This store needs more help. It is always soooo crowded and DON the owner or boss must not understand this.... There used to be a young dark haired guy in there, but with the Holidays and all it has gotten out of hand.. Not just 2 helpers DON!!! Get more employees to help the efficient service in this store. This location is in Lodi and they have A-Ok customer service -- there have been days where the line can go out the door, but they do a pretty nice job of making sure they get through everyone fast, this location is a little small and during the holiday times can get filled to the brim, the staff has been doing a good job at maintaining quality assurance. They are very helpful when you have all your information ready. I come to this location so I can enjoy the services around great food options so this store is in a good little spot. read more

I have never experienced a business in Lodi that is so poorly managed. I can't believe that there is not some level of accountability from UPS corporate on their stores because this store is like a hoarders paradise. I can hardly breathe when I walk inside due to packages stacked EVERYWHERE. I would never let them ship a package for me. I have been in the store twice simply to buy boxes--long lines, poor service. I've been to this UPS store a number of times and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Today I needed to laminate a 3 X 5 card. It cost $6.49. That's just crazy!! I couldn't believe it! I'm from the expensive Bay Area, and I can laminate a full 8 X 11 page for a fraction of the cost of what I paid today!! This place is a total rip off. That should be criminal. HORRIBLE AND I MEAN HORRIBLE customer service!!!!! I shipped out 3 packages with them, THEY made a typo on one of the addresses for one of the packages, DID NOT SHOW ME THE LABEL (store was extremely busy) and they will not reship or refund the $12 for THEIR mistake. I will NEVER return to this store. Manager was rude when he called me back and basically said since I have a receipt with a tracking number it's my fault and I should've tracked the package. PLEASE READ BEFORE SHIPPING WITH UPS: On Friday, 2/23, my sister had 2 boxes of Hummels sent to me from Lodi to Seattle, WA costing @$80. UPS was cautioned SEVERAL TIMES that the contents were FRAGILE German Figurines valued at $500. She has run a mercantile for over 15 years, shipped items all over the US, and never had a problem with anything getting broken, so she DEFINTELY knows how to protect breakables. The Hummel Spice Containers arrived on 2/26, and while unpacking them, I found that the lower corner of the box had been torn & collapsed. To my horror, both spice containers in that corner of the shipping box were shattered, even though they were in their own box packed into a heavy Home Depot moving box! That box had to have been dropped on that specific corner to do this damage. NONE of the other 11 boxes containing 2 each were affected. Because I DID NOT take pictures at EVERY stage of unpacking, UPS has REFUSED to cover the @$35 to replace the two spice containers, buying them on eBay!!! Therefore, CAREFULLY INSPECT boxes before unpacking, take lots of pictures, and CUSTOMERS, BEWARE WHEN SHIPPING UPS!!! read more

Wow I am shocked. I have never had a bad encounter with UPS but an older man who works here proceeded to scoff at me that my packages were incorrectly labeled. I was asking for help because I didn't understand if the labels were correct and he proceeded to yell at me while the store was full of customers. I left crying. As an adult woman I felt very disrespected to be talked to that way. I came in to get information because I knew the labels were incorrect. He almost sent my package and refused a receipt. I had to return a Amazon package of 4 curtain rods and left box open they carried all 4 rods. Thinking they need to confirm there are 4 rods in there. The employee Gabe stated he had to charge me $4 to tape it up because it was oversize. Literally to place strip of tape bout 3ft. Sign says open 10:00 to 3:30 Sunday. But closed all day Sunday without explanation. Also can't change the hours on yelp because if I took a picture of the sign with their hours it would say they are supposed to be open when they are in fact closed. Don't do it!!!! Just left this place, waiting 20 minutes in line and 8 people were behind me. The line backed up out the door because they couldn't find a tuition check for a customer. An employee signed for it the day before. They told him to come back the next day and they still couldn't find it. Two employees were fumbling through mounds of boxes, letters and packages. It was even more unorganized after they shifted one pile to another as one employee did the same thing a minute later to the same pile. I almost left for fear of a hem losing my package that I had to drop off but there's no other UPS store in Lodi. One employee left the search to go pack a box in the back, while the line grew outside and the other was still searching through the now disaster. The one packing avoided eye contact with the growing line. Knowing she put the pressure on her only other coworker. Anyway, no tuition check, no customer service, no more. I get that holiday packages are still being dropped off. But the lack of customer service and organization in this place is extremely scary when they can't find an envelope that they signed for. read more

Very poor customer service. Poor communication between my ups updates and store staff. Informed in the morning I had an item available for pick up. At the store the young man that helped me did not seem to care that my package was not there. I provided him with an update I had received that my package should be there. He didn't bother to check a second time and told me to check again tomorrow. read more

