I'm lucky that this is the closest UPS location to my house because the staff is friendly and helpful. Yes they are always crowded and very busy, but that's to be expected being so centrally located. The guy that usually helps me Henry or Barry (I can't remember his name right now but I'll update my review next time I visit!) is so helpful! I never remember what envelopes to purchase or what all I need to do for shipping different packages and he is very patient and helpful. We also get a lot of our mail shipped here and it's an easy pick up experience. read more

Just purchased a 60lbs device online, and Sheena, along with Destiny, was Phantastastic @ organizing the whole expedition: pickup, packing & shipping for only a nominal fee. They actually deserve an extra *, for the extra effort in completing the job! I called ahead to make sure they're open because I drove to one UPS that turned out to be closed. A guy answered the phone and was so unfriendly. He kept sighing on the phone as if he couldn't take my two questions. Then when I got to the store he wasn't wearing a mask!! But the gal who was behind the counter as well was so nice and helpful so she did make my visit mostly pleasant! read more

This is a very convenient location for a UPS spot in Midtown/Downtown Houston. I work in downtown so sometimes when I need to ship things out after work I go here. There's a private parking lot with designated parking spots for UPS customers, which is a plus! I've never really had to purchase anything so I'm not sure about the prices. I've been here a few times and the employees here are nice. But, the last two times I've gone there after work, there was a lady that just didn't seem like she wanted to be there. She was not mean or rude, but just not very welcoming because I walked in and stopped whatever she was doing or not doing. Overall, decent customer service, fast and quick service, and very convenient! So, when I do need to ship things out via UPS I usually go here after work. I think I waited in a short quick line once, other than that, you're in and out. read more

So, I've been shipping a lot of stuff lately and yes, it's a UPS Store. What can you expect? Well that's exactly it. You don't expect much and when you get service with a smile and helpful individuals behind the counter, you leave with a smile on your face. The employees at this store were really helpful and even opened up the store 15 minutes early on a Saturday when they saw me chillin' outside with a box. These people are a bunch of negligent, incompetent liars and this store should be shut down for how useless it is. I came here to drop off an Amazon return around 6pm and since they're so slow with their service one of the clerks behind the counter told me to just leave my package on the counter and he would scan it in and drop it off. So I did just that because he told me to and 3 days later I check the tracking number and it still only says "Order processed - Ready for UPS." WTF? So I call the store and right after I explain why I'm calling I get placed on hold for 15+ minutes with nothing more than just a "hold on." I hung up because the person on the phone never came back to check up on me and there was no hold music or anything so I can only conclude that he was just trying to ignore me. So I drive back to the store and complain that they lost my package. The guy then tells me that there's nothing that they could do and I should have made sure the clerk scanned my package and asked for a receipt. THE SAME GUY THAT TOLD ME TO JUST LEAVE THE PACKAGE ON THE COUNTER! He then tells me that I need to file a claim with the seller, because he swears that the driver picked it up and just neglected to scan the package. So now I am out money, I don't even have the broken product that I was trying to return, and I wasted my time dealing with these lazy liars. Management needs to fire these guys or just shut the whole store down. read more

So this is now my second and last time visiting this location they are so slow the manager acts as if he is clueless and walks by customers and not even ask if we need help!!! I will continue taking my business to the Kirby location they are way more efficient and excellent customer service just a little out of my way but definitely worth the drive!! 0 stars from me!! read more

The employees at the UPS Store on 2450 Louisiana St are very helpful and efficient. I came in unsure of what I had to do, and they helped me with every step of the way. It started getting busier with customers, and they even handled that well, being able to communicate with every person and making sure everyone is spoken to, and keeping the lines moving. I was a very demanding customer and they were great--very friendly and skilled. They devoted 45 minutes to my very picky requirements for packing some vintage electronics I needed to mail. They provided boxes and tons of bubble wrap, and all this, including their time, cost me only $21. I thought that was pretty great. Good thing I came in the afternoon when they weren't too busy, don't know how it would be after work. read more

I called the store ahead of time to make sure it was open since with the pandemic the websites are not always updated and I was greeted by Emily on the phone and she was so friendly and helpful. Exceptional customer experience...Justin went above and beyond on Saturday after hours...store was closed and he went out of his way to help me. Not only to to make sure everything was corrected and taken care of that had not been by someone else initially....but his attitude to make things right was fantastic. I sent a perishable package by overnight mail, paying $74. The next day, the tracking info didn't show that the package had left the UPS store. When I called, I was told by the assistant manager that he would check on it and call me back. He didn't. I called the store again and they informed me that my package was lost. The package mysteriously showed up in the tracking system 48 hours later and was delivered. The UPS website states it has a guarantee for on-time shipping. I called the UPS corporate customer service to process the refund, but they wouldn't do it. They said that the tracking info shows that the store didn't hand the package over to them when I dropped it off, but 24 hours later. Basically, I have a time stamped receipt for when I dropped the package off. The store didn't give it to a driver until the NEXT day. The store is giving me a hassle now about processing the refund. I will not go back. read more

When I tried to explain to him I was confused because I'd had a long day he retorted "we'll I've been up since 5." I finally left without ever getting any help at all from the staff. read more

I had the best experience at this UPS store. I have to ship items frequently and it makes such a difference when working with kind people. Jason at the UPS store was so wonderful to work with recently. When I walked in, he said I'll take care of everything for you and he did! He even took care of my USPS shipment which saved me a trip to the post office. I am happy to have such a great store with such kind and helpful employees to work with near my apartment! read more

So so so horrible. We rent a mailbox here because anything delivered to our house gets stolen. We have to go multiple times before they can find a package that their own tracking system says has been delivered. The latest incompetence is a shipment of badly needed contact lenses that they insist they have not received even though their own UPS tracking system says was delivered at a certain time days ago. It even specified who signed for it. The manager just keeps insisting that "we never got it ". One time recently they gave us someone else's package--apparently a cell phone. We did not notice it wasn't ours until we got home. Of course they were all over us, constantly calling and texting us return it. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. They are incompetent at best and crooks at worst. read more

Went to have one copy printed, buy an envelope and stamp. $4.50 later. . . . i sent the document to be copied to their email address at their direction. At the cash register they said that incurred a $3.00 computer usage fee. at least when Henry is working all costs are fully explained and there are no surprise - the woman at the counter had a tag that said manager - may have been assistant, but does not matter. not a good situation when staff gives better service than the management. i get that the store operates as a convenience and charges very high prices, but i expect that charges should be made very clear up front. not a lot of money, but more than 4x expected/reasonable costs (copy= $0.10, envelope = $0.10 stamp=$0.46). Just beware it may be a worse experience than expected - and that is hard to believe read more

I often come here a few times a month to mail my personal packages and EBay packages, when I get fed up with the FedEx location at the George R Brown convention center. There is easy parking right in front of the location making it easy to tote in all your boxes. Sometimes there is a wait and a few people in line but the staff is friendly and helpful. read more
