Based on Yelp reviews this was the best (in fact the only one with a positive review) in my area so I drove a bit out of my way since I had an odd job. I recently moved from Los Angeles, CA and had to return the Spectrum Internet modem. Spectrum has a program setup with UPS that allows you to return equipment free of charge for shipping and packaging. But since Phoenix is serviced by Cox cable I figured this would be an odd request. They lived up to their reputation. I explained to them the situation and they figured out what needed to be done in a relatively short time and I was on my way. I complimented them on their great job and that they were the only UPS store with a high rating in the area. Will definitely go there for all my shipping needs. read more

Fantastic customer service, always greeted upon entering, and the staff is quick and efficient. They've helped me plenty with shipping packages, especially with Christmas. Never had an issues, and everything is delivered in a timely manner. read more

I ordered some caffeine melts that would have melted being outside until I got home so I had them delivered to the UPS store near me. I walked in and stood and waited while the staff (including the assistant manager, who finally helped me) finished their conversation. I explained that I had a delivery to pick up at which point I was told I would be charged a $5 fee for having it delivered there. I told him that was ridiculous, and explained that because of this I won't be doing business with them in the future. His response was, "Okay." I don't recommend using this location. read more

To avoid porch pirates I asked a sender to direct ship to this store knowing that UPS drivers deliver multiple times a day. The package arrived earlier than stated so I picked up on second day. The owner very rudely stated there would be a $5/day charge. Completely ridiculous charge considering it was easier on driver. I will never use this store or UPS going forward. Thx FedEx read more

I literally walked in the store both I believe the manager and the person the counter both looked at me continue what they were doing did not say hello did not greet me at all only scanned my barcode to return my item and gave me my confirmation paper and that's it very rude. I would never recommend to come to this location. I have never been treated like that returning the package. read more

My neighborhood UPS store. They have served me for years and I have never been in doubt. Super friendly staff that is always friendly. They get busy but make time to greet you and acknowledge your presence. Once they service you they are a joy to work with. I have used them for shipping, boxes, mail, postage as well as a lockbox. They do have a postal mail drop off inside where the mailman picks up mail daily. read more

The package arrived smashed and I must admit My first thought was did anything fall out in shipping! The impossibility of that was made clear when I opened it to discover how efficiently and securely it had all been combined into bundles. Everything was accounted for in spite of. What appears to have been a rough trip getting here.Everything was nestled in air pillows, items were carefully wrapped and taped. The manner in which each bundle was arranged inside indicated a level of care and skill by the staff at this location. The overall impression was that my items being shipped back to my home in Texas had been placed in very capable hands. This level of expertise and customer service care is something we have gotten used to not getting. I would describe this as a concierge level of service. Well now. I have lived in this neighborhood and have used this UPS store for years. DO NOT use their Notary service. I called earlier today to see if they offered this service. Yes I was told. Would be available until 3 PM. Then I mentioned I need notary for Healthcare Power of Attorney & Medical Living Will. My husband & I arrived about 11:20. The "kids" at the front desk were helpful. Told me he'll be with you in 5-10 minutes. So we waited and waited. Later, one of the clerks apologized to me for the delay. We continued to wait & wait. After waiting for almost an hour my husband said let's go. It will not happen. Once again the clerk apologized as we left the store. So on a side note I feel used and the clerks were used as well. I get it that young people don't want to work. Who would want to "work" in this condition. Yes I am a senior and yes I worked for over 40 years as a nurse and I almost always felt valued. These fine young people are not valved. Our younger generation are trying but one can only take so much. I have a choice. I choose not to step inside this store again. read more

DO NOT USE UPS, OR AT LEAST THIS STORE, FOR PRINTING SERVICES! I uploaded a document online and went through the UPS website to provide the specifics for the document. 202 pages, double sided, bound with a clear front and black plastic back. The website said that the document would be ready in 24 hours and gave me the time it would be ready. It also sent me an email confirming the location where I was to pick up this document. When I got to the store, the owner/manager didn't have a clue that I'd ordered the document. He called his folks back from lunch. My document had not been printed. I waited another 20 minutes or so for the document to be printed. Not good, but it gets worse. I get the document. 202 pages, printed double sided is around 1 inch thick. They put a 2 1/2 inch plastic binder on it. The person told me it was the only one they had. I left the store and then went back and returned the document. If I'm going to spend $20 for a document to be printed and bound, I think it should be done professionally and look right. The 2 1/2 inch plastic rings looked comical on the 101 page document. Now I'm starting over. This store may be good for other things. It is not good for printing. read more

