I come to this location all the time to drop off things and everybody is super friendly and works as quickly as they can. I highly recommend this location and I am so grateful that they are there with generous business hours. They have some cool folders and stuff and also can help you with shipping your things. Their rudeness was unbelievable! I'm 71 years old and had trouble opening the door to carry in a large box to be shipped. As I struggled at the door, an employee just stood there and watched me. I had to yell out, please help me. All I wanted was help opening the door, and he snapped "give me the box" several times. That box was shipped, then I brought in two more large boxes (another customer helped with the door) to ship with one pre-printed label as I was instructed by the seller of the items being returned. They said I couldn't ship it that way. When I asked about taping the boxes together, a different employee snapped that I couldn't do it at the store. There was no thank-you for my business, sorry we couldn't help you and certainly no help getting the boxes out of the store. I knew the previous owner of the store from doing business there for 20+ years. I learned afterwards that he sold it a couple years ago. I will go to a different location from now on and hope that it's under different ownership. read more

Absolute worst customer service and false advertising! I have lived in Port Orange for over 10 years and I can't believe how I was treated. 0529/2025 Walked into the store with over 15 pounds of documents for shredding and a return from Amazon. I approached Matthew and without a hello or smile he informed me that it would be $2.00 a lb for shredding. On the website it clearly says $1.00 a lb and I had a 25% off coupon.(From the website) He then said the coupon and price he would not honor. He continued to get argumentative with me as I told him it came from their website! Matthew then said show me proof from our website. After I clearly showed him he said that they were independently owned and would not honor the price or coupon. Even though I showed him the price and coupon came from the Port Orange website. I informed him that I tried 5 times to contact the store and no one ever answered. (just try to get through to them with questions, they do not pick up) Matthew then very stoically and with a smirk said, we are a very busy store! Mind you I was the only one in the store besides four other employees at the front of the store! I ask for the manager numerous times and he wouldn't respond. I demanded to talk to the manager and the employee standing behind him the entire time we were conversing finally said "I am the manager." I was very confused that if in fact "he was" the manager, why didn't he speak up earlier? I ask his name and he said Tim. When I ask for his last name he replied, "That's not for you to know," Then Matthew ask me my name. When I told him my name he then replied, "I Never Forget a Face!" What was that supposed to mean? Tim told me that he would not accept what was clearly posted on the UPS Port Orange Website and told me to try a differ UPS Store! If that wasn't bad enough he then told me he wouldn't take my Amazon return!! I have been a customer of that store for over 10 years and I have never experienced such horrific treatment and total lack of respect. Matthew's comment about "I never forget a face and Tim's attitude refusing to take my Amazon return (If indeed he really was the manager) was totally appalling. PLEASE, if you can go to a different UPS Store do it!! I will be contacting UPS Corporate to let them know how this store chooses to do business. read more

Sadly they are under new ownership. I used to love and support this business, I've rented a box for 5 years. I gave them a glowing review 2 years ago. I always walked in with a friendly hello and was greeted the same. New owner rude, and goes out of his way to be unhelpful. Small businesses need to help eachother out! And they used to, but not anymore. They will be losing my business and I'm discontinuing the mail box. Hopefully, the new owner will realize before it's too late the value of customer service. read more

I now see that I am not the only one that had trouble with the store. Would not answer the phone. I tried calling for 30 minutes and then drove to the store and found the door locked at 6:01, and I believe they shut it early as they were all behind the gate counting money when I walked up. I had a question about a package I dropped off during the day that had the wrong item in it. It required a two second answer, or maybe picking up the phone, and they refused to speak to me. Customer service is non existent. Never again. read more

I have shipped documents from this store multiple times, and every encounter I've had has been quick, efficient, and accomplished exactly what I wanted to do in a short time. One time, I got to the store fifteen minutes before they opened, I thought I'd try to go in just in case someone was already, there. The person saw me at the door, unlocked it for me and helped me before opening hours. I was impressed. Another time, I wanted to reuse a USPS box to send something. They said, "no problem," we'll cover up what needs to be covered and send it for you. All taken care of in about two minutes. This is such a contrast to having to drive 20 minutes across town and wait in line another 20 at the Port Orange post office. read more

This store is hemorrhaging with incompetence. Last year they lost my dive computer ($500) - after calling, emailing, and trying to contact them so many times I lost count, to no avail, I gave up and accepted the loss. Today I tried to do a simple Amazon return (where items don't need to be boxed or labeled - believe me I have been happily going to Kohl's to do this but that wasn't an option this time), and this older worker refused to even let me fully enter the store, forcefully telling me that I had to bring it back boxed and that "Amazon is full of crap." I have never had a problem at this location like several in the past have said. I ship out things several times a week and have yet to have an issue. Sure they get busy and it's a smaller store so it can get crowded and busy. As far as only two people working there that's true at some hours but I have seen at least four plus the owner and it's still busy. read more

