Whenever I go to the UPS Store, the employees are friendly and knowledgeable and provide fast service! PLUS, returning my Amazon purchases has really made everything so simple for me. They just scan the code in an email from my iPhone and take my merchandise and give me a receipt. This UPS store has been excellent in the past. The owner is very nice. A mistake was made on an Amazon return and they scanned the same shirt 2x and the 2nd shirt was not scanned. So Amazon didn't receive it. I went back within 1 hour of the drop off. I was helped by Nichols and Axel. They looked in a bin at @ 4 packages and said they couldn't find them. I wanted to help but this wasn't allowed. I told them I would wait while we looked through the bin. They had me wait and after taking care of 4 new customers. Axel said there was nothing they could do. I told them you had me wait for 20 minutes to tell me they wouldn't look in the bin. They were too busy. But I was the only person there. Besides being incompetent, they were rude. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. I reported this to Amazon and they politely took care of the return. I am an extremely patient man. OMAR, wake up! I had an extremely unprofessional experience at this UPS Store. When I politely asked for my drop-off receipt to show the actual weight of my parcel (for legal and liability purposes), the young employee , maybe 18 or 19 years old , was condescending and dismissive. He even said, "I do shipping all my life, weight of the parcel doesn't matter." That is not only untrue, but completely unhelpful. Weight obviously matters for both cost and accountability, and I had every right to request accurate documentation. Instead of receiving customer service, I was met with arrogance. What makes this worse is that I was prepared to sign up for one of their products "a mailbox with a real street address" for my online business. After this experience, there's no way I'll trust this location with my business. I lost my temper in the store, and I won't be returning. This location badly needs better training and professionalism from the franchise owner. UPS should seriously reconsider who they allow to run their franchises. read more

I normally don't review business like this however this UPS Store is special. I have been here a few dozen times for Amazon returns or to ship some items and I have to say that this location has the kindest, sweetest staff I've encountered in any kind of store in ages. One gentleman, Marc, always greets customers as they enter and has a calm and kind voice while helping even the most unruly customers. This staff is quick and attentive and you really just don't see this kind of service, especially in South Florida, anymore. Even though it is sometimes cheaper to ship from the post office, I would rather pay a higher price to come to this store because of the kindness and positive attitudes at this location. Most UPS store visits are uneventful . So was this one. I had a couple of hats to return to Amazon but one of them needed a box, as it didn't fold up. The owner (or sales associate) was extremely kind and patient with me, since I really had no interest in paying for a box to ship a return. I came in a Sunday morning just about an hour after freshly opening. Came in and there was only one client in there being attended. Although there was only one worker from what I can see he picked up his head to see me walk in. And I took the moment for ME to greet him first with good morning. I waited on the side, no rush. But time was passing by and him working away soooooo slow. Not once did he say sorry, I'll take A second. Or sorry for the hold up. Nothing!! Was said. Now we are pushing to ten mins standing around, waiting......What boils my blood is just not being acknowledged. Look I get it, he is alone, it's Sunday but come on he needs to still acknowledge his clients coming in. Shortly after the 3rd person walks in. He did a quick nod, hello. That's it. Nothing again said I will be will you. So what ever finally my turn, I was just mailing one document priority since the actual ups price was way too high in comparison. Only reason I came to ups was because the do it your self touch screen in usps in Hallandale was broken so I couldn't self mail it after hours. And my document is time sensitive. So again I choose to ship priority mail usps since was more affordable. That was 2-3 day shipping $14. And some change for one piece of paper. read more

Recently went to this UPS store with my dyson vacuum and a reference number to have my package shipped back for warranty. The person working said he had no idea what to do with the reference number, he's never heard of using a reference number for shipping, and said I needed to get more information. I explained I had done this before with dyson and he said it was impossible. I asked for a manager and he said there wasn't one. I said this is so ridiculous, can you at least try to ask someone if they know and He said it's my problem there's nothing he can do. I had to drive to the UPS on Hallandale Beach Blvd and as soon as I walked in and the person there saw my vacuum he asked me if i had the 114 reference number. I said to him I jsut came from the UPS on Sheridan and the guy had no idea what i was talking about. And he agreed that's odd for someone not to know how to use a reference number for this type of shipment. It's really frustrating to walk into a place of business where the staff doesn't know their job for something so simple and doesn't have a manager or senior staff to help. They refused to provide me a flat rate box to take home to decorate and pack for a service member because "customers take them home and mail them at the post office." When I promised I would bring it back there because I work during post office hours, and explained it was for a deployed member of the service and wanted to personalize the box otherwise I would pack it there. Would give zero stars if possible. Worst service and location I've ever been to. Came in to scan a document on a Tuesday and was taken care of with immaculate service. Came in the next day to finish my school project that required another scan. Macarena the woman helping me failed to inform me of what she was charging me for along with being very intrusive and reading my papers that I kept grabbing from her and flipping over exclaiming that it was privet. On top of this after speaking with the manager about being charged for things I have never been previously charged for before. Stood with a blank look on his face. Quit hiring idiots ups. Horrible store and dishonest. I will never go there again no matter how convenient. I dropped off a copy job and was quoted one price after a long conversation with the owner which price was mentioned multiple times. I even told him I usually go to Office Depot but will try his services because they are the same price and his location is more convenient. When I came to pick up the copy job, the price tripled even though I said I was quoted a different price. I was then given a snow job as to why the price increased. Rather than be honorable and honor the quoted price, the owner refused. I left the documents there and told them they better shred the documents due to their confidential nature. The clerk had the nerve to tell me there is a charge for that. I said then waive it and left. Again the worst store. Get all prices in writing. They will gouge you for every cent. read more

I have been DEFRAUDED in this store. Had some documents to send ASAP to California, so I paid about 80 bucks for the fastest shipment possible, the shipment was attempted to be delivered late, nobody was already there, they have tried to deliver an hour later for the second time (Even they say they don't do that), I called to UPS support and asked to leave the package the next day at the same address as it supposed to be delivered, but in the rental office located in the same building, and that it should be after 10 am, they brought it at 7 am, so after that they have stored the package in the central UPS hub and as they told me that somebody have to go to pick it up. I have asked for a refund, they have referred me to the store where I have send it from, so I went there and the told me that they will have filed GSR, but for it to be approved somebody have to pick up the package. It took a time (and money) to organize for the package to be picked up and went back to the store, where after about an hour of waiting they told me - sorry no refund for you, you came too late... That by the rules for GSR to be processed it have to be within 15 days... They didn't filed it when I came THE NEXT DAY after it have to be delivered, it was a deliberate deception on their part. Very dishonest and deceptive people, I would definitely recommend to stay away from this store. read more
