I've had a box with this UPS store for close to 15 years soley for packages. The post office would leave them at my mailbox, on a busy road half a mile from my house and they would occasionally go missing. Just look at all the other 1 star reviews. This place is the most unprofessional business I have ever encountered. I Went to the UPS store to overnight some documents. The employee named Thomas was unwilling to accommodate my request of providing a pre paid return shipping envelope. Went on a spiel of how he has been scammed multiple times offering that service. I decided to take my business elsewhere. I packed up my documents and in the process I accidentally grabbed an envelope he was going to provide. Thomas decided to come out in the parking lot while I was in my truck getting ready to leave. He proceeded to yell at me and belittle me and threatened to call the police because I accidentally took the envelope. I gave him back the envelope. Thomas then hit the mirror of my truck. The mirror now has damage to the turn signal. Thomas demonstrated an inability to control his anger and made the conscious decision to cause damage to my truck. I have all of his behavior documented and recorded. Look at the attached still photos of him hitting my mirror. The owners of this business have demonstrated a repeated failure to accept responsibility for their actions. Numerous public complaints across platforms such as Google, Facebook, and Yelp describe similar issues involving aggressive conduct by the owners, Thomas and Robin. During my interaction with the business, Thomas made contact with the mirror of my truck, resulting in observable damage. Despite this, the owners declined to acknowledge responsibility or offer an apology. Instead, they disputed the incident and attempted to attribute fault to me. I find the lack of accountability, professionalism, and good-faith effort to address the matter concerning. Given the consistency of comparable complaints from other customers, this appears to reflect a broader pattern in how disputes are handled by this business. The service was not worth the time. I'm completely accepting that it's the holiday season and people are doing returns and shipping so the line was not a problem however the service received was I found to be unwelcoming. Trying to do a return and having the person behind the counter talk down and disrespectfully is not an experience anyone would have. I don't want to put the young man's name on here but I suspect he doesn't have great social skills and needs to work on it. I asked to speak to a supervisor and the girl next to him came over and while she was more pleasant I didn't come across well that she apologized and then kept saying how wonderful the other employee was. I told her I'm sure he was but it was the way he spoke to me and treated me that was a problem. At that point a 3rd employee jumped in ( who wasn't involved in any way) and kept trying to relay how great the first guy was. I finally told them both they shouldn't have to tell me how great he was at his job and it wasn't their place to convince me of that. I wouldn't have even posted a review had it not been for the "convincing" they were trying to do. Lots of people seem to give this location bad reviews and I can see why. Customer service is really not that hard and I don't expect anything but to be treated nicely just like I treat others. Worst customer service. I was in a hurry. I had a large package weighed about 60lbs was labeled and ready to ship. There was a line. I set the package down near the counter told the clerk I didn't need a receipt and could I just leave it. He refused said I have to have a receipt or I can leave and take my package somewhere else. This is the only location that would not take my package without a receipt. I run a small business my shipping expenses with UPS run about $15000/yr. I've shipped with UPS and FedEx from several different drop off locations and never had a problem dropping off a package without having a receipt. I seldom use this UPS store even though it is the closest one to me. They are consistently slow even with 3 to 4 employees working. This was the second time they refused to accept a package. If I could do ZERO Stars, I surely would. I have used this location multiple times to do Amazon returns. When I recently took a package in for return there was confusion over the "boxing" that was required. As I was trying to explain my understanding of the boxing I had arrived with for the return. 2 employees standing side-by-side insisted it was incorrect. They would not give me a chance to explain my understanding of the "boxing" requirement, or to show them my correspondence with Amazon. I was told to go get an additional box for it, or buy one from them. This item was a large dollar return, so I had to run home to get an additional box to put it in. I was not happy about having to make an extra trip. When I returned, I let the person at the counter know I was "p.....d" The reason being, during the 1st visit I was not allowed to share with the employees the correspondence I had from Amazon on the requested boxing. And, 2 of them had firmly verbally addressed me at the same time. I was not happy and not my best self upon return. Instead of asking about my frustrations and concerns, "S J" the owners daughter was very rude, she repetitively cut me off. Which brought about the escalation in my frustration. I was not allowed to speak. There was an extreme lack of professionalism on her part. I left very angry due to her continually shutting down my clarification/questions. However, I returned a few hours later to genuinely apologize for my reaction to her during my 2nd return visit that day. She shared with me that this location is trying to sever ties with Amazon due to the high frustrations with the consistent mis-communication between customers, Amazon and UPS. "S.J." blamed me, other frustrated customers and Amazon for the stress they are constantly under. Zero ownership on her part. During that last visit where I took ownership for my part in "reacting" to her/their rudeness she continued to cut me off when I was graciously making suggestions on how to avoid these stressful situations, by simply taking time to listen to customers concerns/confusion, not cutting them off and being impatient, of which I shared kindly. I also asked to talk with the owners (her parents) as their is no technical manager. She refused that option, saying they would not be interested in hearing my concerns. This UPS location is so Angry at Amazon, and impatient with confused Amazon item return customers. Be aware. "S.J." could care less whether I returned as a customer. She even told me other business to go to. Confident that they have plenty of business. Just WOW! I come back to own my part and she gets teary being so thankful I did because no one ever does that, but then when I try to kindly suggest how to avoid this in the future, hoping she may take ownership for respectively cutting me off, she goes back to blame shifting. In her mind there is no such thing as customer service. Customers pay the price by being scapegoated. My heart goes out to her for the stress they're under, however, it is in no way appropriate business practice to talk over, interrupt or blame