My Notary Public was courteous, professional and very helpful. It was done very fast and as a walk-in, the was only a short time in line. The price wasn't bad either (unlike the mobile notaries and/or the appointment only places). I had called two others only to leave a message requesting a call-back. There are two employees who consistently provide a less-than-welcoming experience. They do complete their purpose, but neither smiles, communication is minimal, hardly any feedback and there is no sense of basic friendliness or acknowledgment. I am not expecting conversation or anything beyond the normal scope of their job -- just a simple, positive interaction. This stands out because the rest of the staff are generally helpful and pleasant, and improving this would make the overall experience much better. read more

No one really seems like they want to give you your stuff when it's delivered there by ups! This has happened on several occasions

this was not a good experience, the young lady there was very unpleasant and rude she saw i was waiting to drop off my package. i could not beleve she hide behind the door until some other people [ not like me.] came in and then she popped out to greet them looking right pass me. i was so humiliated. i left out. but then i came and told her just how i felt watching her hide. i called the owner who said oh no she wouldnt do that she loves everyone. i have been in marshall for 3 years working at the hosiptal and never treated so bad. everyone in marshall seem not to care about the color you are. but today was really bad. here's to the new quick check out machines it doesnt matter what color you are. stay prayed up read more

The ladies here are amazing. I was trying to reach a deadline to mail out extremely important and tiñe sensitive invitations. I had a very difficult time converting my word file so that the ladies could print them out on cards. They worked with me diligently probably for over an hour(even with closing time approaching) to make sure the invitations were perfect. You don't realize how important that was to me. I am deeply moved by your dedication of servitude. read more

From the moment she huffed like she didn't want to deal with having to pack my item to ship, and the derision in her voice as she commented on the fact that I was actively folding origami out of a dollar bill, and waited for me to finish as if she couldn't process my package until I "stood still" like a "normal person" (I can't by the way, I have high functioning Asperger's). To the point when she told me that she would not ship my package with the dollar bill ring, that I put in every package to my mother, I could tell that she did not want to serve me, and she made it very apparent. I don't know that I have ever felt so personally abused by someone in what should have been a very simple transaction, involving placing my box, card and ring into a box and filling it with packing, taking my money and handing me a receipt. I will never step foot into this facility again, I have ptsd from the fear of interactions like this, being treated like an unwanted freak, who is intruding. That lady has no idea the mental anguish I will go through in processing this seemingly minor event, and I will be spreading the word, on every internet platform that I can, that this is a hostile environment, for people with cognitive processing issues. read more

To be fair, I received the package, but the manager was rude and the staff member asked if I had received my package under a different name (?!). If the UPS driver had followed the clear instructions to leave the package at the back door (which the manager described as "Not our problem!") this would've never taken place. read more

On July 13, 2017 I took an envelope to the UPS Store in Marshall, Tx. to be sent to Ecuador. It contained a debit Visa card that I needed to send to a friend in Quito. After filling out the appropriate new forms, I insisted on seeing the mailing label and the recipient's NAME WASN'T EVEN ON IT. They redid the label and I thought all was good. In fairness, the manager said that we should say "documents" on the accompanying paperwork instead of "credit card", which I asked the trainee to change, but which she apparently did not. A few days later, the manager tried to call me to tell me that I needed a "commercial invoice" for the envelope.....whatever the heck that is. I missed the call and didn't see the voicemail until the next evening at which time she had tried to call me again. Unfortunately it was already late by the time I found the voicemail and I was working a 24 hour shift in an area Emergency Room. The next morning I went to the UPS store first thing, but the clerk there said she couldn't do anything until the manager came back at noon. I cut my sleep short and went back at noon. The manager said that they were already sending the envelope back and that she couldn't/wouldn't do anything about it. I called the UPS national customer service number. They said the package was still in Ecuador, but since the UPS store in Marshall was an independent franchise they could not make the manager provide honest service. I have disputed the $119+ charge with my credit card company. We will see what good that does. Incidentally, I called Charles Schwab and they sent it there for me for $15 without incident. I utilized the UPS Store in Marshall twice recently and couldn't be more pleased! I am a Realtor in Houston and my client lives in Marshall. I was able to email documents directly to the UPS store, they printed the items, notarized them when my client arrived, scanned them to me and then mailed the originals to me. What amazing service!!! read more