If I could give him a zero I would!!!!! I'm so embarrassed that this is a professional company.. I just witnessed both the owner & customers basically belittling a woman that could not speak English. Just because you don't have Spanish-speaking employees does not make it right for you to make someone feel bad about not being able to speak English. Shame on all of you!!! Thank goodness for my assertiveness and google translate... something that should've been taken upon by a customer but I felt so obligated to help her out! His response was to laugh at her. She found the owner and mentioned, "You need to fire him." No response to her. I went there to mail a package that I had been having difficulty printing a clear label. Raj the Owner helped me after I'd already waited five minutes in line. He went to try and scan the label and it didn't work, I said "yeah I tried a lot of different ways to get a good label and many times". He asked me how I printed it and I told him that I had to screenshot it and printed. His response was with an attitude and was basically a "tough luck figure it out" short manner. I asked about how we could figure it out. He said, "Well we could ship it like this but the they are not going to accept this". When I asked him if there was any other options Raj said, "If you can email the label to me, I could print it". So excitedly I ran outside real quick to grab my phone, however I came back in and he had passed off my package to somebody else. The new employee proceeded to give me the email address to which I emailed my label and then she printed it out. She was just about to slap it on my package and here I am thinking how awesome and helpful they have been, but then she asked me, "Did he let you know about our label printing fee?" When I said no he never said anything, she called Raj over again and I mentioned how henever said anything about the fee and the employee asked if he wanted to charge me. He responded, "Well you you just stormed off". Don't you think before the employee had printed it she should've said something or he could've said something when I came back in?! At this point like I previously said the label had already been printed. Good customer service and a good owner would've just slapped the label on and shipped it, then said next time this is the deal,but no. So I said, "Well then forget it. I'll figure it out myself". I can afford the cost it's just the principle of it. So he picked up the package, pretty much tossed it at me and proceeded to rip the label up. Mind you, I was never rude and never gave attitude until the end, he was full-blown attitude from the beginning. This place has the worst customer service. The last time I used the place they had charged me for something that I was never told I would be charged for and I had to fight with them through my credit card company to get that fee overturned. I also use them for my Nespresso shipments. I'll find a different UPS store from now on. I'm never using this one again. Raj is the new owner supposedly, so what a way to lose a customer. Your attitude and your customer service skills are severely lacking and your business is gonna fail. read more

As far as UPS stores go, this is As Good As It Gets. They have a live scan there(government fingerprint service for licensing purposes). The owner had it installed because when he had to go to the police station to get it done it took more than 6 hours. The messed up thing is is that amount of time is normal for a police station to do live scan, WITH an appointment. This UPS store is the only place in about 100 miles that will do live scan without an appointment AND will do it 7 days a week. To top that off they know the people who come in and the kid manning the front of the store is courteous and knowledgeable about the products and services they offer there. If there is a service a UPS store can offer this one has it, with good service and friendly conversation. All in all I would say this has to be the best UPS store I have ever been to, and I have been to a few. However, they could be selling anything and the service, knowledge, courtesy, and professionalism they show would make it successful. read more

I dont have time to waste in my busy day. I decided to stop off at the UPS store to see what they were all about. Awful customer service. My boyfriend had called about a half an hour before we arrived to ask about their pricing on a personal mailbox. The guy on the phone seemed nice enough and gave him all the info needed (such as price, what forms of ID were acceptable, etc) and told my boyfriend that they did indeed have boxes open and he could sign up. My boyfriend said great and see ya soon. Fast forward 25 minutes later and we arrive (we live in Stockton). We stood in line and when the guy finally came up front to help us my boyfriend asked to sign up for the mailbox. The guy stood there for a second then said something along the lines of "Oh we can't do that, our systems are down." My boyfriend asked him if he was serious and the guy just said yes, so my boyfriend informed him he just called about a half an hour earlier and then asked if the systems were down then. The guy said yes they were so my boyfriend asked why the guy didn't tell him that on the phone when he asked if he could come in and sign up and I kid you not, the guy said "I don't know" and just stood there and stared for a good minute before my boyfriend was like really? After that he said sorry, he didn't know what to tell us. What a waste of gas and time, and what crappy service. I'll skip this location from now on and NOT recommend it to friends. read more

I was recently in the store doing a Amazon return and receive excellent service. For the return, my phone needed to be scanned for the correct return information but while the employee, Matt, was doing it, I touched the phone and it disconnected from Amazon. I had trouble logging back on but Matt was calm and patient with me. Finally completed the return which should have been quick and easy but with my mistake was long. It was great that Matt didn't try to rush me or roll his eyes at me as I fumbled around with the password. I would highly recommend this UPS store to anybody. With employees like Matt, it was a great experience !!! read more
