I have been using this UPS store for business mail and personal packages for 20+ years. The transition to new ownership was very smooth. Never had any problems. New owners continue to improve services. I appreciate the updated boxholder package station. I see all of the low reviews, but from my observation it is mostly people that are unfamiliar with the shipping process, return process, or get frustrated waiting in line on busy days. read more

1 Star - Never Again If I could give 0 stars, I would. This was by far the worst UPS Store experience I've ever had. My husband, baby, and I came in to return Amazon packages and from the moment we walked in, the staff was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. The woman behind the counter refused to help us purchase the correct box, repeating over and over "No, you can't buy that box, it's for moving," without offering a solution. When my husband asked what we could buy, she just said, "I can't help you." She was also nearly yelling at another customer named Shanna, who calmly explained she had just spoken with UPS customer service about her return. Instead of listening, the woman kept raising her voice and saying "No, you can't do this." When I stepped in to defend Shanna, I said, "Yes, it's my business to jump in when you're disrespecting another customer and I'm trying to help them out." The man in the photo (her husband) butted in, telling me "It's not your business because this isn't your business." From there, things only got worse. He repeatedly cut me off, talked down to me like I was stupid, waved his hands in my face, and when my husband told him not to speak to me like that, he escalated further -- saying "I can fight you." This was in front of our baby. Completely unprofessional and threatening behavior. As we left, the woman slammed the door shut on us while I was carrying my baby, and then the man aggressively swung it back open, shouting that they were still open (even though it was 4:25 -- five minutes before closing). On top of everything, they were taking personal phone calls during this chaos, talking about being "late" to family plans, instead of focusing on customers. This wasn't just bad service -- it was hostile, unsafe, and completely unacceptable. UPS should seriously review the conduct of the employees/owners at this location. The new owners of this UPS store are rude, awful and sneaky. They did not provide me options on shipping (Overnight, express, priority, etc) and just assumed the most expensive method. Both the husband and wife treat you with disrespect, especially the husband. They are doing a major remodel and decided instead of closing during this time, they thought it would be a good idea to do business out of a shipping container which is inefficient, causes major delays, parking is a nightmare, and removed the handicap parking. Don't waste your time at this store. There are better options either at The Landing or in Fairwood. I used to go to this store weekly for both business and to drop off Amazon but will no longer go into this store to be treated rudely. read more

I get packages shipped to me several times a week to this location for my business. Been doing it this way for almost 15 years. Over the last year or so there has been management/owner changes and with that missing/misplaced packages. Multiple time a package would show delivered only for the manager to say they don't have it. They would blame the UPS driver later to find the package stored away on a back room shelf. Recently they got a new manager and she hasn't helped me at all to locate a package that shows delivered 3 days ago now. Again blames the driver. I recently had an extremely disappointing encounter with the lady at this location. Zero positive personality, no people still, as I still have question, she avoid me concern and just move on. This was my first time trying to do an Amazon return at this location. I was met by the counter lady and was told it was not eligible since the box needed to be in another box on top of the box that it was in. I have never had a problem with my Amazon returns at the UPS store in Snohomish location before. Mind you the return was in a box and nothing was out of place. I went to the UPS store around 6 pm on July 13th. to drop off a box to return shoes that did not fit. I waited at the counter for 5-7 mins before the clerk decides to acknowledge me. I saw her stare at her screen and she did not say, "I'll be with you in a min.", or even a hello when I was waiting at the counter. I said to her that I Need help. She Totally ignores me when she walked around the counter to finish what she was doing. She also helped her fellow clerk, an older Senior Guy who was helping another customer. Then she started arguing with him about what time Pickups are. When she asked me Can I help you? Drop off? I said Yes, it's a Free Return. After giving me the receipt, She gives me Attitude and was Rude. Later, she was Super friendly to a regular customer who was getting his mail when I was leaving. She was Super unfriendly towards me, So It's a 1 Star for bad customer service. I've used the UPS store in Renton Landing before to get a notary and got excellent customer service. The UPS stores on Westlake and Lower Queen Anne had given me friendly service as well. I just hope she gets better training in the future. I've gone to multiple UPS stores, countless times. I happen to come here because it was the closest at the moment and I'll never be back. Asian women working was not professional and came off rude. I walked in and said that i need to ship my package out. It was a shoe box inside a box - depending if i have tape or not I'll take the box closed but i didn't in this case. At other locations they don't even mention it and gladly tape it for me with a smile but this women seemed PISSED that i didn't. She yelled that i need to have the box taped before i come in here as she shoved and crumpled the shipping label into their slip to stick on the box. And nope she didn't tape the box she stuck the slip on the front and turned around and left to the back. No receipt. It was ridiculous. The worst service I've gotten at a UPS. I'm waiting to see if the company received my package. read more

