I'm sure that it's because they don't want to talk to actual people about the absolutely horrible service they provide. I filed a claim in September, followed up on it about a month later only to be told that it was delayed because they were still looking for the package. Needless to say I was extremely upset. I was finally able to get to someone who promised me that they would escalate my inquiry. That was two months ago and I have not heard from them. I tried to contact them today only to get a total run around. Their automated system said that the claim was denied although I haven't received any communication from FedEx whatsoever. No matter what I try I am unable to get to a live person. The claim was for one box out a five piece shipment. The five boxes made up one total item that I was returning. Because one box didn't make it I couldn't receive a refund for the return of the item. Now I am out not only the cost of the item (the return window closed) and the cost of shipping an item that never made it!! How does that seem reasonable? If I could rate FedEx lower than not good I would do it in a heartbeat

They offer several different logistics options here like FedEx, DHL, and even USPS! I technically love the USPS flat rate boxes when sending packages to my family and friends. The fact that this venue helped me pick the right options that made the most sense like shipping times, signage options, size of boxes was a winner for me. I had insurance on the package; they said they put it on her porch. The picture of the porch they put on did not match my granddaughter's porch. When I first approached them, they said the driver had delivered it to the wrong address. They advised me to go back to the store where I sent the packet from. I did that. The store filed a claim for me. The insurance said the package was on the right porch. All I received from UPS was the runaround; they took my money and lost my package. The outcome: no recovery, I just got tired of going back and forth. UPS isn't a reliable company, and I will never deal with UPS again. All I got was the merry-go-round.