customers. I will not return to this UPS location, and I will encourage as many people as possible to not utilize their business either. Personal ownership and integrity goes a long way. I was in this store today, i needed to do some amazon returns i brought both packages in their original packaging( full disclosure I removed my address label from one of the boxes as i knew a new label would be reprinted for the return). The lady behind the counter told me on more than one occasion that i needed the original packaging for this return to which i said every time this was the original packaging, she asked me where the label was i said i removed it, she then wanted me to be specific from where on the box the label had been as there would be sicky residue left over from me removing the label. Then once again in a very accusing tone that i needed the original box this item was shipped in as the the box was a manufactured box not a generic amazon box. ( mind you she did this same thing to than man in front of me and ultimately let him go, he offered her proof of the delivery picture to prove his box had also been shipped directly in the manufacturer box, she told him it wasn't necessary and off he went not before she did a tamed down version of how she treated me. the first occasion she called a man out to show me that peeling the label off the box would leave behind some sort of evidence that a label was once there. I left my box at the counter went outside to call amazon to have them text me a picture of the delivery confirmation picture so i could go back inside and prove that the box was being returned in the exact condition as i received it. I came back in the store showed the picture and the lady immediately did an about face and sent the man out AGAIN who then began to act equally as nasty and instead of saying in a MUCH FRIENDLIER VOICE im sorry about that but amazon has strict rules and we need to confirm that this is the original shipping box, this would have been a much different experience. in the end they did print the return label and as i was leaving i was informed there was another ups store in cda ( as if to 86 me i guess LOL). I did nothing wrong here their attitudes out the gate were garbage they escalated this to a point it didn't need to happen they were the ones who raised their voices at me and I matched their energy, funny how people don't like it when you treat them the way they treated you. I will heed their very pointed advice and I will not return to their store I remember when this store first opened i was sending lots of boxes out and had been in there often never had I experienced the vitriol i experienced today, never did i feel the intimidation of sending "the man"( felt like his roll was to be some kind of an enforcer) out to deal with me. I read the reviews on this place and sense a pattern they accept no accountability for any of the complaints pertaining to customer service and more times than not act like they did no wrong i can with 100 % certainty say this situation with me was ALL on them, i came in to return 2 amazon packages and was all but called a liar. treating the very people you rely on to keep you a float like they are garbage is not a successful business plan. I don't know what things happened to you or your store before i got there but i did not deserve any of what you dished out. They offer notary service. I called to see if need appointment and said come any time after 11:00. I went and waited in line and then they said they were "too busy" and come back tomorrow. Some guy came rushing and tried to cut just as I was about to move forward and he asked if I was in line and I said yes he then went off on my saying he didn't know really load and the guy at the counter said "we don't tolerate that here" to me like I was a trouble maker and he'd kick me out. At one time I thought that this was a great place to ship out packages, but my recent visits have caused me to take my business elsewhere. I took a box in about a 2 weeks ago to ship out (Jam for my niece) and was quoted $38. This contained 6 jars. I decided to check with the post office in which I added 4 more jars (10 jars total)to the box and I paid $18. So a few days later my daughter had to ship out a box to Dyson with prepaid shipping. They told me that the label would not scan and the package would just sit at the warehouse and never get delivered. So I contacted Dyson and they said all they needed to do was to type in the tracking number. I ended up taking the box to the UPS Store in Hayden and they shipped it with no problem and the package was delivered to Dyson a couple days later!!!! read more

So rude. I walked in and started with "I'm sorry I have a lot of return packages and I may need some help". The girl said no problem... until there was a problem. Both she and the man I think was her boss said " it's not my job to help you". I said " it's called "customer service". This location has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. If your package is not 100% ready they do nothing to help explain it. Keep in mind there was no one in line behind me. Turns out Amazon returns that came in one package had to be returned with the same packing code. I figured it out while there. I would no go back to this rude location again. The owners response to my complaints is totally untrue, I NEVER left a child in a hot car unattended, it was I who explained to him why I could not come to the counter because my grandson was in the car. The Air condition was on the entire time doors open AND had a view of the car and could hear and see him the entire time. I go in year round and they have always been professional and reasonable. they are speedy, knowledgeable, and always willing to help explain how things work and how to best get things done within their parameters. I think the issue is customer expectation. When I walk in the bank I do not expect to be charged a dollar to use a pen and a deposit slip. When I go to a restaurant I do not expect to be charged a dollar for a glass of water. When I walked into the UPS store, it was with the expectation that I would find UPS packaging. I think that was a reasonable expectation since UPS is in the name. Had I known that you did not have a UP S soft package, I would not have even walked in your store. Trying to make the best of a bad situation, I thought I would still mail it off in the existing packaging but just needed a piece of tape to seal it. I would have taped it at home if I had known that you would not have the proper packaging. I did not expect to be charged a dollar for a 10" strip of packing tape from a dispenser that you had sitting on your counter. The cost of said 10" strip of packing tape is about a 10th of a penny. At what point does a business owner think to himself or herself "is it better to give my customers a common courtesy that costs me virtually nothing then to try and make a buck on what the rest of the world deems a common courtesy?" Wouldn't it have been a much smarter business choice to say "sure you can have a piece of tape" and save a customer relationship ? Just saying... and as a side note, it makes you look really bad to attack a customer for leaving you a bad review, no matter how unfair you feel it is! 3/2/2020 IT WAS NOT AN AMAZON RETURN!
