It's a very small office with a long line going out the building most of the time. The service was slow and poor with one or two people active at the counter. They were told by the management NOT "allowed" to do things for the customers. I waited for 20+ minutes, was redirected to use their high fee based machine, which did not work. I was charged for no service rendered and wasted a lot of time. One employee was sitting in an idled car emitting exhaust blocking a narrow street next to the office for 15+ minutes while I was waiting in line. Her choice of waiting outside rather than going in to work speaks volume of the poor office management and non-customer service oriented practice. read more

This UPS store is terrible. Everytime I come in here there's an issue and I'm always greeted with some nasty attitude from the staff. I dropped three packages off and instead of them scanning each one individually, they put two on the same tracking number. Luckily I was smart enough to keep my receipt to show the company I actually dropped all the packages off so I could get my refund, but when I spoke to the guy in the store he was talking to me like some freaking robot, like rehearsed his answer, admitting no wrong doing, knowing full well they screwed up. I have the opportunity to come to your store and FAX items two or three times per month. In the past I've made some items and have transacted other miscellaneous tasks there. Today I did so as well but wanted to make color copies of some photographs. I have done this here before and they turned out very nicely. The problem I had today was that I was not allowed to use the color copier by myself. Manager Meg, insisted that she standby and help me through every single step and page because "people are not honest about the number of copies they make". She stated that the black-and-white copiers are on your own because there's a counter and they can tell how many copies were made. I said "wouldn't you know by the number of copies that came out?" She said, "yes but most people are not honest about it... they burn through several copies trying to get it right and are not honest about it ". In essence, she told me I was not going to be honest. Meg did one test copy and it got jammed in your machine . She stated that she would not charge me for it ...but I had already decided to take my business elsewhere where I might not have my integrity questioned. I DID pay for that jammed copy along with the faxes sent.... as that was the honest thing to do. I am going to take all my future business some where else that I don't have my integrity questioned. I thought that was quite nervy of her to tell me all that since she didn't even know me. Perhaps some customer service training for Meg is in order? read more

I don't even want to give one star, but that is the minimum. And also, I didn't want to waste my time writing this, but I am doing it because I was so pissed. The store like this must shut down!!! Yesterday, I returned 4 items, but I found that my receipt showed only 3 items when I came back home. So I went there again to see what happened. I happened to talk to a big guy who turned out to be the owner. I explained everything and asked if they could check my items because I returned them just an hour ago. He said my explanation didn't make any sense and it was impossible that such thing could happen. The owner was so mean and arrogant. And all of a sudden, he went into the package area and brought a big box, and then started to dump all the items to be returned. I saw my package and told the guy that the box with black and white color was mine, but he was ignoring me and kept pretending to look for my package. He put the packages back in the box one by one until he got the last one which was mine. He definitely did it on purpose. He printed out the receipt and compared it with the one on my package. They are the same, but the problem was the package had two items, but only one of them was scanned. (I figured this out later.. I was not familiar with the logistics..) The unscanned item could be missing. Anyway I didn't get the correct answer and the thing is his attitude made me pissed off. I can't believe he was the OWNER!!! I came in with multiple items to mail out. Jaris Beasley was such a great help and patient with me while I looked up addresses for him. Gave me options for mailing when the post office was cheaper. Very very frustrating. I go to the UPS store because I can't make it to the post office on time. I walk in and I'm told that my package can arrive on Friday, but as the clerk is taking my information, she says it will probably be Monday. Just PLEASE tell me the correct information OFF THE BAT! If someone wants an early delivery, there is probably a GOOD REASON. I know people have trouble with the post office and the UPS store, but I don't think it's ridiculous to provide the correct information right away. I come here once a month or so. They used to have some nice, young people working here but not anymore. The level of customer service is about the same as what you'd see at Walmart or fast food chains, which is pretty bad. This place also has high turnover, I see new workers here every month lol. Also, this particular UPS store doesn't let you drop packages and leave. They want you to stand in line just to drop packages. This UPS store (store #2355), owned by John Leaty, sent my package to the wrong address and won't resolve the issue. Three days ago I found out that a package that I shipped on 9/14 went to the wrong address. Since that time I have had to be the one to follow up on the issue. The manager of the store, Meg, does not return calls, doesn't offer any kind of help, accepts no responsibility and provides nothing but excuses. She has been ineffective at resolving this issue, an issue that was caused by one of their employees. The only option she has given me is to have the people who live at the house where the package was sent be responsible for getting it back to me. I don't know these people so asking them to take care of this store's problem seems very irresponsible and ridiculous. I can't believe the appalling lack of customer service. read more

