Here's what you need to know: always great service here, especially by Michael. They are so helpful with drop offs and other packaging services. Decent hours for the store, and very convenient location. They provide notary services and shredding services too. Overall, I highly recommend this location for the service alone. I'd I forget to tape up my box, they always just do that for me and charge nothing. Parking is a little right so be prepared to find street parking. Pricing is a little cheaper than FedEx but more than UPS. But that's not store specific, it's just the business model of the corporations. I do wish they offered pickup services and Highland Park residents didn't have to drive to south Northbook for packages. read more

Stopped in and the guy at the counter said that they'd find the most economic way to ship them. This is the closest UPS store to me. My experience with them is purely shipping. I have dropped off some packages that were prepaid and had to pay shipping a for a few others. They have a convenient small parking lot. It's a bit wonky to get out of. The customer service has been ok sometimes and great others. I have never had to wait very long. I do think the shipping is a bit crazy price wise, but I feel better about them in terms of reliability then another option. Overall, glad they are local. They do their job. read more

Would like to commend Genevieve at the UPS Store #1714 for outstanding customer service and packaging expertise. On Saturday 24 November I arrived at the store shortly before closing time (Apologies Genevieve, I didn't know) carrying a delicate glass figurine I was planning to carry on an airplane. I requested the item be packaged as such. The store was busy and, other normal business circumstances, packing would have been completed by Monday. Explaining my travel schedule, Genevieve made an outstanding effort to complete the packaging while I waited (fantastic service) and performed a very professional job packaging the delicate item (outstanding expertise). Had mail sent to this location and when I called to verify the store employee told me "it was lost". The store employee had said they gave it to someone on accident and they were calling all customers to see if anyone had it. They did end up finding it but that was a pretty big mistake, hopefully this was just a one time occurrence. read more
