This UPS store currently has hours of morning through evening from Monday through Saturday. Its services include copying, printing, packing, shipping, mailboxes, notary, shredding, scanning, and faxing. So far, I have used this business one time. On a Saturday, I arrived at the store as soon as it opened for the day. An employee unlocked the doors and let me inside the store. The employee immediately asked how she could help me. I had a large package to return to Amazon. The employee immediately scanned the return barcode from my Amazon email. She then applied a label to the package and gave me a receipt. The entire process lasted less than one minute! At the end, the employee told me to have a good day. Later that day, my Amazon account said that I had store credit on a gift card that was credited to my account. read more

I went into the store to copy three emails. I use the one in Cranberry who is always very helpful and it cost me under a dollar for three pieces of paper. I was told to use the computer and put my credit card in and put a $20 hold in and charge me 875 to copy three emails The girl that was working there had nobody else in the store and was not very helpful. Never, ever use the store in Oakland on Pitt's campus. My package was lost and the store manager has been giving me the runaround for 6 months about getting reimbursed for my claim. The UPS support line won't help and keeps redirecting me to the store. The store manager has no updates, or doesn't respond at all, and my tracking number is not even in the system anymore because it's been so long. Parking is also a nightmare. Use literally any other shipping company but this one. read more

Don't waste your time making an appointment for notary services. I went online at 10:00 am to request a notary and they only had one option available (3:00 pm) for the day. I showed up at 2:55 and was told that the notary was not in the store - she had "just left" a few minutes before my arrival to go pick up some office supplies, but I was told she'd be back in 20 minutes. Based on where she had supposedly gone, I knew that was not true. Since I had just come from running an errand at the store next to the office supply place, and it had taken me 20 minutes to get from there to USP, and then it would take another 20 minutes for her to get back, the soonest she could return would be closer to 3:45. Since I had another appointment at 3:30, I said I would come back later, rather than wait around. When I returned to the store at 4:35, I was told that she had come back and had been there "for a couple of hours" but since the store would be closing soon (they close at 6:00), she had gone home for the day. So either the clerk can't tell time, or just flat out lied to me. The clerk suggested I try the Cranberry, store which is a 25 minute from this location. The clerk made no attempt either time I was there to apologize for the inconvenience, and no explanation offered as to why the notary would leave the store to run an errand "a couple of minutes" before she supposedly had an appointment booked with someone to perform a service. In fact, the clerk acted like she was doing me a favor to talk to me at all. Will not be doing business with this store again if I can possibly avoid it. read more

The woman working there the morning of 5/30/24 had the worst attitude I've ever seen from someone in a customer service position. Upon giving her the order number for my Verizon equipment return, she raised her voice, almost to the point of yelling, stating that her computer was running slow. When the number didn't appear in her system on the first try, you would think she would ask to verify if again. Off course that didn't happen. I suppose local businesses are so desperate for employees, they'll hire people from the bottom-of-the-barrel. Service at this location has been fine for the most part between parcel drop-offs, pick-ups and other minor things I've needed to do. They tend to be unpleasant and I've rarely felt welcomed. But I have no interest in supporting a business where the staff can wear political garb at the register (in this case, a Trump hat). Vote for whomever you'd like, but I'll take my business elsewhere. Awful customer service. I was there to make copies and the woman acted like I was an inconvenience. She didn't help even after she saw I was struggling making prints. I ended up leaving without my prints and it cost me $5.00 for the use of the computer. I will not return this UPS. read more

The people at this location are amazing. They are super helpful and go out of there way to make sure I get what I need for my business, whether it's printing or mailing. Big shout out to Pam - thank you for all your help! BTW, I was present when "Sarah M" (1 star review) had her experience with "awful customer service" on May 1, 2021. Pam, who helped Sarah, was more than helpful to her. Sarah came in unprepared to submit her Amazon return and Pam did her best to explain how she could do it correctly. I heard the whole conversation. Sarah was extremely rude and belligerent. Sarah was the problem, not Pam. Don't take Sarah's 1 star review seriously. I felt so strongly about this that I called Sarah out in front of the store full of people. read more