If I could have given 0 stars I would. I rarely give a negative review but I feel sometimes people need to be warned. Besides being impatient and rude. I had a return for Amazon that they were supposed to take care of and she told me that would charge me $50 for 1 large box to put 3 boxes into. It came in 3 individual boxes when it arrived at my house. I understand there's only one scan code that Amazon offers for the return. However, to charge me $50 for a 4 x 4 box is ridiculous. Counter person is a liar Sorry to report I had a package shipped there for pickup. I got notification it was delivered per UPS. I went to pick it up about two hours after it was dropped off. The young man with straight hair manning the counter asked for my ID and looked for about 30 seconds before proclaiming it has not yet arrived. I told him UPS sent me an emails saying it had been, it was a perishable shipment and offered to give him a glimpse of the email with the tracking number. In a passive aggressive way he was having none of that and told me to come back tomorrow. So I called UPS's 800# to see if there was some issue on their end. After sitting on hold for 25 mins I finally got someone who verified it had been tagged as delivered and that I had to have the shipper "escalate" the issue to find out what was going on. Called the shipper who then contacted UPS, who then made the store (The store is not part of UPS BTW just a contracted third party) look for the package, surprise surprise it was there the whole time. So this lazy donkey of a counter person, lied to me and wasted a bunch my time. I think there are new owners as today he came out and told me they almost refused the package yesterday because they don't know who I am???? I dislike leaving negative reviews, but after being negatively treated a number of times by the owner and shockingly seeing the other comments here, it is important to echo how poorly customers are treated here. *Rudely piped, "that's only for documents," which I knew and could read the sign while I was browsing the shelves *As I stepped toward the sole table to pack items, she quipped, "you pay first". I explained that the items weren't packaged yet and asked to do them on the customer table she quipped again a loud "no" and said to go to the register. I literally had to pack my items on the floor and a tiny scale! *At the register she repeated, "you pay" (which already had my items rung up on the screen!) but hadn't weighed my boxes or calculated postage so I changed my mind doing all my business with her and only finished the ones I had pre-paid postage for *Asked for a pre-paid label to be printed for a code I had, she declined and pointed to a sign to email it that noted a $3 printing fee for a B/W single page (two other nearby UPS offices don't charge to print UPS labels!) *While waiting for her to finish with a customer on another register, she asked if I emailed the label, I said yes, but rather than returning to finish my sale, she instead helped another customer *When she finished helping the other customer she spoke to her employee who got off his phone from a personal call. He asked if the emailed label was ready and without once touching the side computer she LIED and said no! I had watched her closely the whole time while waiting for her as she helped other customers that were AFTER me, and she did not once check the company email! The employee minimized a window and revealed my email very obviously had been there all that time. (He was very nice as usual and completed my sale quickly.) For years I have been bringing my personal as well as my work's items to her business - I love to support small business owners - but today was the last straw. When the owner was done with a customer, I walked over and shared how disappointed I was with how pushy and rude she was with me. Of course she said she wasn't and dismissively apologized. We have had many chats together so I initially had felt ok talking to her. But when I mentioned that she'd had great service for the 13 years that I've been a customer but the last few times were disappointing with how she alone treated me she immediately shrugged me off saying, "I don't know you" and "I wasn't rude", which clearly showed she didn't care about a loyal customer, was saving face in front of other customers, and further revealed the type of person she is now - uncaring, not customer-friendly, and spiteful. She WAS a great woman, she used to be friendly and chatty, she used to be patient and helpful, she used to never treat people with careless and deceptive behaviors. The lady in the store was super rude and inconvenienced by the fact that I had a question for her to answer. Another time we went, the package they measured was wrong. They added a couple inches to each side and said it would be over $100 to ship. The guy who came to help measure it was super rude too. We ended up taking our package to the Fairwood location and they measured it correctly and it came out to $70 compared to $140! Go to Fairwood location just up the hill. This store is the closest to me but I stopped going after getting into it with the guy with long hair that works there. I asked for a receipt for an Amazon drop off and he refused. I told him every other store gives one without asking and he argued with me for more time than it would've taken to print the receipt. I started going back again after a year because it's so close ... but never again. I was in line yesterday and this same guy wasn't able to scan the qr code on a customer's phone because it was too light and the customer was trying to resolve it but he just got dismissive and rude with her. She called him out for his behavior and he continued to be rude and she left. The customer ahead of me in line stepped up and placed some items on the counter to box and the guy working told him not to interrupt next time because it made things worse. The customer was just trying to help and had suggested the customer text the qr code to him to see if it would scan on his phone! He was pushing back with the guy working and he told the customer to go somewhere else and walked away! This guy has some serious issues and is clearly not able to handle working with the public. I'm sure it's not an easy gig but I've never seen anyone deal with it so poorly. Neither of the customers were rude or gave him a reason to act that way. After reading so many bad reviews on here it's hard to understand why the owner has allowed it to go on for so long. read more

