This is an excellent UPS store. I recently had some new brochures printed and am so happy with the results. Teague worked with me tirelessly to create a prior design set-up, offering many valuable suggestions and ideas for improving the overall appearance, then patiently worked through several initial printings until we got it just right. PRICE GOUGING!! They Charged $3 to print a prepaid shipping label for a package that's being shipped through their store. And they have the nerve to ask you to round up for charity. LOL Its .50 cent at fedex and they usually print it for free if your shipping with them. I asked if they are printing on gold paper?!? Why would a one single sided black and white print be that high. It literally cost Pennie's to produce. Never again! read more

I must share my most wonderful experience at the UPS Store in Sellwood-Moreland neighborhood on SE Tacoma. Afshan, the owner of the shop, was kind and skillful in the preparation of my Mother's prized China, crystal, and silver service for shipping cross-country to my son. Packing ninjas! Folks here did an unreal, awesome, amazing job of packaging a fragile, ( and very expensive) heavy tube preamp for me...arrived in perfect condition. They also held package for two days so that it would arrive on the exact date I specified. I was nervous as a long tailed cat in a rocking chair factory awaiting feedback from buyer. Turns out, everything was smoooooth. Service was not cheap, but in my opinion was a good value. And finally, staff here for understanding, nice, and easy to work with. Don't hesitate... I've "mailed" packages and had documents notarized, and the experience has always been good. The staff is small, though, so if you go at a peak time you may have to wait. They also carry really nice greeting cards made by a local artist, which I think is a nice touch. read more

I needed biometric photos for a foreign passport renewal. The specs were very specific and had to be correct. No problem. The employee knew exactly what was needed and had them done for me in mere minutes for a very reasonable price. I should have gone here first instead of Walgreens who claimed they knew what was needed but ended up charging me more than the UPS store for photos that I cannot use. We were trying to get passport photos now that Costco, for some reason, decided to eliminate their photo department. This was a Saturday morning and we needed three sets of photos for passports. When we first walked in and told the clerk what we needed, it wasn't that busy. We got the pictures taken rather quickly but there was something wrong with the machine that trimmed the photos. So the clerk had to hand trim the photos. As she was in the process of doing this, it suddenly got steadily busier. People coming in wanting to ship or return things. There was only 1 employee in the store. We weren't in a hurry so we let her know that we were OK if she took care of other customers. She was very adept at juggling all the different tasks and customers presented to her all at once and sort of kept us in the loop. Overall, a pretty decent experience. read more

When one print store was unable to print out colored photos in a somewhat difficult format, the Sellwood UPS Store did it beautifully. Afshan at the UPS Store 5298 on SE Tacoma really knows how to do even the most difficult copying jobs. We were completely satisfied with the results. my local go to place for personal shipping ( I use fedex for work stuff ). Friendly staff, good hours,.. what can I say? If you need to ship something and are in sellwood, stop by. They make it easy. read more

The people here are really nice and helpful. They now have a sign by the computer regarding the computer use fees. I use this place regularly, but I'd still recommend getting a printer for home if you need to print return labels often. read more

Went in to find out how to ship with dry ice had no info to give me so the employee on duty charged me 45 cents for everything I could have found going to there website , did he say that ,no just charge me for three copies two that had no information I need also not letting me know that he was charging for this info read more

The worst UPS Store I have ever used. They are located near my work so I really tried use them but after about 10 visits to their store and each time being given wrong information. I am very patient which is why it took me over ten visits to realize this store sucks. Did not deliver as they said they would, the prices and information changed from specific phone conversations to in-store shipping. I have used UPS for years and shipped all over the country large parcels and small. This store needs a work over! I now go out of my way to use a different location. They all look the same but believe me, they are not the same at all. read more

I have been coming here for years and this has to be the worst customer service I have experienced. Tried to get a notary and they accused me of not having the right signature so I signed again and then he started asked if I was being coerced to sign ...I said no and he asked are you sure ..you're acting aggressive and I thought ...I'm acting aggressive because you accused me of not being me and then asked me if I was being coerced and then said this was all fishy. Always great service from a local business tended daily by the owners. Today was a great surprise... wanted 11x17 prints of a poster and was expecting the white border all around. Nabil and Afshan were able to deliver full-bleed 11x17 with no markup. That doesn't sound like much unless you're into graphic design, but it's little details like that that make any business worth going to. We'll be back! read more

The most efficient and friendly service at this location! My boyfriend and I needed to return AT&T equipment yesterday and first went to the location closest to our house in Milwaukee. The owner was unorganized and told us he couldn't currently help us in his empty store because he had four orders ahead of us. We left and came to this location and were helped so quickly and she did it with a smile! I wish we asked her name but she was such a friendly woman and took her time to make sure we felt comfortable enough to leave the equipment with her. She was organized and made sure she put in all the correct information. She supplied us with a receipt and ended up making an almost stressful situation, a carefree one. Thank you so much for providing such efficient and friendly service. There is also free parking right next to store in the shipping center parking lot. read more

Great customer service! I saw smiles on the faces of the staff and the other customer in the store. They went above and beyond to help me. All I had was a couple of Amazon returns. My return packaging was the same envelope and box that the items arrived in and was not in very good condition after being opened. The shipping labels were applied for me and they even securely taped the shipping containers for me. Great experience. I will definitely be back in the future! read more

Excellent customer service! They are friendly, consistently tape up my open Zappos boxes and offer my kids candy. If they aren't busy, they will show the kids the model UPS plane and truck. My husband and I had a post box here for 6 months. Before a trip to Europe, we ordered a huge amount of travel gear that all came through this store, so we used their services a lot. We also mailed packages from here regularly and used their shredding services. We were always served quickly and with warm smiles and efficiency. We are temporarily living in Portland and have therefore become quite reliant on this little UPS. I'm not a person who likes to run errands, but whenever UPS is on the list, I secretly smile a little. The staff is BEYOND AMAZING and friendly and helpful. They repeatedly go above and beyond -- staying open late, helping us to our car, etc. The guy who helped out tonight, Adam, was super helpful and delightful. I can't recommend this place enough.
