I've been to the Rahway, NJ locstion several times, and have never left happy. Inappropriate music blaring, employees on their phones not even noticing you walked in. Charging a dollar to tape an envelope, no other UPS has tried to charge me for a few pieces of scotch tape. Today is the last time I will ever go into this location. Had a creep employee lean over the counter staring at me making all kinds of comments about my hair. I kindly took the compliments untill he said, can I touch it?? I ask, touch what? He said your hair, can I touch it! I said that's not very professional and it's disrespectful, really? Then I gave him a piece of my mind. He tried arguing with me! My UPS store is on St. Georges Avenue near the Dollar tree and bagel shop. I go there when I need a notary, packages mailed, and copies. I needed a document scanned but their scanner is down. I wrote this review, sitting in my car, as soon as I left the store. Where do I begin? I needed to fax something, so I called The UPS store. The guy who picked up the phone was super nice. Being me, I called another corporate place in regards to their faxing prices - they were about 75% more expensive than The UPS Store. 15 minutes after I hung up, I arrived. I assumed the guy behind the counter was the same one on the phone. At this point in my day I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown (completely unrelated to UPS), nothing was going how I had planned. The kindness the worker showed me was unbelievable, to the point that I started to cry. You can tell no one asked him to be nice - he just is. He even ran to the bathroom to grab me tissues. His thoughtfulness, from the time I called to the moment I left the store, was a calming reminder that there are good people in this world and that I need to relax. I don't know who this guy is, other than he works at UPS, but I have my receipt. I'm going to call corporate, so they can pinpoint him, to let them know what a gem of a human he is. I would not suggest going to this ups center. They are very slow to process packages. Packages take multiple days to leave this location while in other locations they are shipped out in the same day in a couple of hours. Many of my packages are either delayed or never get tracking updates. Not sure if this store is actually scanning the packages. read more

I took my Aunt to the local ups store to mail a package. The person behind the counter, who was an older asian man, was extremely rude to us. When we asked if he had any boxes, he curtly told us to use one of the envelopes. Then when it was apparent the package would not fit he demanded we put the envelope back. Eventually we selected a box, which was priced around a ridiculous $7. After finally being rung up and leaving, we realized that he circled 6 tracking numbers. My Aunt checked each one and all of them were wrong! Fortunately the package was received, but not without significant worrying before hand. Also note that the whole time as my Aunt inquired about the delivery of the package, the man's demeanor was openly rude. I'm not talking rude as if maybe he was having a bad day, but rude as if this man had a personal problem with us. I was not aware of anything we did that would have provoked him. Also, my Aunt is a very polite and soft spoken lady. We found his behavior and attitude to be offensive and I will never ever come here again for any future services. read more

I was having issues with my fingerprinting at one of the staten island ups stores and after getting frustrated with the lack of help and horrible customer service, I scheduled to come here. The man behind the counter took the time to help me out and speak with customer service because it was required by the background screening company. He was friendly and was able to assist each customer to the best of his ability while speaking to the customer service representatives. I'm more than happy that I drove here just because of the amazing customer service. Thank you again for helping me with everything. The toll was well worth it. read more

not good all i needed was 3 copies doubled sided. i had no clue how to use the copier. the documents. the guy at desk/ resister verbally directed what to do. they cam out half sheets, he then said bring them here ill do them here. i reminded him double sided, he said no charge for the first that came out half sheets. I PAID on my debt card for what he just did and to find out as i returned to my car, he only did single sided[ i needed them to get done ] so back i went waited on line to him again and said I need double sided and he did single he said sorry ill do it again no charge. he did them correctly and i left now 4 hrs. later looking at my bank on line to see he charged my debit card me for every thing . ILL GO TO STAPLES I KMOW I PAY FOR WHAT I GET AT STAPLES. read more

My husband left his glasses in our hotel room and I needed to have them shipped to me in Iowa. After dealing with the customer service features on the corporate website and was very frustrated and furious. When I called the store directly, Robert and Amed were delightful to work with and were willing to go above and beyond to help me.