I've been here twice and they were so rude the first time that a regular customer standing in line behind me started yelling at them. This time I ask for receipts for my Amazon returns and the guy working there told me they'd be emailed to me while I watched him throw them away. Wtf???? Zero Stars: I felt like I was getting picked on by the lady that works there (is the owner's sister I think), for years. I usually try to avoid her because she is so rude to me and either go to a different store way out of my way or to the guy that works in there, who always greets people with a smile and is happy/patient with interactions and questions. The other day she was the only one there so I had to go to her. I placed my 3 small packages down and asked how she was doing today, to which she mumbled something and walked off. I sat there for a few seconds while she did tasks on the other side of the room then came back to me and scanned my codes. I asked if I could send a package as well. She didn't say anything but asked what the value was and then told me it would be 25$ to send a small, lightweight package across a few states. I questioned if there were other options or something more reasonable. She shook her head, cut me off, and said, " No, there is nothing else." The conversation escalated a bit as we exchanged back and forth, me sharing my previous experience of having several options and her cutting me off repeatedly, rolling her eyes, and stepping into the back room ignoring me to avoid answering the questions. I have been going to the UPS stores for many years and she has always been rude but today she was clearly discriminating against me or something. She was incredibly mean, dismissive, and unwilling to provide answers to pretty standard questions about services. I did not want to continue the interaction so I asked for the owner's information to be able to contact them about my experience and told her I believed she was being rude and questioned if for some reason she was lying to me. She refused to answer me about the information of the owner and instead handed me a fax cover sheet telling me to call the numbers listed on the sheet. All this to say, the Renton police stopped in and asked her for the information as well. She refused. They advised me to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I have since done so, as well, I've contacted the WA State Human Rights Commission to address the possible influence of bias. I sure hope she does not treat herself or others this way and/or can learn ways to better communicate to the degree of better business and general courtesy. read more

Terrible customer service. I went to this ups store to drop off a return and have some documents for my business cut to a4 size. I was told that there was a manual cutter and they couldn't cut my documents to the trim line/ registration marks. I started manually cutting my documents in the EMPTY store with the hand cutter. The owner then proceeds to tell me "next time you can't use the cutter for so long. You can't do that ". She was rude and their customer service is horrible. This is the second chance I have this ups store are they tried to upcharge a job I had done by them previously. I own a printing business And I was in a bind at the moment. I'm completely baffled that they would treat a paying customer (WHO TRIED TO PAY THEM TO DO THE TASK) like that when I wasn't using any resources or any of their man power. I represent a local business who doesn't have a UPS account. We use FedEx, but had to mail a package via UPS last month. I called today to ask for a copy of the receipt (co-worker lost original) but without an online account you can't get an e-copy. I was directed from UPS themselves to reach out to the store as it's the only way to get a copy of the receipt. The lady on the phone denied being able to get a copy, denied it was ever shipped from her store. Immediate lies rather than willingness to help. When I read her the whole track number she said she was TOO BUSY and HUNG UP on me. TOTALLY RUDE and unprofessional. Who runs a business this way? I will be stopping by to tell her in person that her franchise is THE WORST UPS store I have ever had the displeasure to come across. read more

However, the moment you interact with the workers specifically the older woman, you'll be greeted with rudeness and unprofessional attitude. TERRIBLE, DEPLORABLE "Customer Service"!!! :( I have been using this location's service since the doors opened...and they use to have employees that were nice and helpful, however, my last several visits to this location have been really HORRIBLE - in particular: the homely Asian Girl who works there (who didn't have a nametag & refused to give her name when asked) was EXTREMELY RUDE, DISMISSIVE & VERY DISRESPECTFUL!!! :( As a disabled person, I was struggling to open the heavy door with one hand, wobbling with a very heavy box and trying to balance on my cane with the other hand...and she just stood behind the counter and watched without any assistance! Further, when I finally hobbled up to the counter, she went to the back room and I watched as she shuffle a few things around - taking her sweet time...and when she finally came to the counter, she didn't even greet me nor ask how she could help - just stared at me with an unpleasant, uncaring look!! RUDE. Although already in a lot of pain that day; and panicky from having to drive myself (which I rarely do), and stressed about trying to get my pkg. back to Amazon in time..., I did a silent "wu-sah", took a breath, and calmly explained the help I needed in detail - showing her my cell phone screenshot of the Return Code along with my actual printout from Amazon. But apparently since I have "an older cell phone", she at first didn't even try to scan the code- until I said: "will you please try?" - which she very begrudgingly & from a far distance quick did...then merely shrugged her shoulders and shook her head 'no'. I asked her to "please try again", then asked if she could try to scan my printout - but with no eye-contact, and rudely moving things around on the counter, she coldly barked: "it won't work". Now, near tears, I pled: "I need your help, can you do more to help me? Can you scan the code from this Amazon printout? Type in this Amazon "RMA Number" on the stores computer and scan the 'bar code thingy' from that?" "Or call your Boss for help?" Yet, this unhelpful, cold-hearted UPS Store "employee" witch- continued to be rude, dismissive, uncooperative & highly insulting! She said nothing, did nothing, and then walked away from me to the other side of the counter, and proceeded to say: "Hi, can I help you?" to the customer who had just walked in.... THE AUDACITY!!!!! I quickly said: "Uhm, excuse me, I'm not done, you still haven't even helped Me!?!" Her reply?...."Go find another newer cell to take a picture of the code...and come back again." I WAS LIVID! in throbbing pain, and (not wanting "to cause a scene") jus hobbled out; with my heavy 'unreturned' box, in tears.
