duty, the staff is not very trained at anything, and everytime I call for a notary they don't ever have one, but listed on the website that they always have a notary smh false advertisement! Poor staff they have there now, they all try they best to help me out but couldn't because they wasn't trained on anything smh management needs to be replaced asap! The sign says they open at 8:30. It's 9:10. Someone is in the store and I'm standing here. It's so unprofessional to not open at your posted hours. I don't think I've ever left a bad review on Yelp. But after reading the other reviews for this UPS store in Hellertown, I have to agree - they are terrible. I live out of state and needed to have a single page printed for my mom who lives in Hellertown. I uploaded a very simple one page, black and white print job to the UPS store website & paid for it online (Order #1078114). I've done this with other UPS stores for years. It's one of the simplest UPS services offered. After uploading & paying for the order, I sent my mom the order confirmation so that she could bring it to the store and pick it up the print. But when she took the order confirmation to the store, no one knew what she was talking about. They couldn't find the order. They didn't know where it was uploaded (despite the fact that she had an order confirmation). They told her she needed to email the document to them. After my mom left, I called and spoke to an employee who said she didn't know how to process the print job and the manager wasn't in the store. She took down the order #, my name & number and said the manager would call me back. Three days later, the manager still hadn't called me. When I finally called her, she gave me a number of excuses as to why she couldn't print it: it's from FedEx, we can't print it; it's a confidential document and you need to show ID to pick it up (it's not confidential); you need to EMAIL the print job to our store; it got lost due to a technical issue... and on and on. The manager asked for my mother's phone number to call her, and then didn't call (again). Meanwhile, I called UPS general customer service and they said that everything was done correctly on my end and they had no idea why the store was unable to process the order. Bottom line: Customer service is horrible and the store managed to turn a very simple print job into a frustrating experience. They treated my mother, who is in her 70s, like she was incompetent, they were rude to her, and offered no assistance as to how to fix the problem and/or print out the order. Don't go here. I truly don't get the reviews for this store (not talking about Jon B's). They're 100% douchebaggery certified. I've probably been in here twenty times over the past two plus years mostly to ship out school book rentals and I have never had one iota of an issue. Hell, I can't even think of the last time I had to wait in a line. Usually I walk in, one of the staff comes over and tells me to put the box on the scale, they scan the barcode, they issue the paper receipt and I'm on my way. Last week my total time in the store to handle that exact transaction was maybe fifty seconds. This store is also a Identigo location that takes care of things like electronic fingerprinting for official (i.e. state police - child abuse - FBI) background checks. The line for this can back up a bit but if need to you can go to the Identigo website and make a reservation super easy. This place is everything you would expect from a UPS Store. A+ read more

This is the most unprofessional UPS store I have ever worked with. My boyfriend and I had a friend ship a bunch of boxes and suitcases from this store to us almost two months ago. One of them never arrived. We filled out all of the claim information and UPS corporate called us, informing us that our claim was approved for $2500 and that the manager of the store just had to sign off on it. We called the store to get the manager to sign off and her staff said she was out but that the claim looked good and we'd hear back soon. We waited two weeks but never heard back from them. When we called back, we were told that we would have to submit invoices for every item lost in the suitcase, which is not a UPS policy. We told them that there was no way we had physical receipts for every item and that we had filled out all the claim info online and had been told the claim was already approved. They said "okay we'll ask the manager and get back to you." After not hearing back for another few days, we then called the corporate offices again and they looked into the claim and confirmed that we would not need invoices and that we were owed the $2500. My boyfriend called this store back last week and spoke to the "owner" of the store. She told him that she was only approving the claim for $100. When he told her that both her staff and corporate had told us otherwise and expressed that it was worth much more than $100, she said "I only want to approve this for $100. You didn't buy extra insurance so I only want to give you $100. You can prove that it's worth more, but I'm still only giving you $100." (We completely understand the insurance part of this, but have been informed multiple times that we are owed $2500 regardless of insurance. $100 doesn't even cover the amount it cost to ship the package.) I tried calling the store and kept getting hung up on. I then called both customer service and the corporate line this past Friday and they said that she was incorrect and that they were launching an investigation into the store. At this point, we don't know what to do at all so I'm posting this here and filing complaints with Better Business Bureau and the Office of Consumer Affairs for PA. I'm so upset with this process and NEVER leave bad reviews but it feels like this is the only way to get through to the store. read more