Horrible experience. Female blonde employee was completely rude and not helpful. I would like to preface this poor review by saying that yesterday I went to the same UPS location and had a good experience. I went to the store to print some documents. I am a student and being that all libraries, universities, and non essential businesses are closed due to the virus, UPS is my last resort. I walked in and said I needed to print something. There was another patron using the one computer so the employee asked me to email the store the document and he kindly printed it for me. A process that took all of two minutes. Today it was a complete turn around. I walked into the store today (4/23) around 3:15pm. I told the woman working I needed to print something and she said I could wait until the patron currently using the computer was done. I obliged, and waited for 5 minutes until the other woman was finished. At this point the computer shut down and restarted completely. The employee directed me only to click next at the blue screen so I did. The computer took more than 10 minutes to start up. Once it was started there was no internet app on the desktop so I asked the employee "is there internet on this computer?" She said briskly "yeah you have to wait for the customer part it just takes a minute." I waited a few more minutes and new apps started to pop up and the search bar appeared. I typed in internet explorer and was able to download my necessary document and click print. However it said unable to print. I told the employee this and she said in a completely rude manner "yeah well that's because youuu didn't wait for the customer part." (As if I knew what she was even talking about when she said "customer part"). I said "okay how do I get there." And she goes "I'm going to have to restart the computer again" while making no moves or intentions to actually restart it. This is Something that already took nearly 15 minutes! I explained to her that yesterday the nice man had me email it and he printed it immediately to which she replied "yeah I just don't have time to help you." Are you serious? She never once came over to the computer to physically guide me through anything. She had two customers come in during the time I was there. Isn't it the job of employees to help all customers, not pick and choose which ones she has time for? Her demeanor was unprofessional and disrespectful. Not to mention she was not wearing a face mask, something REQUIRED by law. Now here I am, a student unable to print out her financial aid documents because an employee was unwilling to help. Where can I go next since everything is closed?!! read more

Pretty bad customer service. Had a ups return where the Amazon item is supposed to be returned unboxed without being sealed. It is wild to me that there can be so many bad reviews, including snarky replies to said reviews by owner, without any changes. The employees here are rude and miserable. As the woman working today prepared a customer's large order for shipping, she provided a commentary about how much she hates Amazon returns and how terrible the Amazon return customers are, all while four people were standing in line , some with Amazon returns. Went there to return a book and a older woman with gray hair barely spoke to me and when I said "I have a book to return" she says "K" and walks away. Doesn't even have the common courtesy to say hello. I go "well could I get a receipt for that". She continues to breathe so heavily as if I asked her to donate her kidney to me. Like all you have to do is scan the package, press maybe 2 buttons and hand me a receipt... that's your job. I then go "thank you" because I was raised to have manners and she rolled her eyes and walked away. Like wow, UPS please be aware that I was offended by this and feel that if I was older or with my mom she wouldn't have acted in such a way. After coming to this location for several years and putting up with the awful customer service, today was the final straw. The woman who works here is quite possibly the most unfriendly and rudest employee I have ever encountered. I chalked it up in the past to having a bad day, but this is truly not the case. Every time I bring in an amazon return, she grumbles and complains about how many there are. Today I had an item that apparently I had to box up, pay for a box, and package even though the amazon return said that the UPS store does it free of charge. She simply did not want to do that which I then told her that I would go to another store. She said "ok, bye". The Wexford UPS store did the return and even though it is slightly further from me, I will be using that store from now on. I guess that's why they have 5 star reviews and this location has 2. Maybe the owners should stop and look in the mirror a moment and take to heart the negative reviews rather than always coming to defend themselves on reviews - it can't be everyone else! read more

the two employees in there today had nothing going on and they were just sitting down doing nothing. when we came in the acted like it was the end of the world that they actually had to do their job. it was a man and a woman and it made me never want to go back there. they were so rude and very unhelpful. they should definitely not be employed in the customer service industry. absolutely terrible. read more

Garbage service.. unbelievably rude... NEVER come to this store.. I used the computer for 3 minutes to print documents and it charged me 16.00$.. complete rip off.. then when the papers were printed they were printed on these huge papers that were set as their default.. then the lady told me in a very rude way "well their are 2 sets of directions that tell you your able to change the size" as if normal size paper shouldn't be a default to print.. gave me no options other than to charge me 46.00$ to downsize the paper!!! So basically I drive all the way out there, spent 16$ and got NOTHING I needed other than rude service.. it would have costed me 62.00$ just to print some documents!!! Are you kidding me!!! NEVER come here.. take my word for it.. go to a FedEx store instead.. read more

The customer service at this location is terrible. I came in to return a pair of shoes and needed a small piece of tape placed across the short end of the packing box. I was told that they could not put a piece of tape on for me and that I would have to buy a whole roll from them. It's not that I minded buying the roll...not at all. It was the nasty way that it was said to me and the complete lack of interest in providing any semblance of customer service. I did buy the roll; the girl at the counter proceeded to tape the box numerous times and in another place, even though I had only disturbed the original package at the one end where there was just one layer of tape. That's fine...I guess she wanted to make her point. I hope they enjoy whatever profit they made off of that roll of tape for I will never return. There are several other UPS locations close by that will get my business in the future. This is actually the second time I went to the McCandless location; back in December I returned something and they were cranky as well. They need to learn to paste a smile on their faces; customer word-of-mouth is everything! read more
