Inconsistent Service & Unacceptable Attitude I visit this UPS Store regularly, and every time feels like a gamble. Some days the employees are friendly and helpful, but more often than not, I feel like I'm walking on eggshells. Today was by far the worst experience I've had. I walked in with returns while an employee--either Kirsten or Kristen--was vacuuming. From the moment she approached me, her attitude was hostile. No greeting, no professionalism--just a sharp "How can I help you?" in the most irritated tone, as if helping a customer was a burden. I'm sorry, but if stopping vacuuming to help a customer is such an inconvenience, maybe this isn't the right job. This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable in any customer-facing role. If I had another option in town, I would take it in a heartbeat. This location seriously needs to work on customer service training. The attitude from this employee was rude, uncalled for, and honestly embarrassing for a national brand like UPS. Do better read more

This store unfortunately is involved in predatory business practices and I'd never recommend using this location. I'm a long time UPS store box holder and was visiting this area and needed to have 2 packages delivered while I was there. I called in advance and they said it would be $10 per package to have them delivered to the store. This alone seemed excessive but I agreed. When I went to pick the packages up they claimed it's $10 per day per package and even tried to charge me for a Sunday when they are completely closed. This supposed policy isn't written anywhere and is a complete money grab. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I had a package sent to this location, and they charge $10 a day until you pick it up. There is no mention of this fee on their website or the UPS website. They effectively hold your package hostage until you pay this unreasonable charge. This policy also applies to UPS Air and 2nd Day Air envelopes. The store attaches a handwritten label to the package stating the $10 per day fee. read more

I stopped in in a panic to get some important documents post marked and shipped off. Haley was PRIMO in Custer ice. She was calm, happy, patient and informative. She provided me step by step instructions, ensured I had copies and proof of my transaction for legal and tracking purposes. Hands down the best customer service I have seen in a long long time!!! Great job!! I had to run back in several days later to sign/scan some more legal paperwork. Again, the customer service was superb. We recently vacationed in Orange Beach and took 2 packages to the Orange Beach UPS store to be sent to our home. The first package arrived. The second package has not. I have done the tracking number and it says label printed. Corporate UPS told me they could not do anything, that it would have to be done by the Orange Beach UPS store. I have called them (OB) multiple times this week and there is NO ANSWER. I did speak to one lady who said she was subbing because all the employees were fired. She did not call me back as promised either. I was told the owner of the Orange Beach UPS also owned the Foley AL UPS. I tried to call them as well without answer. I tried to submit a claim and it came back as you cannot file claim. All I want is my package. Does that seem to much to ask for the $152.74 we spent with insurance?? I would love to hear from the owner. read more

Simply put, phenomenal people work at the OB UPS store!!!!! Specifically Catalina, who took the time to carefully pack our items with such care, it's mind boggling to us that people like her and her coworkers are in the world. Our package was delayed(which doesn't matter to us) as a result of her exceptional attention to detail. She communicated the delay on our shipping box. The OB UPS employees care! Accountability is important to myself and my family. To see others adhere to that quality is inspiring! We cannot thank Catalina and her coworkers enough for caring about our memories! My medical supplies were shipped to my OB hotel via FedEx. I wasn't there as I'd become ill. Despite speaking with the hotel, somehow the box of much needed items arrived at the OB UPS Store. A very dedicated employee, MiRann (I hope that's her correct name,) took the initiative to locate and telephone me. Because of this concerned and kind woman, I have my medical supplies a day earlier than expected. When I'm back in Orange Beach, I will thank her personally. I will also give this store any business I may have. My local UPS Store carries fun cards and always makes at least $25 when I go there. I'll buy my cards at this terrific Orange Beach location now! Hoping one star isn't too much?!!! This is by far the most poorly run business that my husband and I have come across in a long time. We had been forced to use their service because of our travel schedule, but have now run, not walked to the local post office instead. For the last year or so since the business was sold, we have not bothered to learn employees names. They don't last! They are now on the fourth manager! They messed up on our package shipping and then refused to take responsibility for their mistakes. One manager will tell you one thing and then either quit or get fired and the owner of the store will deny any knowledge! We would not recommend this Orange Beach Alabama UPS Store to our enemies! Stay away, save your money and use the post office for mailboxes and package delivery. The post office is 1/3 the cost with friendly faces that will be there for the long haul! I had to ship an expensive item. I took it to the UPS store in Orange Beach, Al., had them package and then paid extra for the insurance. The item was damaged and when I filed the claim I really received the run around. This has been going on since August. The claim has finally officially been denied due to the fact that the company the item was shipped to did not save the original packaging material. Do you know of any company that saves all the packaging material when they get a package? When we receive shipments, boxes are immediately broken down and put out for recycling. This was never relayed to me that it was a condition of the insurance. Very poor service. read more

I needed a couple things printed. The staff were very friendly and great costumer service.

Robbed! I went and asked how much it costs to print and notarize a bill of sale. He said $15 for a notary and $5.99 per page printed. I had him notarize all 3 copies of the bill of sale since they printed. My total was $96! I thought I was paying for the service not per page to be notarized! When I scoffed at the price, he then told me that was per document. I could have gone to my bank around the corner and not paid anything for the notary service but thought since I had to get the document printed then I would just pay the $15 and notarize the copies of the bill of sale while I was there. I will never go to this business again and will make sure all my friends, neighbors and business know about this bad experience! read more

I generally have good customer service at these stores in Knoxville. This one, not so much. Went in to ask about a price for shipping a painting and the lady working acted like we were disturbing her. We gave her the dimensions and she snorted and looked up a "generic" price. When we advised we have the painting in the back of the vehicle and would like to get an exact price with the employee discount I get from my place of business, she grabbed a tape measure and stormed around the register towards the door. I decided to stop her and advise don't worry about it, we will go someplace else. I guess she could tell I was a little pissed and changed her tune real quick .. like a completely different person. Now she wanted to help. Nice try .. I will strap the shit to the top of the vehicle and drive it back to Knoxville before I give you one red cent of my money.
