Unbelievably rude and completely lacking basic empathy. I went into this store to print and fax urgent documents. I am currently dealing with a major digital security compromise and a pending police report, meaning I cannot safely access email on my phone and needed to use their customer computer. The customer computer was down. Instead of offering an alternative workaround to help a customer in a crisis, the employee (male with a dark beard, glasses, face mask, and hat) was incredibly curt, rigid, and dismissive. He flat-out refused to help, stating, "This is a business," and even lied by saying he didn't know the address of a nearby sister store to avoid looking it up. I literally stood in front of him and called the Menlo Park UPS store. They immediately agreed to help me print my documents using alternative methods, despite having the exact same technical outage. When I told this employee that the other store was willing to assist, he just gave a lazy, "Sorry, I can't." Avoid this location. If you expect standard problem-solving or decent human customer service, go to the Menlo Park location instead. They actually care about helping people. read more

Never had an issue with returns or shipments for years at this location until they lost a package with $400 worth of returned clothing. I trusted them so much that I got lazy at asking for a receipt thinking it was unnecessary and more eco-friendly. Suspicious that the box had a prominent logo on it. Always ask for a receipt especially for something that looks valuable. read more

I visited this UPS Store location because I was in the area for an optometry appointment. I came in to drop off a package to be returned to Amazon. Upon entrance, the employee greeted me and helped me right away. I showed the return QR code sent to me in the email. It was quick and seamless. The employee finished the transaction and wished me a good day. The store is clean and friendly service. No complaints! read more

Been here plenty of times to pack stuff. Staff has been friendly and easy going. Parking can be hard to find and the store is much smaller than some of the other stores in other areas. read more

Bad experience, wouldn't let my brother get my package, made him wait 30 minutes when he had all the information needed to get my package. Because of it, there charging me extra money to hold my package when I called the store a week earlier and a worker said it was fine if someone else picked it up on my behalf. THE WORST UPS Store on earth! Questions: Do you like rude people and ridiculously overpriced PO Boxes (more than $1,000 a yr!)? Well, then this is the place for you! Peggy the incredibly rude hypertension manager will disregard you in a mere moment from any norm issue, and this understaffed Russian bread line of a branch UPS Store leaves so-so-so much to be desired. It is slower than a sloth cage in there, usually pretty messy and run down (even before remodeling), and most of the staff generally you get an overall vibe that they really don't care. But worst of all is the criminal pricing of their PO Boxes and some other services. It is absolutely beyond ridiculous is a miniscule 4"x4" PO Box cost over ONE THOUSAND dollars per year!?!? This is an atrocious and egregious act towards fellow businesses. read more

We have had this UPS store as our main mail location for 1.5 years. Peggy helped set it up, explaining how it would work. We were very apprehensive never doing this before & trusting a place. Peggy & Albert, however, quickly alleviated our concerns & have been awesome. Always helpful forwarding mail to us out of state on short notice, starting & stopping on certain dates. Never confusion. They answer emails. Great hours. Safe neighborhood. Parking around the corner convenient. We know if we give them instructions they will do it right. There are many locations to get mail. We are really happy with the services & what was initially chosen as short term solution, will continue because of great service. Highly recommend. read more

Do NOT go here. Go to Town and Country UPS Store instead if possible. After she heard me saying my laptop was broken (I meant the software was wiped out), she had the employee write "laptop is broken" on some paper I had to sign. If I didn't comply, she would refuse my business. My guess she had cases of people sending broken things in the past and claiming they were working. She was really rude and made you feel you were a scammer. I also paid $12 for a box with some bubble wrap (?) on top of the shipping cost. Then went down to $10 after I asked. I am sure a change in management would make this place a great location to ship packages! read more

