I have been to this UPS store in The Trails, many, many times. It's the closest to my home. However, I recently tried another UPS store (the new one on LPGA) and the staff there is so much more pleasant. For whatever reason, the majority of the workers at the UPS trails location are not very nice. Not sure if they hate their job, have no interpersonal skills or what. From now on I drive twice the distance to have dealings with workers who actually greet you with a smile and are nice to deal with. read more

have many packages (six to 8+ times a month) Everyone no matter who helps you, they are professional. They have full knowledge of what they are doing and what's to be done. ( I seem to need their help a lot) All of the staff is happy and kind. I appreciate doing business with the UPS store. NOW, what's awesome is that they have this automatic machine? (I don't exactly what the name for it is) BUT, if the store is busy & you are in a hurry or want to do your return by yourself You scan your package, it asks questions, gives you the label to put on your package & then gives you a receipt!!! Would rate them a 0 if it was there. They are adding 4 inches to each dimension of your package. IMHO that is fraudulent. That means your package is costing more to ship than it should. Let me say that the staff here is incredibly nice and helpful. There is nothing wrong with the staff. The reason for 3 stars is the lack of staff and incredibly long and slow lines all day everyday. There needs to be 3 registers going at a time when there are lines. But there is always a bunch of people having to package and pack stuff. They legit have work to do but they are so busy with packages that they can't process customers quick enough. I always am waiting in a super long line. Today I was sparked to write this review because the line was out the door to the parking lot. C'mon UPS, get this place in order and give the employees the help they need. There should also literally be a person who just handles amazon returns and knocks them out. My visit is literally 2 minutes long but I'm waiting for people for 15+ minutes for whatever nonsense they have going on. read more

Would rate a 0 if possible. These people charge more than twice as much as the REAL UPS location. Consumers must know the difference! I had to take a quick flight to El Paso TX. I mistakenly forgot my CPAP machine. My wife stopped in same day and inquired the cost to overnight. $213 later I received a labeled one day but actually received a three day ship. These people knew all along it would NOT be received overnight. They would have needed to drop my package at the REAL UPS center-which they would NEVER go out of their way. This was a medical situation- I needed that machine. This conversation went nowhere with this woman. GREED and more greed is what they are good at! The gentleman that owns the store is as rude on the phone, both to me and as I listened to him speak with a customer, as he is in person. Twice he has been condescending and rude, to me. One bad experience, maybe they are having a bad day, twice, perhaps working with people isn't suited for them. His notary services are incredibly slow, and he doesn't need to be looking at paperwork that does not need notarization. The women working there are always kind and helpful. Then he asked me for the Qcode and I asked him where to get that? His response was "no idea". Another customer finally told me it was on the email. This store obviously has a contract with UPS and Amazon. And obviously they have a self service option where you can have everything ready to go and just need to drop it off. If the staff does not want to answer the question, "where am I supposed to put the box that is ready to go?" please have a space with clearly marked signs. It is not OK for the staff member to yell at a customer because I am "bothering him " by asking him where to put stuff. Waiting in line to ask that question after I took the time to get things ready makes no sense! He could've told me nicely the first time. Clearly this is not the place to go. I rented a small mailbox from the UPS Store, it cost me over $200 for 6 months, later the same day I changed my mind and asked about getting a refund they told me no refunds. There were 5 reason's I wanted to cancel: 1) Did not qualify for USPS Informed Delivery 2) I found out that if you forward your mail to them, from that time on the UPS Store is responsible for forwarding your mail in the future, USPS will not handle forwarding from a business address. In essence they own your mail. 3) Cost for a small 6 month UPS Store PO Box $208. Cost for a small 6 month USPS PO Box $97 4) The post office was close to my home, the UPS Store was miles further away. 5) The post office offers refunds though prorated, but it does give refunds. The post office also offers a street address. The post office also holds your packages that are too big to fit. You might ask Well why did I get a mail box from the UPS Store in the first place? Answer: I never seriously considered the differences till after the purchased. I thought a PO box was a PO box they're all alike, I was wrong. read more

