Absolutely horrible customer service. A good employee or company will not announce it's time for them to be ready to clock out, an excellent employee or outstanding human will absolutely have the courtesy to get the line of people helped and manage to provide a good experience. Very selfish employees and sad that good customer service doesn't exist anymore. Would give this place a negative number of stars if it was possible. Are the managers even aware or they just as bad as the employees? Had to do one star or cannot proceed unfortunately. Definitely no stars for this place. read more

Only one person working and the line is out the door. This place is poorly managed. The blame lies with UPS in general.

The reviews for FedEx and UPS are just horrible and the company does nothing about it. Retrain these clowns teach them a little bit about common courtesy and respect. I'll have to go to BBB and send corporate a message. This is pathetic. My issue is the disgruntled UPS people FedEx workers. They're attitudes are beyond reproach and the way they handle customers property is disgusting. I just had a carpet delivered outdoor patio rug from Amazon, but UPS brought it to the door the way he tossed it on the porch is ridiculous. I know he sees that I have cameras. I can't stand these pitiful workers if they don't want the job that they chose why don't you quit and go live under the bridge and be the troll that you are. The employees are extremely helpful and even when the store is busy, things move very quickly!

I had to drop off a return at UPS, which is the only reason I came to this store. We got there at 9:02am on a Saturday, because the website said it was open at 9am. It was not open. Eventually, a young man came and opened the store and we all shuffled in. There was another young man in the store counting a cash drawer, so when we got to the register to drop off our stuff, we were told we had to wait for him to finish counting the drawer (we had another package to ship out, so we decided to do them both at UPS instead of driving up to the post office). I felt like there was zero concern about whether customers were being assisted. read more

We needed to have some documents notarized, so I made an appointment on line to have that done. When we got there we were told that they don't notarize the type of documents that we needed. Then we were handed a card for a mobile notary that we could call to come to us. First of all UPS is using false advertising to say that they offer notary services, because apparently that doesn't include all documents. This begs the question of the name notary public, key word being public. It also in my mind is a bait and switch because we were handed a card to get the service somewhere else. If you are going to offer a service, then offer that full service. If you can't or won't do that, then don't advertise that you provide the service. read more

All I was hoping to do was drop off a USPS package and get a receipt. Which I've done quite a few times before at many different locations and I have never had a problem. As I am dealing with a young man another lady by the name of Jamie comes over yelling "We can't do that, We can't do that - We don't give receipts for USPS stuff". I remained calm and let her know that I've done this many times before and if this varied by location then that was fine but I thought they were all the same. I actually called my usual location to confirm and they did and even offered to help walk them through it. Then she called her "manager" Alex and she confirmed that this isn't something that they do (even though I had the other store saying that they clearly could). Then she says oh she said it varies by ownership. I would've rather she just said that they didn't want to take it. It's unfortunate because I've been a customer for quite some time. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well. SMH read more

I am so disappointed in the service I received. I came on 1/20 about a packed that I received an email saying it arrived 1/19 and I had until 1/20 to pick it up. The person who "helped" me couldn't be bothered with me and continued counting the drawer and didn't even look at me to hear my legit concern and confusion about an expensive package. They told me "it got returned" and they went on to the next thing before I could respond. After checking the email, I got back in line to get some clarity. I was told I could look up the tracking number. I asked if they could look it up with the number in the email. I wasn't loud. I wasn't rude. At that point, I asked for the manager's info, they handed me a card with no name on it and said they were the manager and I could talk to them. When I asked for the district manager's info, they said "nah I'm not going to give you that." Only when I turned on my camera did they give me a number. I still am shocked at the lack of customer service and flat out rudeness of this employee. It's customer service 101 to stop what you are doing and actually look at a customer when you are engaging with them. I will drive further to have my UPS packages delivered to another location. I'm trying to find the "never deliver to this location" option on the UPS site. read more

Went to store at 9:30 am on 08/14/2020. Store was locked and no one was there. Their sign says they open at 8:30. Took my business some place else. There were at least 10 customers who came to door while I was there for 10 minutes. Must be a great business plan. read more

Charged me $40 for next day air and couldn't make the delivery on time. Then gave excuses but fact of the matter is you owe me $40 because of lying or lack of knowledge on your part. read more

Came into the store and there were 2 other customers in front of me, the lady at the counter was extremely nice and helpful! It went really smoothly, the only heck up was the computer having to restart, but the lady at the counter was super nice and the customer service was great! She was able to multi task and help other customers! read more

This store is the worst! All week I have called in to find out holiday hours and I got a different answer 3 times. Some of them did not even know. And there is no Holiday hours posted on the door. This place needs some good management. And also we had pictures that said they were delivered and we did not get them. read more

Do not go to the Washington Street UPS store in Indianapolis. They packed a framed, signed, large picture for me and it arrived broken, and unable to be repaired. It was completely destroyed. The UPS box did not show any damage therefore the damage occurred before shipping.It was obvious to the recipient that the damage was done by the store before it was shipped. It has been 7 weeks without ANY resolution! UPS corporate will not do anything because this store is a franchisee. DO NOT SHIP anything of value with this store. Edward, the store packer, will not do anything. Many, many calls and visits to the store have not obtained compensation. Always the store employee says he is working on it. NOTHING gets done. Go to the UPS store at 10th and Shadeland for good customer service. read more

When I went into the store there were only 2 people ahead of me. I had a large, heavy printer to return through Amazon. I asked if someone could get it out of the car for me. The counter lady stepped into the back room and spoke to someone. Very soon a man came out and retrieved the printer from the car. They weighted it, gave me a receipt and I was out the door. Really refreshing to get good customer service. I am glad they have a new owner. read more

I had emailed this store for a price quote on mailbox service for my business. Since I have to have papers regularly notarized and ship from multiple carriers, I thought this would be a convenient alternative to a USPS PO box. That was 2 weeks ago and I'm still waiting. A few days ago, I needed something notarized so, I went over there. There was several people in the store and only one attendant working the counter. The other two employees went to the back when a line started forming. When it was my turn, I told them I needed to get something notarized. I was told that she is not working today. So, they only have one notary on staff? It seems like you would have a couple and schedule accordingly. read more