Agree with Shirley. STAFF DO NOT CARE Walk in and the staff seem unhappy and grumbly as hell. As I entered one was sitting on floor! and the others were in the back playing on their phones, made customers feel uncomfortable or as if we walked into their frat house. AVOID this horrible environment. Better locations at Town and Country or Menlo Park. I phoned corporate UPS and was told some locations are independent franchises, even though they appear to be UPS owned. To the owner: you need to hire better staff and pay them more . These people seem underpaid and are not very interested in the current employment. You will lose business as yelp goes from barely 2-stars down to 1-star. You've been advised! I want to echo the comments of the other reviewer about their big sign in the front lobby about not accepting liability for dropped off packages in their store. I bought a very expensive Kindle book reader from Amazon.Com that did not work for me so I repackaged it up and sent it back via UPS by taking it to this store. I can understand that this store does not want to take responsiblity for lost of stolen packages, but - 1. Just because they put up a sign saying they do not have liablity don't make it so. 2. Just why else would people go to this store that says UPS with the UPS shield on it except to send packages off. Accepting UPS packages and using the UPS branding and trademarks and then trying to distance themselves to me seems bad, wrong, still, and irritating. So ... I walked in with my package, and upon getting the counter, after reading the disclaimer sign I gave the surly clerk my package. He took it and started to go on to the next person. Huh, I asked him for a receipt, whereupon he started launching in on me about liability! First, it would be stupid to leave something valueable at the store and not get some kind of receipt, but second, what does his disclaimer have to do with my asking for a receipt? Answer is NOTHING. His needless and counter-productive comments about how the store is not responsible for my item really angered me unnecessarily, and there was no need for it. I have seen this same kind of behavior at several of these UPS stores as well. I do not know exactly what their problem is or if this is an untrained clerk, but he was so confrontative that I wanted to smack him in the nose for being rude and a jerk. I can well understand why a buisness would not want to accept liability for someone who comes by and opens the door and throws a package in or lies about sending a package and tries to put the blame on UPS, and I support efforts any business would need to take to prevent that kind of thing. BUT, when I come by with a legitimate package for UPS to a store that works with and uses UPS's branding and gets business because of their association with UPS, I do not appreciate attendant's reluctance to print out and give me a receipt, and I do not need attitude about how they do not want to accept blame if they lose my package. I said to the guy, first, you are going to talk yourself out of business, because people go there because they say they are UPS, and accept packages for UPS, why else. if people did not they would be out of business. Second, I was so mad I said to him - just don't lose my package and that will solve both or our problems. From talking with owner's of these stores my understanding is that they are not part of UPS and do not use the same brown color as UPS, but they do use the UPS shield and branding, so it is very confusing. If they are going to accept packages from people, they should without asking provide their customers with a receipt and a tracking number. I have only had that happen one time in maybe 10 times of visiting these stores. All the other times I have had to ask for a receipt and have gotten treated rudely just for asking. I hope someone monitors these reviews and can perhaps explain why this is such a big issue and why it is an unpleasant thing to go into one of these stores to drop off a package? Please! read more

I came in to send an early b'day package today before moving & being overwhelmed w/ helping unpacking & organizing everything next week & inevitably never finding what I needed to send in the midst of all the moving chaos. The guy at the counter was super helpful in assisting w/ selecting the right box size & packaging material, including packing everything up for me & looking up estimated shipping dates to ensure it wouldn't arrive while they were away on vacation. Def using UPS over FedEx in the future, if not just for the professional customer service. read more

I think some of the negative reviews are based on old experiences. I've had a mailbox here for a couple of years and have been very happy with the service. So happy that I'm staying with them even though I moved to a new location where another UPS store is much closer. The people who work here are really friendly and efficient. They know who you are and this is really great when you need help when you're out of town. I travel on long trips frequently and they've been great on alerting me or forwarding stuff when needed. They're also really helpful in packing stuff and helping me when I've got a ton of items to pick up. The only negative would be in the pricing, but the service is worth it. read more

There was a line when I arrived and only one person attending to customers while another associate worked on something else. I always get a little worried when I'm going to be at a place long because I'm with my infant son who Sometimes gets impatient (7m in a stroller). The associate assisted customers very quickly and efficiently, I was out within 5 minutes. Very professional and courteous. read more

I came here to ship a broken blu ray player. The service was great. Both employees were extremely thorough with helping me get through the paperwork and adding extra padding into the box. I had to come back because I forgot to write a number on the package. They retrieved it from the back room like it was no big deal. I'm definitely going back. read more

Rude folks. Went to ship some items and person name Bablu stood behind the counter and asked me to wait for someone to help me. I waited 10 minutes and kindly asked if Bablu could help while he was standing there. He was very rude and said, JUST WAIT! Then I was asking some questions regarding the liability of the store for sending packages and he interrupted and said, " if you don't like our policy, go somewhere else!" The team at the Bryant Street UPS were great. First, doing a really careful job of packing some vases and pictures --- and then the beyond the call. My packages were sent back to the shop in the midst of the chaos of the coronavirus. They were great about tracking the packages and then holding the returned boxes until the Philadelphia distribution center was back to functioning --- and ultimately reshipping. Really stepped up in a difficult situation. read more
