I am SO TIRED of UPS stores charging you for EVERYTHING. You need a piece of tape to seal a box, they charge you. You need a box, they'll charge you stupidly high prices for a cheaper quality box than you could get at Walmart for $4. Paid $85 to ship a guitar (which is silly high for this package), and asked if they could scan the label I purchased FROM UPS ONLINE, to print it, and they charged me $3.20 more for the label! I needed to make an Amazon return today on a tent about 4 feet tall and 6 inches wide (while rolled up). The employee informed me that I would need the box that the tent came in because the shipping label was adhesive. I told her I did not have the box (then texted my spouse, and he informed me that it came wrapped in a plastic bag.) Then employee said, "I'm sorry but you will have to have a box to send this back to Amazon." I informed her that Amazon specifically stated it was a drop off, no label or anything needed. She told me that I could purchase a box from UPS. I know from past experience when I purchased a 12" x 10" box it was up near $15. I refuse to pay over $20+ etc to make a FREE return. Especially since the item didn't have a box to start with. I asked to speak to a manager. The manager was a professional business woman. She stated that it would be a very easy fix and she reached under the counter to pull out a label holder that attached to the strings on the tent casing. The fix was very simple, took less than a minute, and I was on my way. I believe the manager was customer oriented. I will return when I need other services. read more

Beware of the charges and markup on stamps. I get a small reasonable charge on stamps but this location charges a 60% markup. I noticed the charge and came back to return the stamps and the rep. was plain rude. Because of that, I won't n coming back. read more

The so-call new owners, as per an employee, is charging $3.00 to print a return label for Macy's returns. As per Macy's's position, UPS Stores SHOULD NOT be charging the consumer any additional charges, as they (Macy's) covers the expense. Greed people, like the owners of UPS stores, have no compassion and find extra ways to over charge individuals trying to use their service. read more

I visit this UPS store regularly to fax various documents. I know the rates have been consistent for at least a year. Today, when l went to fax, the charges were 100% more than a couple of weeks ago. Went from $1 per page to $2. Well, l have a choice to pay the new costs or go somewhere else, which l will. But today, l had to pay since they had already faxed them. The problem here is that the increase is not posted. So if you expect to pay $25 for 25 pages, you will be surprised when they ring up $50. So don't make the same mistake l made and trust that they will post or at least tell you verbally, especially since they know the changes are fairly recent. For 100% increase, they should have it posted both online and physically at the store. read more

Great UPS store... everyone is friendly and helps in a timely manner. They get really busy, but they try to get through quickly as peoples needs are different for each package be shipped. Really good if you just have to drop and go too!!! read more

This was my first time using UPS because that is what the store I was using so I could ship back my chain saw. I went to UPS and that store was closed, so I went to the one on Indiana and it was open. You know that made me happy because on Saturdays I need stores open. The young man was super nice and the service was great. At first he was sorry because they didn't have the right box, but he did say they would stay open till 5. I got a box and went right back. He did the packing for this senior customer and it was very reasonable. In the end, I was one very happy customer. read more

Ran in this morning for notary services. The notary on staff had "run to the airport, but we could wait the 20 minutes it might be for him to get back." Umm, no thanks. The two boys who were in there (and I use the word "boys" intentionally) were polite enough, but giggling and goofing around. I felt like the teacher who walked in when the class was up to something. They advertise as business needs oriented, but I truthfully wouldn't put my faith in the employees I encountered to notarize my documents. Professionalism goes a long way, and this place was sorely lacking it today. read more