I stopped in last week to return a package and per the instructions from the Merchant, it clearly stated that all I needed to do was bring the product and the label and it would be returned. Lily the clerk was absolutely the rudest clerk I have ever encountered at that store! I made the sad mistake of stopping by this UPS store to ship a package. When I walked in , the man behind the counter (tall, thin guy) was talking to the lady at the counter like she was five years old. She was trying to make an Amazon return and he was so condescending and rude. The poor lady was so sweet about it and I felt so horrible for her. Of course I had to speak my piece and walk out without sending my package, because honestly if I had to spend one more second in his presence they would have had to call the cops. While the staff has always been friendly they nickel and dime you to death. I drive all the way out to the UPS store by Seabreeze High School to mail things from now on. They wanted $17 to put stuff in a box and tape it up. If you come in there and your package isn't all the way taped they make you purchase tape instead of just peeling a piece of tape and putting it on. UPS store down by Seabreeze is so much better. They help you package things they tape it up properly and they don't try to charge you an arm and a leg.. as long as it's just one or two pieces of tape they don't charge you anything. The store is absolutely ridiculous only time I will go there is for Amazon returns. read more

I wish I could give them zero stars. We brought in packages to return to Amazon. We selected the UPS Pack and Return option, which was clearly advertised on Amazon's website. The store manager made us pay $70 for boxes and was extremely rude and condescending about it. Said that there was no way that Amazon and the IPS Store has a partnership. We called Amazon and they informed us that the store was incorrect- Amazon and UPS do have a partnership. They called the store while we were on hold and were treated in the same unprofessional manner that we were. My mom came to this UPS store to mail me my birth certificate. A tracking number was issued and 3 days later I checked to see where it was. According to the tracking number, it never left the store. I called to see what happened. After a couple of minutes, the associate told me it was "officially lost". I wasn't happy! I told her that my Mom might come down there and she was pretty upset. They associate told me, "well, as long as she isn't loud, or we will have to throw her out of the store." Yeah, she really said that!!! So now my mother is scared to go and complain or she might be tossed out of the store! So, as long as you don't complain, you won't be thrown out? I'll never ever use UPS again!!! read more

There are a couple of reason for this low mark 1st...went in last week with a return to Amazon, UPS and Amazon have an agreement that all I need to do was take my un packaged items in (provided they are in the original item package)...happened that I was returning chairs, so the original item packing were cardboard boxes, since I ordered 2 on the same order, when I returned them I got 1 code bar...because its 1 order....when I get there the woman at the counter said I had to have 2 code bars...told her I couldn't do that because they were 1 order and amazon wouldn't give me 2...she then said I would have to package them together or she would not accept them...I'm not supposed to have to package them at all. I asked her if she could tape them...she refused. I then told her that this was between UPS and Amazon what they needed, she said...no it's not. I was force to purchase tape in order to get this woman to take my packages. this store needs to train their people on the UPS/Amazon contract. 2nd - they don't have a line...people are all over the place and while most are thoughtful and considerate, it's hard to handle since this store cannot maintain an actual cue line...they could simply put a rope line from the door around the store, instead everyone lines up (when they do get in line) through the store so people walking in re forced to line up by the copier so that there are 20 people standing in the store...stupid. read more

How does a 16 x 13 x 10 inch box costing $36.80 to ship per online calculator become a 17 x 14 x 11 inch box costing $43.67? By bringing it to this UPS store. The box was a custom cut down and even allowing the possibility of subjectivity.....how does what originated as a 16 x 16 inch box grow to 17 inches in any direction? Having said that, the other dimensions were meticulously measured prior submitting to the online calculator and to arriving at the store. Why would a UPS store that gets a percentage of shipping sold be inaccurate with their measurements? read more

I was gifted a 50 year old China set that needed to be shipped back to my residence in Colorado. I originally visited a shipping store around the corner from UPS that quoted over $600. Not only did UPS ship my items for 1/3 of what I was quoted elsewhere but the staff was incredibly courteous and helpful. I received all the items in perfect condition and was extremely pleased with the quality of packing. I would recommend this store 100x over for any item that you can't put a price tag on.
