Tarek is the best! I rented a personal mailbox here for a while and he was extremely accommodating. He made sure to always reply to calls or emails in a timely manner and went above and beyond when I was out of the country and when I moved away. There were multiple times I forgot to get back to him or update my account/billing info but he always made sure to follow up with me. I came in for fingerprinting services and the manager made it incredibly easy, convenient, and efficient. The staff was super accommodating as I showed up late for my scheduled appointment and yet they did not hesitate to help me. Seriously, this store is super convenient and when other companies and stores seem to always have lackluster customer service, this store stands as a bastion of an excellent customer experience. Loved my short time here, and I will definitely be back for all my mailbox needs. I'm not sure what all the other reviews are about, this place is super nice and I'd definitely come here again. They are trustworthy, accommodating, convenient, I mean what more could you want? I think this is just one of those cases where one person who has a bad experience leaves a review, whereas the thousand who got amazing service and got what they needed quickly and efficiently did not. Very common, and it sucks because those negative reviews on this location are not at all what this place is like. The manager even responds to many of those 1 star reviews and offers solutions and explanations, his ethic is unmatched. I live in Brooklyn and work in the Seaport - this is my go-to shipping store - they are less crowded than others in the area. If there is a line, they are always apologetic, efficient and appreciative of my time. They have taken steps to improve their customer service so if you have been put off in the past, give them an another shot. They also answer the phone unlike many places. Tarek is a notary and is usually available immediately - just call ahead to confirm. I just got a reference letter notarized with stamp and seal for $5! I recommend highly them! read more

I can't say how happy I was with the service of Tarek and his assistant. I had a horrible experience with the 305 Broadway UPS store with a print order that wasn't done and no one was going yo notify me. But Tarek went out of his way to answer my questions and help me get my order printed for a huge event the next day. Not only that he had it done in 20 minutes instead of an hour. Don't know what I would have done without their assistance, and they were the third UPS I called. read more

I visited this UPS Store to send some very important and valuable items and the employee named Daria was extremely rude throughout my whole experience. The whole time she acted like I (paying customer) was the biggest inconvenience, she kept rolling her eyes when I asked questions about box options or insurance and mumbling how expensive shipping my package was going to be. She did not allow me to help her package my own items and every time I tried to help she kept telling me to stop it or to not touch the box, mind you the box and materials that I was paying for. Luckily, more customers came in and when she went to attend to them, I was able to properly package some of my items since she was doing such a poor job. Daria, let me remind you that you are providing a paid service, not doing a favor for someone. If you hate your job so much that you are so rude and annoyed on a Monday at 9 AM then I highly suggest you change careers and find a job where 0 customer service is involved because your lack of professionalism does not reflect a person that according to you has 17 years of experience in this field. Overall, I recommend you avoid this location if you need any help from an employee and if you do, make sure Daria is not the one to assist you because you are better off going to another UPS Store or even a FedEx location. read more

Every single employee here is so rude and passive aggressive. Maybe they're all unhappy working there but every time I've gone I've interacted with a different employee and they act annoyed by me just being in the store alone. Ive gone to return a couple Amazon purchases and buy packing tape so it's not like I'm asking them to do something complicated. I once asked the lady who was working how much the tape was because there was no price on it and she purposely mumbled the price so I couldn't hear & when i said I'm sorry I couldn't hear you she rolled her eyes. Like what?! I'm literally giving your store money by purchasing something HOW are you irritated? They're like DMV employees.. annoyed if you even walk in there. I came here to see if I was the only person Daria is incredibly rude to as I am constantly confused why she is so abrasive to me each time I come in. Unfortunately I see many reviews saying the same thing from years ago and the problem still persists. The other employees have been delightful but for some reason Daria is quite mean and acts like scanning in your package in is a major inconvenience. She purposely mumbles responses to your questions, as if you are annoying her, and when you ask for clarification she gets a bit nasty. Whoever owns this store might want to invest in some anonymous customers to survey the quality of customer service provided by the employees here because good lord was this an experience. I've never had an employee seem more disinterested in assisting me. I walked in shortly after the store opened and the store was completely empty. I simply needed to take a passport photo and mail my paperwork. Easy enough, right? Well, I waited by the front desk and eventually a female employee appeared from the back of the store, stood about 15 feet away from me and just stared at me. Made me feel like I had just walked into her living room or something. She never said "good morning," or "how can I help you"...she just stared in a way that said "what now." I said I'd like a passport photo and she said no. Mind you, I could barely hear her because she was standing so far away and refused to perform the basic courtesy of walking closer to make communicating easier. I asked if this store provides passport photos and she very curtly stated "11:30." There's no signage that says passports after 11:30 a.m. and nothing on the store's website states this information, so what gives? Rather than waste time demanding a manager or losing my temper, I left and walked up to Nassau street to another UPS store where the employee not only assisted me with the passport photo, but he was polite and helpful. When I told him about my experience here he stated she probably didn't want to be bothered. No kidding. No wonder this place has a one star average. read more

I was searching for a UPS Mailbox in Downtown Manhattan when I stumbled upon this location at 64 Beaver Street. The staff were very friendly, helping me get my mailbox set up right away. Since I wasn't sure how long I would need mailbox, I initially went with a 3 month subscription. When it came time to renew I did so immediately. The service here is excellent and I rarely have to wait. This location is more spacious than your average UPS Store, where there's plenty of room to consolidate your mail and packages for travel. I also appreciate the handy email notifications they send out when your packages arrive. I've never lost a package and I trust the team here with my deliveries. These guys allowed me to purchase shipping insurance on my $2800 TV without telling me that there are specific shipping procedures for being able to actually claim said insurance. $200 later and a BBBBAAAADDDDLLY cracked TV. UPS has denied my claim. The worst part is!!!! I HAVE NEITHER THE INSURANCE FUNDS NOR MY TOP OF THE LINE TV!!!! UPS shipped my TV back to this store after evaluating my TV and denying my claim and this store WONT SHIP MY TV BACK without me paying YET AGAIN for to ship my TV back to me. I repeat! I have NO TV nor the insurance funds. I'll be taking these guys to small claims court IMMEDIATELY. The least they could do is either refund the shipping charges or send my expensive ass TV back to me so that i can attempt to repair it!!! If i pups give them 0 stars I would. I so wish i could "Yelp" UPS HQ too. This situation is BEYOND REDICULOUS.... that I won't even get the TV back without paying another $150-$200. I am RED with anger over this 2.5 month long process and 10-14 calls to end up with NOTHING!!! read more