Clerk at the counter was unable to navigate a simple amazon drop off return. I had the labels printed and the Amazon bag all ready to go. The confusion was over that I had three items and only two labels. One label covered two of the items,but she told me she couldn't return them without a label for each item!!!!??? I dropped off gifts for shipping on Saturday, and was reminded again of how easy and simple it is to do business with people that know what they're doing and like doing it. I have been using this business for several years, and always have a positive experience. I can walk in with stuff and they find the right packaging to ship it safely and at the least cost. They always offer discount options, and let me make the choice that fits either the urgency or the budget. My most recent "wow" was when I walked in with two vintage fishing poles that needed to be shipped to a nephew. The counter guy knew how to safely take the poles apart and pack the reel separately - and even clipped the leader line in the spool. The whole time laughing about fishermen and families and making sure it got packed safely. Great place to do business. read more

Disappointed in the service I received here today. I came to pick up a package and was the only customer in the store. There were three employees working. Two were talking to each other towards the back and one was helping a delivery person (not a customer). No one even recognized me or said "I'll be right with you" when I walked in...I stood there for at least a minute with no interaction. When the woman towards the front was done with the delivery man, I figured she'd start helping me but instead said "I just have to make a phone call to let them know these packages are here." This was really off-putting. Why couldn't she assist me and do this after I left, since I had clearly been waiting and there were no other customers? Awesome Customer Service and Printing Value I'm in charge of ordering invitations (and enclosures) for my mother-in-law's upcoming 80th birthday party. With 100 guests on her list, I didn't want to spend $1-$2 per invitation and another $1 per RSVP postcard, which were the prices at most online sites. I also didn't want to wait 5 to 10 business days for delivery. I was able to get invitations from Costco for $0.26 each; however, Costco didn't print postcards or other enclosures. The guys at the UPS Store solved my problems. I was able to get postcards color-printed for $0.20 each (printed on both sides on my own card stock). They also printed my direction/map enclosures, which looked so much clearer printed with their laser printer, compared to my inkjet. Customer service was awesome! Both James and Daniel helped me during the various times I went in to try some test prints, which were necessary since I didn't use pre-made templates. But, I really have to give a big "thank you" to Daniel, who helped configure my final PDF files and printed and cut the final items. On top of that, he reminded me that I can get a discount with my AAA membership. I got my postcards and map enclosures in less than 30 minutes. Why wait 5 to 10 business days, ordering from an online greeting card shop? I'll definitely go to the UPS store again for my printing needs. read more

Ok. I like the location and convenience of the store but that's about where the positive attributes end. The lady at the UPS store has the personality of a brick wall. I'm not saying that you need to be a comedian to work here, but she is just extremely rude and I always feel a little downtrodden once I leave the store. I thought about what to include in this review and there are so many things I could say about my experience. I don't understand why she was hired in the first place, honestly, are they desperate for employees? I'm sure there are a lot of people who need work who would do a lot better of a job. Take for instance the friendly homeless person that hangs out outside the QFC occasionally. He would probably be 1000 times better. My advice to management is to seriously take a look at this woman's personality and decide if that's what you want in your store in a customer- facing role. On my last visit there, because apparently I like to subject myself to her award-winning personality, I was sending back the surveillance system that wasn't working. I casually mentioned that my car had been broken into several times and just for fun, I asked her what she thought about that. Without missing a beat, she told me she didn't think anything about that. I said, isn't that a bummer? She said, no. Again, I know it's not her job to sympathize with my car that is seemingly a magnet for thieves, but it's amazing how she just gets irritated with every question I ask and now I literally feel like going back there just to bombard her with as many meaningless questions as possible just to see how she'll answer. I know nothing in this review points to her being incompetent, it's just such a weird energy in the air, and her personality is so sour, and she gets so annoyed with everything honestly. One last thing to mention, the time prior to this mentioned visit, I asked to purchase something to pack one of my boxes and she just seemed so irritated and exclaimed that all packing up boxes must be done outside the store which I did not know the rules. She raised her voice at me and spoke to me like I was a four-year-old child. I don't know. Maybe she's just sad inside. read more

Now i have had a few shipping experiments but Brett turned my day upside down as he finished his previous transaction i approached the counter in a crapy mood ill admit but with out hesitating before i can get a word out he says "hello mam my name is Brett can i help you please" so i joke around at a last glimpse of hope i said " not unless your Dr phill" i thought he'd laugh but no he takes the package away from me looks at me straight in the eye's and says " oh i am very sorry to here you have had such a troubled day please let ME take a load of your shoulders tell me about it as i prepare the label for your box ... ---- what did he just say ? i was like he must just be trying to nice so i told him a little bit of what was bothering me and he responds with the most spot on answer and then proceeds to unearth exactly what has been leading to the problem and hits the nail on the head when he mentions some things that have been going on i swear i thought i was shipping a package is this not the ups store i thought? i was baffled when i left smiling and with a comment that i was to beautiful to be stressed out like that ----way out of your job description but wow i needed that...so i definitely think its a good place to go ps haha he also saved me 15 dollars by informing me i didnt have to ship next day air sense i was only going to portland that i was able to go ground witch was good cause i missed the drop off thingy... and he even thre away my gum lol i hope all the staff is like that read more