The people are incredibly rude, they close earlier than their published time and if you come in anytime even close to closing time they lock the door on you and won't let you in. The website encourages to make an appointment for FBI fingerprinting to avoid lines. I took 2 hrs off from work and got to the store 10 minutes before my appointment. The place was packed. According to the signing sheet all the people ahead of me were walk ins, but even though I had an appointment I had to wait and everyone was seen in the order they arrived. What's the purpose of scheduling an appointment? I could have been there after work and just wait instead of leaving work early and have to wait 40 minutes after my appointment time. read more

I made an appointment to have notary work done. had the confirmation printed out and everything. family had to come from another state for signing and we all get there and the girl behind the counter smirks and says " sorry, I can't do it today, we had a call off." I said " we have a family of people here, we can wait if that helps". I scheduled a finger printing appointment here for 11:10 and waited 30 minutes before I was seen. There were only 2 employees working which I understand is stressful however, they were not apologetic for the wait, and they were incredibly rude and unfriendly. One of the employees, Gil, was stern with customers and had a very harsh tone. He wouldn't greet a single customer when they walked in, and he would just point at the desk if someone asked where they should go. (not to mention he stood on his phone the entire 40 minutes i was there) Customer service is definitely not a priority here. There was little to no direction for people who were in line for fingerprinting, vs. people coming to drop off packages. In fact, most of the customers were helping each other since the employees were unresponsive. When someone asked a question about where they were supposed to go, the employees were just so rude. I've truly never seen anything like it, definitely would not come back here for fingerprints. I'd just find somewhere else. These people are so rude. read more

I was just at this store. The customer service was excellent. The gentleman Larry was running back and forth helping a customer with copies while also helping the young man behind the counter with my package. The level of professionalism from both employees was exemplary. The kid behind the counter whose name I did not catch was very observant and willing to learn. They always try to over charge you and add services to your shipment that you don't ask for. If you go in knowing exactly what you want and tell them you don't want the extra stuff and then review your receipt carefully to make sure they didn't trick you, then it's okay and convenient. They ask you the value of the package and then automatically add insurance of that value to your shipment. I thought they were asking me the value bc. it was required for the shipment; but they immediately added it to insurance, which is optional. I approached them on this and they said that's just the way they do it and for "those values" insurance is required. When I asked them why the receipt said "optional services" - optional being the key work / i.e. not required - their attitude got very offensive and huffy and puffy as they reluctantly took off the "optional" charges for insurance which I did not order. read more

I went in at 9:10 AM on 10/21/15 to get a mailbox for personal/business use. The man working at the counter was so rude to me. I started filling out the form and he kept snapping at me about things as I quietly worked to fill out the form. "You know you are going to need two forms of ID." "yes sir, it's clearly stated on the form and I've been reading for the last 35 years"...I thought this, didn't say it. It was almost like this grumpy, grumpy man was trying to get me to walk out. "You know it will take 3-5 days for them to process this." So and so forth. I eventually had to walk out on this Santa Claus/Biker dude hybrid reject as it was clear this organization did not want my business. Why sign a mailbox commitment for a year if I would ever have to work with that jerk? I dumped the forms in the garbage can by the Giant next-door as I had absolutely no intentions of ever using this shop ever again. read more

I have been shipping artwork to an exhibit from UPS (mostly from this store) for years. They pack it into their boxes (and have done a nice job) and I have always gotten a pre-paid return label so the piece can be shipped back to me at the end of the exhibit. This is not an inexpensive endeavor, and I have been doing it for years. Not this year apparently. First, the clerk didn't know how to do it. Okay, I'm good with someone learning. He worked on the part he knew how to do, then got help. When they selected "return service" the computer told them they couldn't do it, because they were packing the item. I told them "you did it last year, and the year before that, and the year before that." They just stared at me. No comment, no attempt at finding a solution, no "sorry". Just stared. "Well, I can't ship it if they can't ship it back to me." I picked it up and walked out. I'm not sure what I'll do now. So much for customer service. read more

Very unprofessional mail box service. I rented for 3 months and that was 3 months too long! The staff lacks in professional boundaries, they discuss persoanl matters in front of customers and ask personal questions in front of customers when you are only coming in to get your mail. If you just ignore them they will scream about your account and mailbox in front of customers-I've never seen anything like it.
