I don't ship too often and when I do it usually is of personal nature. I've used FedEx just down the road and several times this UPS Store. It is a smaller place and can be busy. I normally see one to two people working the counter. What I am shipping and whether it is personal or business dictates usually where I go. I've shipped electronics, perishables and gifts. Each time if I had questions they helped. Service is pretty efficient but rarely a smile or a thank you or have a good day. My packages are shipped and arrive so I guess that's what matters most which is what I am rating this UPS Store on. I guess if you want a smile then perhaps a different location or FedEx. read more

They say they want to earn back their customers, with new management, but when myself (6-months pregnant) and my mom (who is 59 with a bad back) are sitting in front of the store struggling from the moment we got our HUGE BASKETBALL HOOP out of the car to the store employee , the guy sat there laughing at us from behind the counter. We were struggling on our way in and said "a little help would be nice" and he said "oh okay" NOT ONE DID HE FLINCH TO HELP, he sat his ass behind the desk still laughing. The manager was right behind him and not once said anything to the employee that he should've handled that better or apologize, and he continued the return with a smirk on his face, laughing. When we called about the incident, they manager said "oh well we didn't hear anything" DESPITE US BRINGING IT UP IN THE STORE. They are terrible, and 0 stars in the appropriate rating for a store like this. read more

The worst. Go to the one in Brookfield. The geriatric behind the counter was beyond rude and condescending. This is one mom and pop shop that should be closed for good. Awful, awful, awful. I came in with my label printed on printer paper, because I'm not a shipping location, and was told, in a condescending, smart ass way, that I should have affixed it prior to coming in this shit-shop myself...they have the protective sleeve at the store, which they are supposed to adhere for you, for just such an occasion. The 1000 year old jackass behind the counter, was not having it today...total jerk! Zero customer service. I guess you don't want to build any type of loyalty...is that why the gas station next door is also a ups pick up and drop off point?! I went to the one in Brookfield, and the guy immediately grabbed my printed label and put it in the protective sleeve, and stuck it on the box...you know, like a normal person would! I explained my recent experience at the Silvernail location, and he said: "Not the first time I've heard that"!! If you're an old fart, that hates your job...then quit. Hang it up. I rent mailbox at this store. Have all my Amazon package ship here. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The staff is very fast and efficient. Just renew my mailbox for another year. read more

I have to come here and ship items from time to time and the grumpy old man that works here makes me dread doing drop offs. Today I dropped something off and had 3 packages. After scanning in the first package, I asked which one he wanted to do next and he snapped back with "I don't care". Listen, I don't care either but I need to conduct business here. You might not like your job but here we are, doing a transaction. Let's make the best of it. I'm not sure if the older gentleman who works @ The Silvernail UPS Store is the owner or an employee. Whichever he happens to be, he should seriously consider a career change, preferably one where he doesn't work w the public because he obviously does not like people! Rather than treat you like a paying customer, he behaves as though you stormed his home at 2 AM, awoke him from his slumber & demanded he ship a free of charge! I went into this store about four years ago to see about renting a box to receive mail. I had such a terrible experience with the person working there, I didn't rent a box and left thinking, "Never again!" Since late 2020, this store has been under new ownership and management. It was a much-needed and delightful improvement! I am so glad I went back in and rented the box I needed. I am in the store on a weekly or twice-weekly basis because I receive anywhere between 10-30 books a week (I'm a reviewer with a national publication). The owners and staff know me by name and I've seen them interact with many, many other customers. They are friendly, eager to please, and address questions/concerns promptly and with the customer in mind. And that can be a tough job considering a couple of the rude customers I've witnessed in the store. I am so grateful for their service and am glad it's going well for them! read more

I have always gone to this store and referred others as well. Unfortunately I will not be doing this anymore. In the recent past the store was purchased by someone new. The owner is not friendly. The old staff left because of reasons due to the change in ownership. The staff was so friendly, helpful and went above and beyond. This has totally changed now. I didn't mind paying more for extraordinary service! I will go somewhere else. read more

The owner was incredibly rude and condescending. It felt like it was inconvenient for him to have me show up there. There were no other customers at the time. The owner claimed to have no idea how Amazon returns work but also said he had done 9 Amazon returns that day. Once I figured it out he said, "See? It is really easy once you give me the right information." People don't remember what you say, but how you make them feel. In a world with lots of buying options, I will make sure to avoid having to use this store as a shipping option. read more
