The only reason it got a high enough score was because of the woman working the counter. The rest is the delivery of my package. I was told that 2 day AM would arrive by the date I needed it there which was be 24hrs before an event I was sending the package for. It never made it to the event and just arrived 2 days AFTER the scheduled time. I called customer service for a refund due to not being there the time I needed and they won't refund. I was never informed of it possibly not getting there, otherwise I would have done overnight. Nor informed that if it didn't arrive I would not receive a refund. read more

Conveniently located in a strip mall with no issues with parking as long as you don't mind walking a bit, there is usually a spot somewhere. I expected the place to be packed right before Christmas but it wasn't. It is possible that all the rush to get packages sent off had already happened, and I was just that late. As long as this location has been open this is my main FedEx Office that I use regularly. What I appreciate about the staff is they take their time. Easy access off Camelback Road allows me to pretend I'm a FedEx delivery dude. I can park right at the front door (provided it's during the normal daytime business hours and I'm not competing with TwinPeaks party goers), run in with my package and have my associates wrap it and ship it post haste. Of course, the people at the counter don't seem to be in as much of a hurry as I am...come on, I'm a delivery dude on a time schedule! They ARE efficient, though, and never have they given me a reason to think they don't know what they're doing. I have confidence my package will be delivered when they say, and the several times I've used them, they have under promised, and over delivered. Plenty of room at this shop, as is the case in the others that I've used, and it's never crowded and plenty of supplies, even greeting cards, office supplies and packing materials you can purchase and take back to the home office. I originally chose this location because it's close to the apartment, but out of the FedEx's I have been to this one is the best. The customer service is great! Despite it being pretty steady with customers, the gentleman still was tending to the other customers whilst opening the door for me as he saw my hands were full of packages. The team there overall is rather friendly and know how to hold conversations while they are helping you out with your packages. The space is well kept... it's clean, organized, and staffed well. Assisting customers seems to be a priority which emanates from the staff. I will choose shipping through here over the post office any time because of it; despite the fact that it's across the street and sometimes even more reasonably priced it's worth it for the quality of service. read more

I was recent in Phoenix for an interview and they were super friendly and helpful. I'm usually a do it myself kinda girl, but on this occasion I was very greatful for the help. My hotel's printers were down and I needed copies made on the fly for my interview. With my standby OfficeMax nowhere conviently nearby, I sought out an alternate. I was greeted when I came in the door. The place was neat, orderly, and well organized. When I told Tim, the gentleman working behind the counter what I needed, not only did he help me on the spot, but he went above and beyond to find the files for me and print the copies for me instead of sending me to a terminal to take care of it on my own. He had me in and out of there with exactly what I needed in 5 minutes and at a very reasonable price. I think OfficeMax just got ousted as my copier "go to" shop! As a sidenote, there's a listing that says this location is closed. I can attest that it is definitely open! It is neatly tucked in between Chili's & The mattress shop so it is hard to spot driving by, but it's worth looking for. read more

I went to this location as it was the closest to my home and was still open (open until 9pm!). I had a package for my godson I had to ship, using an old Amazon box as usual. I walk in and am immediately greeted by the front desk guy who suggested I use a large envelope as it would be much cheaper and grabbed one for me from the counter. He unpackaged and re-packaged everything and got it done within like five minutes. I used to use UPS, but I'll definitely be using FedEx as I think it's cheaper and great service! read more

Great staff helped me to get my print job turned around quick!

I've been going here for the past 3 years since it's the closest one from work. The place is clean and well staffed. I've always been greeted when I walk in and when I leave. All the workers are generally friendly; however, some may stand out more than others. One particular guy, Timothy, always has a smile on his face when he greets me and is very courteous even when they are busy. Since I go there frequently, I feel like I get royal treatments and I must admit...I do enjoy it! I hate getting shocked when I open doors so I usually take my time at the front door. I have to touch the glass then tap the door handles a few times before I get the courage to put my bear hands to open the door. Apparently when I opened the door it wasn't busy inside and like all the staff had been watching me. I kind of got a weird look from them and Timothy says BOO when I walk in and I just respond by saying that I must have looked like an idiot. I was a little embarrassed, but everyone had a good laugh. Our office is moving soon so I hope the new FedEx spot I end up going to is just as great as this place. read more

I had a variety of items to ship from Phoenix to Seattle and I needed a special size box for a metal bistro table and chairs that I disassembled into flat parts. I had two boxes packed, but needed Fed Ex to provide boxes to fit all the other items. I parked close to the store and inside they had a flatbed dolly that I used to load all my items. The employee saw me loading up and came outside to help and bring in the items. He took care of all the remaining packing and found the best size boxes. This took 30 min while I had lunch next door. Their slowest shipping method FedEx ground takes only 4 days to Seattle and is the least costly option. If I had had the correct size boxes I would have saved $40 which was the cost of two large boxes, filler and the packing service (20x20x20 box and 36x36x5 Art Box). The shipping fee for the 5 boxes (3 large and 2 med) was $165. FedEx charges mainly for the size of the box and how far it's traveling. My biggest box was 20x20x20 and weighed 38.7 lbs. and cost $54.49 to ship. It would cost almost the same shipping fee even if it weighted 20 lbs less. read more