I have used this store to make several Amazon returns. Not sure if they are losing the items, or someone is simply stealing them, but the majority of returns never made it back to Amazon. It's hard to believe that it's simply incompetence since it's happened multiple times. When I return things to the Amazon return desk at Kohl's, it's never been a problem; not one lost item. These people have bad attitude & an inconsistent, conflicting "policy" to the Amazon's partner policy, one particular clerk is confused on what "hassle free returns" for Amazon means - I've returned Amazon Prime items there 8 times now, 4 without hassle as it should be, & 4 times with a grumpy employee telling me I had use the original packaging for my return - which is not true according to Amazon! This location is fine if you have your shipment boxed, taped and labeled. Otherwise the employees feel overwhelmed and unenthused. My last visit required that I travel to another location as I couldn't tell if the store was open or not. At 4:50 pm the metal security grate was pulled halfway down and the employees only mumbled when I asked if they were open. The guy behind the register was condescending, to the point where I had to wonder if he was compensating for the fact that he was working behind a register. These guys should all be fired. I'm a local Port Orange resident and every time I have tried to give them my business, they've given me the feeling that they're being incredibly inconvenienced by their customers. Example? - today I called them asking information about UPS international shipments, and not only do they not have the answers about basic UPS international services, but they also couldn't even bother to try and find the answers for me. The last time I went in there (which was ages ago because I avoid them like the plague) to get a single black & white page printed out, they tried to charge me a $3.50 "access fee", plus the printing fee. When I asked them what the "access fee" was for, they said it was the cost for them to insert the thumb-drive into their computer. SERIOUSLY?? Someone needs to put this sign in their window: THIS IS WHAT LOSERS LOOK LIKE. read more

I decided to rent a mailbox at this location and they were rude to me from the very beginning, especially the grouchy older woman manager always giving her condescending tone, impatient sighs and mean facial expressions. I went to send a package one day and pickup mail from my mailbox. I grabbed my mail and as I read it in my car I saw there was an invoice to renew my mailbox. I looked at my clock and saw that they should still be open and raced back to the store only to discover they closed several minutes early. The grouchy manager actually turned to face me through the door only to pretend not to see me and give me the cold shoulder as I held up my invoice for the mailbox through the clear glass door. The other gentleman saw me and was about to answer the door when the manager quickly asked him to retract his thought of caring and get back to counting the money. This grouchy manager may be polite and kind to some, but I feel it is necessary to let others know how completely rude and insensitive she was to me as a customer that day. My experience of this store is that I as a customer don't matter to them because all they want is their lousy paycheck at the end of the week and they just simply count the minutes until they can slide out of sight from the customer. I refused to renew my mailbox, and I now question ever stepping into a UPS store ever again. read more

We recently used this location to ship a small suitcase to Wyoming. We were charged $85.00. To ship the exact same suitcase back Via UPS with even more items in it was only $54.00. That is a huge difference. read more

This store has all of the services that you would expect a typical UPS store to have. They seem to get a lot of business and at times, the wait in line can seem a little long. I've never seen more than two people assisting customers at any given time. Maybe I've just missed that. Sometimes there's only one person helping. I like that the staff is knowledgeable and they do try to assist you with your needs. read more

They charged over $11.00 to fax 5 pages of life insurance documents. This was after he left me standing there not knowing what to do because he said the FAX didn't work. When another employee questioned the high charge he said he put it through twice. So I paid for his incompetence. read more

I went in with a flash drive to print as my printer is being serviced. yikes I wasn't told it's 22cents a copy until after we were done! Apparently they charge a higher price if you need to access a file. I called Office Depot and it's 10cents no matter what. Talk about gouging people. I would not have posted because Caveat Emptor (let the buyer beware). EXCEPT... I get home and put my brand new flash drive back into my computer and bam! my antivirus says the drive now has a win32.ini trojan!! watch out for this store! read more

Used this shop for all our shipping until a package was damaged during shipping. We refunded our customer immediately and it took 3 months to get full resolution from this store. This store is a franchise and UPS corporate will not interfere with ongoing claims. BEWARE that this store uses their own insurance for claims of damage in shipping. This store owner Jim and the insurance company are VERY SLOW in processing claims if made. Will never use again now because of this experience. read more