I have never had a complaint about anything I have encountered at this store. Returning things to Groupon, sending things at the holidays, just the everyday things, the staff always has been polite and helpful! I need that because sometimes the little things that should seem so easy, go over my head sometimes, (the return to groupon) . These people fix that for me. I can't give you a better recommendation than that! I don't like the parking lot at the center they are in but usually can park very near to the store. Until I did this review, I didn't know they had a notary! One more thing I can start using them for! read more

About three weeks ago, rather than go to the bank as usual, I went to the UPS store to get a document notarized. Got an email from the recipient that the notary had not signed the paper when he notarized it. No big deal right? So I get my new document that had been overnighted and go back. I explained to the gentleman at UPS what had happened. He asked me when, and I said I didn't quite remember and could he look back see if he saw my name. This was a mistake and that's when he started being quite rude and acting as though he was very put upon. He insisted that I give him the date or the original document. I don't have that anymore, because it had been sent off. And that's when he made a really big deal of having flip through his notary book. I asked if he was going to charge me again and he said yes. For their mistake. At this point I guess he just wanted me to leave, so he notarized the new one, and handed it to me and did not charge me. I was at the point of saying just to give back my paperwork and I'll go someplace where the people aren't rude and actually know what they're doing.Maybe the guy as having a bad day. Maybe the guys mask was too tight. Either way no need to be rude the way he was. I've gone there for years and always has exemplary service. Won't go back. read more

Recently I went to a post office because it was on my way but after I had waited in line they told me I had to buy tape to tape my boxes shut. DEVON AND THIS UPS STORE COULD BE STEALING YOUR AMAZON RETURNS: Went in and gave their employee, Devon, about $150 worth of Amazon returns and left before realizing I forgot to grab the return receipt. I've had an issue in the past where I drop off Amazon returns and they never get to Amazon so I usually make sure to get the return receipt. I called a few hours later and Devon was very short and snappy with me from the get go. I told her I forgot to ask for the return receipt and she told me there was no way I could get another one and that she wouldn't help whatsoever. I told her I needed it in case my returns never got to Amazon and she immediately jumped to asking if I was accusing "her and her employees of stealing." I wasn't but I said maybe I was since she was so quick to suggest it. She told me I should never come back to her store again. I drove in, spoke to another employee, asked to get a return receipt. Within 5 minutes he printed off a return receipt, I thanked him and went on my way. It was a pleasant experience. If it weren't for the other employee printing off the receipt for me, I would have had no way of proving I actually dropped off my returns and could be out $150 read more

I have been using the store regularly for the last two years, and a couple of minor issues that invariably come up in any business they quickly resolved to my satisfaction even if it wasn't their fault. Lickety-split, it seems I'm always in and out of this place in a jiffy. Why review a UPS Store?? Aren't they all alike?? Absolutely not. The 16th St and Glendale Store keeps addresses stored on their computer so I just give them my phone number, tell them to whom I am shipping, and (assuming it's a repeat destination), and out comes the shipping form - no messy forms. I think most UPS stores have this capability, but many don't bother. Also, they are diligent about sending a status email so I can track the package. Aside from the holidays, it's usually one of the same two guys in there and they are efficient, understand what to do with international addresses, and are kind and courteous. The few times there is a line, they always apologize for the wait and obviously try to be as speedy as possible. Overall, they act and operate like they WANT my business and appreciate it. That's why I keep coming back, forsaking all others (UPS Stores that is). read more

I do not understand why this store has such a high rating. I try to avoid this store at all cost. I had two bad experiences caused by the two older ladies that worked there around christmas 2020. Here's one of them.. I had a package that I just needed to drop off, it was in a box, sealed and already had a prepaid label. There was a drop off only table outside the store with a lady and her scanner. I tried to drop it off with her, but she immediately said just go inside without even asking what I had. It was peak season and there was a long line to go inside. As I was waiting in line, I watched her happily accept all the other drop offs from other customers.
