My wife had the "Dell from Hell" with an intermittent charging issue. MDRepairs flashed the BIOS to recover the system for a reasonable charge. After a week we discovered the root cause: the power connection was flaky due to an internal mechanical connector issue within the laptop body. They figured out a workaround to avoid an expensive repair. They would not charge anything for the extra time spent in hunting this maddening power issue down.
