We used this store and UPS to transport two packages both going to the DC area. One package was for open delivery and the other we paid a premium for delivery last Saturday in time for Mother's Day. The package for open delivery was delivered on Saturday, and the special Saturday delivery is now going to be delivered this Tuesday or Wednesday. We paid triple the cost for the Saturday delivery. The owner of said store is now basically saying that it is UPS problem and not his. And he may be somewhat correct but he has been totally rude and unwilling to help resolve the situation. I was charged TRIPLE for sending the same package!!! It is a reusable box for shipping paintings. I shipped the same exact box to Manhattan in July through them and the cost was $91. I went in yesterday morning to ship it to a closer destination-Portsmouth NH, and the cost was over $300!! After I questioned it, the guy said it was based on the size of the box. I said it was the EXACT same box...it didn't grow!! I asked him to look up my account to see the last shipment and he said he couldn't! They are a nightmare! I sent a package that was supposed to be at the location in Pennsylvania on 7 July. I was told by UPS to go in and see him and he would take care of it. So, he has not taken care of it plus he didn't really care. He took other customers while I was waiting easily 45 minutes. Today is the 11th and they still do not know where the package is and they're supposed to call me or email me which they have not done. Great staff at this location. I was in there today to send a package to my Mother. The young ladies at check out are so sweet and when I was worried that my Mother wouldn't get her package in time for Mother's Day, they both went on the computer to see if other nearby UPS stores could get it there quicker. We didn't have luck but their willingness to help me was so appreciated. Jazzy is so sweet, very professional and super helpful. I had a package delivered here. When I arrived tjere was a man with several items--golf clubs included-- which were not in boxes or ready to ship. Another person had 10 items that needed to be input one at a tome with a long code. They made everyone wait for close to half an hour while they handled this. It took two people to figure out the code thing.The other clerk was measuring the clubs, trying to decode how to box it. It all felt totally inefficient. It took me thirty seconds to get my package. Maybe haggle about box sizes after the line out the door has been dealt with? read more

I spoke to someone from this location over the phone,I let him know the that I was calling in response to their reply to my yelp review...he informs me the only one who has access is the owner ,who's in India for the next 6 months!!! He had no knowledge or interest in continuing the conversation,as he said he had customers,and was trying to run a store,if it wasn't for hard working people like myself,there would be no stores,to run...myself and 10 other waited from 830...till at least 9:15...which meant most of us was late for work,but since I still needed my packages processed,I had to go all the way to Sharon!!!! I had all of the necessary paperwork that stated I do NOT need any boxes or packaging... only the paperwork and that they would provide the packaging. So their website says they open at 8:30 but.......get here and there is a sign on the door that they have new hours and open at 11. They wonder why their reviews are all negative. No less than 12 cars waiting for them to open and a slew of pissed off people already drove off. I needed something notarized and made an appointment at this UPS location. I received a confirmation and planned my day around the appt to get a a document notarized. The notary, who is the owner, just didn't show up. One young clerk said he " vanished". I spoke to another young lady who was supposed to be in charge and she said he didn't come in and hasn't been answering his phone. She tried him again and he did answer the phone this time and said he would not be in. This was a time sensitive issue. I have heard there were a lot of issues with management here. I'm not sure if this location is under new management or not because some of the older negative reviews are NOT what I experienced today here at all. Great customer service!! I had three, perishable items needing packaging and shipping and the original estimate was very high due to shipping location rates so I advised them that I would only be shipping one of the packages. Instead of turning me away they proceeded to look at any options that might fit my shipping needs and I appreciate the time taken to do this. The store was very busy and judging by the line, they didn't really "need" my business but took the time to help and were able to find a solution for my shipping needs. In a time when services are rigid and businesses often shrug their shoulders and just say nothing can be done, I truly appreciated them taken the time to see what, if anything, could be worked out. I have gone to the Canton UPS location several times to drop off a package and the guy that took my package (while displaying a look and attitude) that I was inconveniencing him by dropping off the package. Last week I dropped off a package again but this time there was a young lady being helped by him and he greeted her and told her to have a nice day,however when the woman that was next in line and myself did not receive such a greeting or the have a nice day. So unfortunately this location of "UPS STORE" was selected to ship heirloom fine crystal across the country to family. On time arrival of package revealed 11 DEMOLISHED 50 year old crystal Waterford glasses and vase. I was so exited to receive this shipment and I am left utterly heartbroken. This box on arrival has zero indication of fragile contents; in fact it is the same box from the attic that the items were brought to the store in. My crime . . . for pack and ship service wanted to see that my items were packed and that the box had the right shipping label on it.
